The beds were very comfy and the whole house was spacious and clean. The heating was an amazing and so was the bathroom.

Not sure really. Wasn’t much bad about the place. The hot water did cut off on the second day but only for the bath and shower, but it wasn’t the end of the world

Spacious , good facilities

It was not very clear which areas were free parking as there were leaves all over the road . The leather sofa in the lounge was outdated with lots of worn out bits .

The apartment was a good size. The beds were comfortable. The linen and towels were clean. The parking was easy. The furniture was good.

It wasn’t cleaned properly and there were a number of maintenance issues that need dealing with. The kitchen was missing some items. The whole place needs a lick of paint to freshen it up.

Code sent in advance which really helped as we arrived after 11pm

Very spacious and well equipped property. The host was responsive and helpful towards all our needs.

We were asked to give a £200 security deposit after our booking was confirmed. This requirement was unexpected and felt worrisome as the additional £200 exceeded our budget for our stay. While this deposit was refunded as soon as we checked out of the property but it would have been nice if this was specified clearly in the details before accepting our booking. The title states 5 minutes from the city centre but it is actually a 5 minutes walk to the bus stop which takes you to the city centre. In total it takes about 30 minutes to reach the city centre after all the bus delays and cancellations.

The property was not as clean as I would have liked. This was explained to the owner who offered another apartment, however, we agreed on a reduced cost.

Location was good. Bedroom/bathroom were good.

Kitchen area was small when sofa bed in use. Dishwasher would have been more useful than washing machine.

The place is quite neighbourhood. Accessible by taxi and can walk going to the centre town.

We came when it was rather hot and felt like even with the fans on the place didn’t ever stay that cool.

Service from Iman was very good. Size of the apartment was good and beds comfortable.

The location is not 5 minutes to city centre, it is misleading and is a 35/40 minute walk. The decor was tired and needs to be refreshed.

The location is brilliant, the arrival was easy, the communication from the hosts was fast and effortless.

The walls are thin, and it was noisy. However, noise is expected with the city centre location, so it's not something we "didn't like." The apartment was brilliant, exactly what was needed for a girls' netball trip to Cardiff.

The rooms have everything you need and more. The latest 2 bedroom apartment is very smart and a lovely big space. The landlord came to see us while we were there and checked if we were all OK. We had 5 of the 7 apartments. Every question before was answered almost immediately. Dragon taxis got all 20 of us on time and politely. It was just overall a really pleasant stay.

Location is perfect, very close to city centre. Parking wasn’t an issue.

The toilet could have been cleaner

Good location, good facilities, welcome pack was a nice touch, apartment security was reassuring, good for group visits.

Extractor fan wasn't working in bathroom, we found toenail clippings on the living room rug and food crumbs under the beds so cleaning is substandard, dining table wasn't far from collapsing so we couldn't eat dinner off of it, heating kept resetting to a temperature that was too high.

The location was excellent for me, easy to park on the road (you can't park right in front of the house as there's a restriction, but lots of spaces available very close to the apartment). The hosts kept updating me through emails about the check-in process, quiet hours and facilities. Quiet apartment in a nice area of town. Was perfect for my stay. Coffee and crisps were a nice touch by the host.

The one living plant (pothos) in the living room was very unattended. The soil was bone dry and the leaves looked very sad. Please water it more often! (I watered it when I was there)

The apartment was clean & tidy. And the host was very responsive and helpful. Overall I had a great experience.

when we first got there it had not been cleaned, rubbish was left, half eaten food had been left and bed hadn’t been made and no towels. it took an hour and 20 minutes for people to get there and clean. although I can not fault Iman who I think may have owned the property. Him and another person came and cleaned the house top to bottom, he also bought us a bottle of wine to apologise and showed us how to use the speaker system in the property too. it’s such a shame it wasn’t clean when we arrived, but I will say the stay was amazing and other than that comment I would have rated it 10/10.

We stayed in Oakfield for two nights. Staff was proactive and well responsive. Smart lock was cool. The apartment was well equipped, clean and had truly fast Internet. Easy access to the Cardiff city centre. Giving a good recommendation.

Great location, had all the amenities I needed for a longer stay. Spacious, apart from the the bedroom which was a little cramped but only on account of the large comfortable bed. Usually no problem finding a parking space very close, if not right in front of the property. Lovely airy, light filled space.

The common areas weren’t kept particularly clean, with some dirt and bits of rubbish lying around for over 2 weeks. I needed to use the washing machine soon after arriving but it was filthy inside so I had to give it a thorough clean before using. Whilst cleaners did a surface clean, I doubt they have time to do a thorough clean but I’d recommend a deep clean of the washing machine every so often to prolong the life of the machine apart from anything. Really poor sound insulation in the bedroom from both the apartments above and below but especially from next door who had their TV on in the early hours of the morning, bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper!

Perfect location close to the city centre. Parking on street available ! Clean and tidy with everything we needed.

The bed is two single beds. The £200 deposit taken from the account for potential accidents - a lot of money to be taken from account after purchase of the apartment. Possibly another way around this ?

great location and outside private area

the shower couldn’t come off the wall or be adjusted, which was a shame for my very short friend who wanted to shower without wetting hair

We were not given any breakfast as part of our stay. However the welcome bag was a very nice addition. The apartments were spacious and well heated. We were able to relax and have our open space despite harrassment from the neighbours.

We were there for a lot of work in the City Centre, and the description of this location being 5 minutes away from the City Centre was not accurate. It took us an hour and 15 mins to walk into the City Centre, but then also 20 mins to drive for others. We also kept receiving noise complaints from the Apartment next door despite us making minimal noise, or not even being in the Apartment.

The apartments have zero soundproofing! We had two ground floor apartments and we could hear EVERYTHING above us! We had such little sleep the whole weekend, it was like the above apartment was actually inside ours!
