We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! What better place to relax and enjoy family than right on Lake Norman. The accommodations of the home fit our needs perfectly and working with the owner was easy and delightful! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!

This had all we needed. My kids wanted to spend their Christmas with my parents aa wwll as each other. We were able to do thar. There waa ample room for everyone and the view waa lovely even with the rain. We would love to stay again.

We, 10 cousins, made a visit to our relatives living in the neighborhood. The property was a perfect match to our needs!

My family met up in the area for Thanksgiving and this house was a great place for hosting. All was comfy, lots of space and a beautiful view. I'd stay there again if in the area. Neighborhood was nice for walking and the young adults enjoyed taking the canoe out on the lake.

The property and neighborhood was very nice, quiet and clean. We enjoyed the deck and outdoors. We were extremely happy with everything about the stay.

This waterfront property in Mooreville is fantastic. Check-in was straightforward; locate the keys, and you're in. With both the first and second floors at our disposal, featuring several beds, we made extensive use of the kitchenware and cooking range for our late brunches and dinners. It was probably the first time we utilized the kitchen to this extent, including making pizza in the oven. Access to stores and restaurants requires a car, but for our group of six friends, the property was ideal. We spent the entire night playing poker and watching games on TV. Martin kindly allowed us to stay beyond the checkout time due to our late departures from NC. Overall, it added another beautiful memory to our list. Highly recommended.

This property was perfect for our family of 9 adults and an 18 month old. The house was clean with plenty of space to sit and relax together. Ample table seating allowed for home cooked family meals, and the view of the lake is spectacular! We would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our girl's weekend away at this property. The family room is very large and the furniture is comfortable. The beds are comfortable. The only weird part is the two single beds are located in an open area upstairs. That was no problem for us but could be an issue for others. The kitchen was well stocked. However, it doesn't include all the extras that most of the places I stay have, such as toilet paper, little soaps, etc. Check-in and checkout were extremely easy. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at your place. The view was fantastic and we enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out over the water. There was plenty of room for us all with good amenities. We also enjoyed exploring the area and liked several different restaurants, including Carusos which was our favorite. We even rented a platoon boat for a couple of days so we could explore the lake and do a little fishing. All in all a great vacation.

This was pretty cool. It worked out for us without a doubt. Don't know what else to say; we had a good time at the property.

We had a great week at Lake Norman. Having a launch right on property made getting the boat in the water easy. There is a beautifully landscaped yard with plenty of trees for shade. The house had lots of room for everyone. The Martin's are wonderful hosts!

The location on the lake is perfect. I always rent a pontoon boat and this property has an ample dock…..and diving board. My impression is the house is an original build from the 60s. Relatively clean and easy to access. Had plenty of space for our group. My nephew has a young family and they very much enjoyed the space above the garage. I would book this property again.

The house was nice, great set up for a family gathering, we had 7 people and there was plenty of room to spread out, could easily fit more. The kitchen had everything we needed. The first floor living space and back deck were open and spacious with plenty of seating for a nice afternoon cookout with friends. Thank you for a great visit!

Overall we enjoyed our trip. Hosted a girls weekend and the location and proximity to the lake were great. House was spacious with lots of beds and bathrooms. Beds are firmer and comfy but bring your own pillow! Our only issue was lack of Wifi for the first day and no hot water. We did not have hot water in the main house for our entire stay. On the second day we noticed the loft was the only place that had hot water. All guests had to take turns using 1 shower which was not ideal. Host was very responsive up until we had hot water issues. This is really the only reason to give less than 5 stars.

This home met all our needs including parents, grandparents and children. Although it rained for most of our stay, the house and grounds are well maintained and attractive. The zoned heating/cooling, downstairs vs. upstairs, was appreciated. Our only suggestion is to adjust the scald guard setting on the downstairs master bedroom bathroom shower faucet to allow for warmer water shower.

Perfect property for our relaxing, but too short, stay to meet up with Georgia, Pennsylvania and Maryland mom and sisters getaway. Check-in was simple, communication with the owners was quick and reaponsive.

We had a packed wedding schedule and wish we could have enjoyed this beautiful home more. Our only suggestion would be a keypad entry where the access code could be changed after each guest instead of using a physical key. We had lots of moving parts, and our bride ended up stranded for about 20 minutes in January when she returned before the rest of us without a key.

The house sits right on the lake. It comfortably slept our family with large living spaces. It had a nice fire pit and deck. Great place.

Easy process. The property was clean, cozy and delivered as promised.

This is a very nice property with beautiful views. There was plenty of room for my family.

Four couples met for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. The suite over the garage was used by one couple instead of using the walkthrough bedroom, but that would have been convenient if we had any children with us. The view was lovely and the heater on the back porch knocked off the chill perfectly! Would stay again.
