Overall, the stay was great. Location absolutely perfect as it’s walking distance to whatever you may need on the island. Julianne communicated very well with us as we did have a few issues arise. Beds were very comfortable and we all really enjoyed the outside shower after full days at the beach. The pool was nice and warm. The entire patio area is very inviting with all of the plants in the seating. I would certainly return for weekend trip with close friends.

the property is situated in a calm and peaceful neighborhood, perfectly close to everything but not too close. The home is as described, comfortable, clean, and modern. The host had everything we needed as far as kitchen appliances, dishes, utensils, etc… grabbed some groceries and was pretty well set. The small market nearby has quite a few staples and other than that a larger market isn’t that far away. The pool is perfect size and the beach a short walk down the street. The host was easily reached for questions and was super nice to deal with. I would stay again if we travel to the area again.

We loved our stay at House 203. The design was so calm and relaxing. The style of everything was very spa-like, really made it feel like a vacation. We spent most of our time in the pool. Also loved the short walk to grocery store, the beach, and the Tybee main strip. Neighbors were so friendly and Julianne was great! Thank you!

We stayed Thursday-Tuesday May 11-16th. It was the perfect time to go (as told by locals because it was between spring break and school closing). The house is just wonderful. Of course, the pool was vital! We utterly enjoyed the unfolding of the social network of the birds in the yard. You will see what I mean! The location is perfect. Couldn't say enough great things. We had everything we needed to just relax and enjoy Tybee!! Thanks so much Julianne!

As emptynesters who work long hours, we were looking for a quiet place where we could just chill. We found it! This fabulous home had EVERYTHING! Beach chairs and towels and even a wagon to pull them on the short walk to the beach. We spent mornings on the beautiful beach, afternoons floating in the pool and evenings riding the (provided bikes) to catch amazing sunsets. This house is yummy icing on the delicious cake that is Tybee! I could go on and on with how much we loved it, but suffice it to say, we live minutes from SC's beaches and are already planning our return to this house!

My boys got a kick out of the record player. We enjoyed some great family time together listening to music and just hanging out. The location is just perfect. It’s close to the beach and the park. Of course, you could just stay in the pool.

Our family had a great visit to Tybee Beach. This house is in a super location! Only a short walk to the beach and the grocery store with only a little further walk to many great restaurants and shops. The house is as described in the listing and was comfortable for our family of 4. Having the extra towels and two bikes provided was a big plus. We paid to have the pool heated with cooler temps this time of year. The pool was actually the selling point for us on this home, unfortunately the heater wasn't working at times. Communication with Julianne was great during our stay even regarding issues with the pool heater. We would stay here again! Just wish the pool would have stayed heated.

The perfect house for a getaway. Pick up fresh bagels and cream cheese from the Surfing Goat after your walk on the beach, then put some records on the turntable and relax in the inside/outside sunroom. You could happily fill the rest of your day in the pool and backyard. Well worth the drive from Canada.

House was amazing. Probably not great for small children because of the concrete floors. Pool was perfectly heated. The host was very helpful and informative. Kept us advised of a boil water notice that we would have not been aware of. Easy walk to the beach. Quiet neighbourhood.

We vacationed on the island for the first time with our family of 5. We had plenty of space and the property is very conveniently located close to the beach. Our kids loved the pool and their bunk bed room.

Our stay was wonderful! The house was super clean and updated with everything we needed. Check in was easy and communication with the host was excellent. The beach was great, never crowded, and just a short walk away. The outdoor shower was a great place to rinse off before we jumped in the pool every single day! The neighborhood is friendly and the grocery store is literally steps away. The two bikes there were perfect for exploring. Tybee is full of cute shops and good restaurants!

Lovely pool, great hosts (responsive and accommodating), helpful neighbors, great location (one block from the IGA, 2 from the beach). Kids room has bunk beds with the lower bunk being double. The sofa bed in the sunroom would be too cold or hot, depending on the season, otherwise the grandpatents could join you ... I would move the sofa bed to the living room. TV has Netflix, Disney etc. Nice vinyl collection to play on the turntable! Pool side Bluetooth Bose speaker, beach toys, pool toys, sun umbrella, 2 adult bikes, and some small paddle boards. Washer/dryer, filtered fridge water (have you tasted the water in tybee?), and an American drip coffee maker plus European style cafetière. Beach towels, pool towels and house towels. Nice touches. Take the trash out early if you want to catch the garbage truck on Tuesday and Friday. Set your alarm for sunrise and enjoy that at the beach. It's lovely.

This wonderful house with cool furnishings and beautiful outdoors spaces was the perfect home base for an adult family trip! Easy walk to the beach, fun sunroom and pool area to hang out and an easy 25 minute drive to downtown Savannah if you want to explore. Owner was great at communicating and was readily available for questions. Would definitely recommend!!

We fell in love with the house and the Island <3 It was a perfect family vacation spot with so much to do. The personal pool was so warm and the kids loved it. We can't wait to come back!

Property is very modern with a great floor plan. Two bed, two bath felt bigger than the square footage. The indoor/covered patio/pool area was a great place to both enjoy and relax.

We had a great time in Tybee and this house was a great home base to explore it all. We spent a ton of time at the beach, but really enjoyed the mornings and evenings by the pool. Super relaxing. We had everything we needed to grill out a couple nights we were there and loved the extras like bikes and beach gear. We are looking at dates to return for next year and can’t wait to stay here again.

What am amazing house. It does not get any better then this, A pool, 2 blocks to the beach, two cruiser bikes, a wagon to haul everything to the beach, a boogie board pool toys I can go on and on there is not one thing I can think of that was not at the house. And of course Scrabble the perfect game at the end of a relaxing day at the beach. The check-in and check out process was a breeze. Thank you for allowing us to experience your wonderful home. Needless to say we will be back!

We had a great family Spring Break on Tybee Island. We absolutely loved the house for our family of 4. The kids could have stayed in the pool for days!. It was one of the best parts of the trip. Julianne was great to work with, and extremely responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again when we return to Tybee Island.

There is a lot to love about the Modernist House on Tybee Island. First, our family (2 adults, 2 kids) were drawn to the private pool and location proximity. We booked in January 2021 for a June 2021 vacation and this booking kept us going through the hard winter months of pandemic. We wanted private access to pool and dwelling. While I would have loved to give this house 5 stars across the board, I'm compelled to give a balanced review based on our experience. I'll start with the good stuff: - Location, location, location - super walkable to grocery store, and not far walk to the beach (obviously we knew it was not oceanfront). Note you have to cross a major four lane road - not fun with kids and beach gear in tow. - Private Pool = awesome. We had the pool to ourselves. More time was spent at pool than at beach. - Seating and Dining options were great. Okay, so for the Cons: - Communication: Prior to our stay, owner sent e-mail to me asking "I have a totally random question for you. Would you be willing to modify your vacation plans..." , when I replied initially with no and the reasons why, she replied "Ok. Bummer. Thanks. I was going to give you a night for free but doesn’t seem like this will work out." It didn't feel like there was professionalism in the communication. - Guest shower, the water took over 15 minutes to become lukewarm. I messaged the owner, and she said to keep waiting. So we waited. Eventually the water was warmed up, but whole week we never got a "hot shower". - Kitchen Dishwasher, didn't seem to work even after reading the online operators manual we were able to find. We got a message that said "The dishwasher is not easy to use. Everyone has issues with it, including us. Please call/text if you have problems." Not worth me calling. - Hot water in kitchen sink is non-existent. The sink was installed in such a way that the faucet knob cannot fully turn to hot. So, most of our dishes were handwashed in cold water. - House was lived in. Bad stains on the couch. Broken towel hooks. No one cleaned under bed and couch (dusty, leftover sock / toy) - Cockroach greeted us on day one - you will need the random fly swatter on the wall. It was randomly hung and seemed "off-brand" Overall - we loved the pool and the location. It was the best Tybee had to offer. I guess when I think Modern home, I think clean, crisp - and I was a little bummed. We had a great time nonetheless.

This was such a fantastic home and location! It was so great that there were days we didn't go out and just stayed in for pool days and relaxing. It was so much more than we imagined and will definitely go back! You will not be disappointed! Thank you for everything!!
