Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was a welcome refuge for us and our cats from a recent forest fire. We could not have asked for a better place to heal. The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet, with the houses well spaced apart on an acre or more land. On the south side of town, near the major grocery stores, the Taos Country Club Golf Course, and 5 minutes to the hospital. Beautiful views of Taos mountain and the surrounding sage covered landscape. The house itself had a large kitchen, dining room, and great room in the center area with a master bedroom suite to one end and 2 bedrooms and en suite baths on the other end of the home. Lovely hot tub and comfy porch furniture off the dining room and kitchen were inviting places to relax and unwind. Plenty of closet space, lovely art work and southwestern rugs topped it all off. We would recommend this home without reservation.

Love this house.! The layout, the views, the attentive response from property manager, wanting to be sure everything went smoothly from check-in and throughout our stay. I stayed here two summers ago and couldn’t wait to get back. We left yesterday and already we’re looking at our calendar for the chance to return.

This house was absolutely perfect for us. The location was awesome. The bedrooms are a great size. The layout is spacious. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance and utensil we needed to enjoy meals at the house. I will be staying here again. The rental company and caretaker were very responsive, accommodating and super friendly. All around amazing experience.

The views were gorgeous - all day and great stars at night - and the house has all of the comfort of home. A beautiful place for a white Christmas. The fireplace worked perfectly and the kitchen was just what we needed for prime rib roasting. They got a brand new crockpot which we used for posole and beans on different days and the hot tub was another relaxing place to look at the mountains. This spacious and well appointed house was plenty of room for our college roommate reunion. Beautiful views. Cozy surroundings. Comfortable beds! Wish the wireless had worked.

We love the views and privacy. We had a problem with the wifi (needed to be rebooted) and a leak in the freezer because the ice maker was not working. Nothing major. The house was clean, but not perfect. There are ashes above the fireplace and when we took the cushions for the outdoor chairs out of storage, they were dirty and dusty. All that said, I would rent this house again.

The only small criticism I have is about the AC. I chose this house because it was one of the only in the area that claimed AC. Fortunately, it was not needed as opening the windows cooled it down quickly. Regardless, I would happily return!

Hiking in the mountains, rafting on the Rio Grande, cultural experiences at the Taos Pueblo all added to the wonderful time. The home is perfect for a family, couples or friends. Great quiet community convenient to shopping and all tourist activities. Beautifully furnished with everything you need to cook your own meals morning, noon or night.

The reason for the disappointment is because we woke up to no water on the morning we were supposed to attend our close cousin's graduation. We have been looking forward to this all year, especially her Grandma that was extremely upset for the rest of the trip because she missed the graduation. It's the only reason we came to Taos and we were very let down/disappointed. Property Management was great though and got us help right away, so it's not a matter of a lack of urgency or kindness, just a matter that we missed the graduation we came out to attend. The only reason for some low ratings is because of this disappointment we encountered. Anything that can be done about this to make up for missing the graduation? We would like to stay in this house again the next time we come out, but only if we can get some sort of acknowledgment of this situation that has been called a disaster by members of our family.

Open family room plan for TV watching, dining/kitchen & fireplace. Lucky to have great weather so hot tub under the stars most welcome. Terrific hiking trails close by as well as great restaurants. Caretaker, Julianne, was wonderful- extremely helpful & very responsive to our questions. Overall great experience!!

We enjoyed the Taos square (had chocolate at a lovely chocolate shop and ate at a nice Italian place), Rio Grand Gorge, Driving into the mountains. We stayed in, had family time, cooked together, ate and played games. Very spacious home with plenty of room for a couple of families to stay together. Kids loved the hammocks. Walmart was close for anything that was forgotten.I would recommend this home to others and would choose to stay here again.

However Julianne stepped up to the problem and he eventually was able to enjoy the hot tub. The location is great - easy to get to and to the shopping areas downtown.

Overall we had a great time and were impressed with how the house was stocked. There were plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. I have been to several VRBOs that always seem to be short of knives or cookware and that was not the case here. The house makes for excellent splitting as each bedroom has its own bathroom. The only complaint was that the house can get very warm and we had to open the windows to cool down. As a final note the description of the cross streets in the directions makes this place much easier to find as our GPS took us past the property.

A Broken screen door needs replaced,very hard to use.Both grills are bad,one is hard to light and has mostly a orange flame, the other has no propane and and was full of charcoal ash. One shower in one of the hallway bedrooms had standing water when used. The ice maker didn't work, but ice cube trays were all we needed. Overall the house roomy and wonderful.8

Our rental house was close enough but still had a great view of Taos and the surrounding mountains and valley. Our first choice rental property developed a minor leak just five days before our scheduled arrival. Premiere Properties went the extra mile and solved the problem by relocating our group to a rental house that was 50% larger and of higher quality. All for the same price as our original agreement. We will certainly use Premiere Properties again.
