We had the best time at Jack and Ruth’s beautiful sea pine home! We are already planning our return for next year. The views off the back deck are just so beautiful. Plenty of room for our large family. Plenty of cooking utensils for all of the meals we cooked. We enjoyed riding bikes, going to the beach, swimming in the pool, visiting the many parks and playgrounds on SSI. Nice communication with the home owners and they went above and beyond to be sure we had a great stay.

This was our second time in Ruth and Jack's home and it is a lovely, well cared for home. The kitchen is well equipped and well stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve food for 10-12 people if not more. The flatware, plates, glassware, pots and pans are of good quality (for adults and children) and there is ample space for food prep and storage. Appliances are clean and in good working order, plus a second fridge in the garage. The furnishings are all of good quality, as are the linens (we appreciated having high quality bedding-just like home!) The outdoor space is wonderful, plenty of room for everyone with the porch, the deck, the pool, and the dock. The location within Sea Pines is perfect and close to everything but so quiet and peaceful. Ruth and Jack care very much for their home and their guest's experience and it shows. Their home is clean, well maintained, and spacious enough to get some space from family members when needed, but also lots of areas to gather and play games or hang out and watch a movie. No matter the age of your family members, this home will meet your needs (there are highchairs, gate on deck stairs, crib). We would happily stay here again on our next visit to HHI!

The property was clean and adequate for our stay. The cookware and appliances were of acceptable quality. The location was nice and quiet, and reasonably convenient. Would stay again.

We enjoyed this rental home for our family vacation. The house has plenty of room, a great kitchen for enjoying meals (could use an update on pans and utensils) we enjoyed the screened porch, the swimming pool and the dock. The rockers out back were also a nice touch. The Thermostat was not the easiest to figure out so we had to contact the owners for guidance. The owners were attentive to our stay. They checked in a few times to see how everything was going. Even suggested some sites to check out around the island. Jack and Ruth are so kind. This was a very nice home with peaceful views of the tidal creek, a private salt water pool for relaxing, a well equipped kitchen for cooking, and a fabulous dining room table for eating meals together and playing cards. We took advantage of the great bike trails in Sea Pines and rode daily to the beach and Harbor Town (ice cream for breakfast!!). We are very appreciative that Jack and Ruth shared their comfortable home with our family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Our family stay at Jack and Ruth’s property was fabulous! Beautiful home in a great location. My single and only recommendation is the need for just a couple lounge chairs for the pool area. Will definitely stay here again! No need to search elsewhere. Thank you

We had a wonderful trip staying at this beautiful property. We have vacationed at houses with pools in the past, but the privacy surrounding this pool was outstanding! We enjoyed watching the tides go in and out off the dock and watching the birds stop by for a snack in the inlet out back. There was a lot of space for everyone to spread out and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners were very personable and checked to make sure everything was running smoothly. Truly a great vacation home!

House was as advertised. It was well stocked with all the necessities and many extra conveniences. We enjoyed the pool and the dock for fishing and crabbing. Great communication from the owners. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. We will definitely consider returning to this property.

Our family of six adults stayed for 8 nights. Plenty of space for all of us and the bedrooms are spread out to provide privacy. The owners were great to deal with and made sure our stay was perfect. Close to shopping, restaurants. Great neighborhood for walking and biking.

Jack and Ruth's home was very beautiful and spacious. The pool was a life saver during our stay since jellyfish were present at the beaches and we didn't want to get stung. The kitchen was well supplied and we had most of our meals home cooked. The back creek area was great for fishing and crabbing. Would definitely recommend!

The home exceeded all of our expectations. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children. The kitchen is well equipped which made it a pleasure to eat in each evening. The kids loved the pool. We had a very enjoyable week.

Property was great and pool was very relaxing. Plan ahead if going to Sea Pines area for groceries and restaurants. Area is very populated and can be difficult to fine locations to eat and shop comfortably.

This was our favorite vacation in HH! The home and area were perfect for our family. We have a teen and two toddlers and it was very kid friendly. We loved the pool and all the toys for them and it was extremely convenient that there were two cribs and two high chairs that we didn’t have to worry about packing. It is the perfect location, not far from the beach and not far from shopping. We rented bikes and used the trolley to get around. The Owners were amazing to work with and stayed in touch to make sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed! It felt like our home away from home and we didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be staying again in the future!

This was a very nice house in Sea Pines, Hilton Head. It had everything we needed and was nice and clean and nicely decorated. Its important to us to have a pool for the kids and they had a great time. About 1 mile bike ride from the beach. Our grandkids had fun playing with riding toys in garage and lots of children's books in the cupboard. Would love to stay here again.

My family's Thanksgiving week stay could not have been any better. During a time when all of us could not be more cautious (Covid), the tremendously clean, inviting, and entertaining home provided us a safe place to relax and enjoy. While the adults were amazed of the open, airy space as we walked through the door, the kids immediately fell in love with the fishing dock out back. Kitchen was supplied with any and every utensil, while the patio was utilized from morning to night. There was so much to do in the area as we took a tour of Harbour Town lighthouse, rented bikes, golfed, rode horses and visited the beach. Owners should be proud, and you will be overly satisfied with your choice in this Superb property!

Jack and Ruth were simply wonderful to work with. Our family loved the home and the property. We cooked in every night (well appointed kitchen!) and our family enjoyed the pool every day after the beach.

We absolutely loved our stay. The owners were so thoughtful, calling several times before we went to make sure we knew where things were on the island, had referrals for bike rentals and restaurants, etc. And the set up of the house was perfect for 2 families including a baby. Enjoyed every minute of it.

Our extended family of 10 (including 4 kids) spent a wonderful week at Hilton Head Island. My husband and cousin enjoyed the dock in the back and spent a few hours crabbing each day to supply us with the best blue crab dinners. The Adelson home had everything we could need and more to make and eat multiple meals at home. In addition, the kids loved all the games and puzzles at the house on the occasional rainy afternoon. We rented bikes and cycled all over the island (about 10-15 mins bike ride from either the beach or Harbour Town). Lawton Oaks was such a nice, calm neighborhood to return to after a day at the beach or at Harbour Town. This home provided respite and a haven for a perfect summer getaway. Thanks to Ruth and Jack for being the best hosts, very involved and accessible during our week's vacation!
