Easy to communicate. All the staff we dealt with in person and through messaging were fabulous and helpful. The location is excellent and we loved how easy it was to access. Yes a lot of stairs but that is to be expected!

The apartment was in the center of town and had a very good rooftop terrace.

The property was fine, once located. In fact, if you can locate it. Very ordinary directions and because of Amali’s geographics - it was behind google maps. We’re very experienced travelers and couldn’t locate the apartment. We had to be met at a nearby square and escorted to the apartment office. Our experience in Amalfi was spoiled by the by the fact that the apartment arranged transport simply failed to turn up. Whether the driver was late or the apartment staff gave the wrong pick up location was in dispute - but likely to have been both. Both parties were apologetic- but the bill was left to us. It was a very costly error by the apartment staff for us. Other travelers, bus staff and shop owners all told us transport was a nightmare in Amalfi. Taxi’s are in high demand and short supply. Lesson - don’t stay at Amalfi if you have a same day flight out from Naples. Stay closer to Naples. One day in Amalfi is plenty.

Great location, very large apartment, great facilities and spotlessly clean.

The view from the roof deck was fantastic, having a washing machine and clothesline was useful, Federika was extremely helpful in coordinating our late arrival and luggage, the location close to bus and restaurants was perfect.

89 steps from plaza to apartment — it was known ahead of time, but it was a challenge in reality. Hot water for showers was inconsistent.

The property was centrally located on Amalfi and easy to find. The apartment was full of all necessary amenities and a nice kitchen as well. The receptionist Federica was very helpful throughout the check-in process and ensuring I had a great stay.

The terrace is shared with the adjacent apartment.

The location and rooftop terrace were fantastic! The rooms were spacious and the facilities were great, and Joanna was very polite and helpful.

Only a minor issue in that the WiFi didn’t work over the weekend and the heating/AC was a little bit unreliable but other than that it was absolutely perfect!

We had a great view of the church, the town, the mountains and the ocean- incredible panoramic views from our terrace. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and pillows to match! we really couldn’t fault the property, or the stay! Will definitely stay here again.

Our mother and father in law didn’t like how many stairs there were to get to the apartment… but they’re old, and weren’t expecting it.. it didn’t bother us at all but it may be hard for people who have walking issues!

You can't beat this location. The rooftop terrace has the best views! The apartment was very clean, the kitchen stocked with everything you need, bathroom with plenty of towels and little soaps etc. We arrived very late with a car and Melissa met us at the Piazza, there was a guy who took our car and parked it at an off-site garage while she took us to the apartment. She helped us carry our bags up and filled us in on the area - stores, restaurants, ferries etc. She was extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again. You can't beat the views and location!

The apartment has a rooftop terrace which means it is on the top floor. There's about 50 steps to get to the apartment so if climbing is painful for you then this might not work.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The apartment was big, clean, modern and very comfortable! We had everything we needed. The location is great, a few steps from the main square and the Amalfi Cathedral! I would definitely stay there again.

The only thing I can say as a minus is the lack of parking nearby.

Amazing location, view and the place was very spacious and true to the pictures. Our host was extremely helpful and accommodating.

The stairs, it is quite a hike to get to the room but the view is amazing.

Very warm welcome from Carmen and Andrea who were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was traditional in style, very clean and in a great location in the heart of Amalfi. Lots of steps to get to the apartment but Andrea helped us with moving luggage. View from the roof terrace was spectacular.

A beautiful big apartment that was well above what we expected. Modern with everything you need and in a great location.

Could not fault anything except the additional charges associated with late arrival, which are not well advertised, including no arrival after midnight. Encountered same in Rome. Not sure why you can't invest in a lockbox with a combination code which is pretty common. But, this is a minor criticism for what is an exceptional apartment.

We were blown away when we saw the location - the rooftop terrace is out of this world, with uninterrupted views of the sea, Almalfi skyline and the cathedral. We could not have asked for a better spot, and felt so lucky. We were met at the ferry port by Andreas who helped us with the bags. Melissa was outstanding, and when my young daughter got sick on a weekend, she made sure we had a local Doctor come to our apartment to help us. Thank goodness for her support. This apartment has everything you need!

Spacious, well-equipped apartment with air conditioning. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic location - 2 mins from the central piazza and 4-5 mins from the beach/buses/ferries. Although it was just me with my daughter, it's big enough to sleep 7 so would be great to come again with more family/friends. The Amalfitano Apartments team - Giouanna, Carmen and Andrea – were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The location was great, easy to reach from the port and the bus station, and in the city center. The apartment was newly furbished and, despite a minor problem with the hot water (quickly fixed), all was great. The receptionist Giovanna was very helpful with booking restaurants for us and providing great tips for activities in the area.

It was a bit noisy, especially in the early morning. Check carefully the apartment you are booking, not all have a big terrace and the sea view -- the position was convenient anyway.

you won’t be able to find a better place! comfortable, with everything you need for a perfect stay! and the most beautiful terrace… Giovanna…was the perfect host. She helps you with everything: dinner reservations, airport transfer, boat rental. we stay at the Mare apartment and they help us with our luggage (you have to climb 80 stairs total, from the plaza level) but the view is worth it!

We liked it very much. It was the most perfect location, just a minute from the cathedral, and very close to all shops and restaurants. Everything you need is in the area: museums, restaurants, super markets, fruit markets, gelato etc. It was just under five minute walk to the ferry station which was amazing. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Super clean apartment, with everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. The most wonderful stay! Truly recommend.

The only downside was that there was no cleaning.
