The cabin was great! Plenty of room and matched the description online perfectly. We loved it! The kitchen was extremely well stocked, we didn’t need anything. All the appliances have been updated. The three king beds were very comfy. The two large decks were perfect...we saw five bears while eating supper over the course of a few days!The only real negatives: the view of the mountains is now hindered by trees...still a great view but harder to see the mountains than shown in the photos, the tvs, didn’t really work well at all. There are signs that say the cabin only has satellite internet which is only good for checking emails...but no streaming...it was slow. But I was able to log into Netflix on the main took awhile, but it did finally load. The alarm system didn’t work.

Cabin was in a beautiful location! We had a few faucets that leaked. The washer also had an issue as well as the oven. We were hoping that the fireplace worked as the sign said it was seasonal October through March, but it was already disconnected.

This property is wonderful. It was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. There was a water filtration system through the fridge, so no need to bring drinking water. While well equipped, there was no salt & pepper, so bring your own seasonings. There was a Keurig coffee maker. The oven & microwave were spotless. Three large King suites accommodated our family of five. Bring your own hair dryer and towels for the hot tub. The stars were amazing & we enjoyed sitting on the wrap around deck, enjoying the expansive views. We even saw deer walk on the property. There were neighboring cabins, but the properties were private. The only negatives for us were the garbage out the back (discarded beer cans & litter), the alarm system was not functioning and Smart TVs that had outdated instructions. We were unable to get the TVs to work & found the electronics in the theater room had been completely disconnected. However, the staff were responsive & came out the following day. We toured downtown Gatlinburg, visited the Aquarium, shopped the outlets and hiked in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I would recommend Elk Springs.

Just spent our 4th year weekend in this same cabin! That should tell you. So close to all of the happening, yet away from it all. Very clean. Absolutely better than booking a hotel. Looking forward to year 5 next November!

We enjoyed 4 nights in this lovely cabin, making the most of all facilities. Cabin breaks like this are more common in the US than in Great Britain (where we are from) so it was something totally different for us. It’s good value as well, especially if you max the occupancy, which we didn’t, enjoying the space and peacefulness instead.

We loved this cabin! The view was beautiful and it was far enough away from downtown that you could enjoy the quietness and not have to worry about traffic trying to get to the cabin. We will definitely be staying here again and hopefully bring more of our family as the cabin was very spacious! The beds were all so comfortable. The only thing I would probably change is there was not a fan in one of the rooms but it was manageable. They had some games and puzzles in the living room that our family enjoyed too!

Location was beautiful and the cabin nice with an amazing view. There was a major leak from the shower upstairs. We called maintenance and the response was, all of our cabins are like this. My husband is a general contractor and told them what was wrong with it. They did come out and fix it but we used our towels to clean up the mess and our bags and clothes were soaked. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the linens. The sheets were worn out, they had the pilling of the fabric and it was not comfortable sleeping on the fuzz balls. Comforters we're not clean. The towels were so rough it felt like it was taking your skin off when you dried off. I have never stayed at a cabin or Airbnb that did not furnish you basics. There were a very minimal amount of basics provided, as in toilet paper, soap, paper towels etc. there were also very poor quality, worn out pots and pans. I think there might be a bedbug problem or I was ate up on the deck with some type of insects. My sister in-law and I both have bites up and down our legs and arms.

I so much want to recommend this cabin to others but can only do so with two warnings people should know about: 1. Its quite a drive up. Be prepared for feeling a bit uneasy with the drive up and down.2. It is next door to the Gatlinburg Mansion where they have parties. One night they were BLASTING music until well past midnight which made it very hard to sleep. This is maybe not the best place if you are looking for all peace and quiet. Those to things aside, the cabin is amazing as are the views.

Honestly, Wasn't worth the $3600. Our power was off multiple times (weather wasn't even that bad) cabins above and below us had power. Friday night at midnight into Saturday morning power went off for 7 hours. Cabin reached 51 degeees. Saturday power was off for an hour after it had came back on shortly. Christmas morning woke up to no power. Went on 4 hours without power and still was off so we left 2 day early. We weren't able to cook for Christmas. Pipes froze over Thursday night due to no insulation on electric water pump so maintenance installed some friday afternoon. Sky lights were leaking water as the weather got warmer. You could feel strong drafts along all the windows of cold air coming in. One of the rooms was so cold there was frost on the inside windows. Owners of cabin did not properly equipped this cabin for cold. It's their responsibility to have the property ready for any weather when guests are paying almost $4k for a 6 day stay.

We had a great 2nd visit at this cabin. We love the location just outside of Gatlinburg. (20 minute drive) This cabin is perfect for out family as we enjoy the secluded down time after busy days/evenings enjoying Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Dollywood/Outdoors. My only disappointment this year was that the Christmas Tree was not up like it was the year before. We visit each year after Thanksgiving but before Christmas and the lit tree being on each evening as we came back to the cabin was sorely missed. See you next year!!!

There was 4 of us in the cabin was nice and quiet relaxing get away for all of us just what we needed. Close to entertainment and shopping Also close to hiking and recreational activities too. The downside to the place was the hot tub quit working and the place needed a really good deep clean the windows that are hard to reach were dirty and cobwebs were in the high areas too. Other then that it was cleaned well.

We came down to see the Fall colors. Absolutely beautiful. We went to the Foothills Parkway. Discovered restaurants we didn't know about. Found lots of stuff we didn't know about. The cabin was awesome. A bear even came into the field behind the cabin on the last night we stayed. Lots of great pictures on my phone and camera.

We enjoyed our family vacation in. Gatlinburg. Overall the Knotty Pine Delight cabin provided a good stay. It was roomy and the downstairs provided a separate unit for privacy. Sitting on the deck was quite enjoyable and the jacuzzi was relaxing. We played a lot of pool. The one thing that was a challenge is the the turn down into the driveway. In the dark you had to be really careful so you didn’t drive over the hill. The views are beautiful but the main windows needed cleaned or maybe the seals on the windows need fixed.

The cabin was nice but had issues with the hot tub, but they got it fixed. We didn’t have a very good time because of so many bear around and just couldn’t set outside and enjoy the view and relax, I would suggest a bear gate of some sort for this cabin.

The customer service was top notch and made sure we had all that we needed. The views in this cabin were amazing. We had a great week with much needed family time.
