Cannot beat this location....take the kayaks or paddleboards and paddle around Dinner Island....watch Sunrise....at night enjoy open view of the sky for Stars....easy access to get into the water....Nigel (owner) very responsive for any issues....town only few mins away...this is the best location we have had on SJI

We had a great time exploring the island and using this beautiful house as a home base. We cooked a lot and had almost everything we needed in the kitchen. The views are spectacular and the kayaks worked great. THANK YOU for a wonderful vacation!

Wonderful week in the Green House! Fully equipped and well furnished. Very comfortable for our family of 5 adults and an infant.

Lovely views, quiet, convenient to the cute town of Friday Harbor. We had two amazing dinners - Duck Soup and Downriggers. Went whale watching and saw orcas, sea lions, seals and lots of great birds. Enjoyed birding/photography at the American Camp (also saw the black foxes!), July 4th Beach and Lime Kiln Park, as well as at the house and around the island. A super fun visit!

This is a wonderful home that is spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The views are spectacular and it was easy to get around the island from here.

We loved everything about this property. Easy check in with great communication from the property manager. The house was beautiful - clean, great views, well furnished. We BBQ'd and used the kitchen and it had every cooking tool you could possibly want! The best part was the bonfire and water views. My young kids had a great time playing on the beach and warming up by the fire. We will definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this property -- great layout for a multi-generational family trip! We had my parents, myself and my husband, and our two-year-old son staying for several days. We loved the views, the yard, using the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, and the house was well-stocked with kitchen supplies and a game cupboard. My son loved what he called "the silly room" upstairs with a little reading nook and great water views. Great location minutes from Friday Harbor but very private as well and easy water access.

After a multi-day kayak adventure this was the PERFECT spot to relax and recharge in! It was extremely comfortable, accommodating, clean, and well layed out. We only wish we had more time to spend here to take in the amazing atmosphere.

This beautiful home was perfect for our family get together. Our adult children enjoyed the kayaks while the huge backyard was perfect for our 3 year old grandson to run and play. We sat by the fire in the evenings, played corn hole and had great meals outside. Close to Friday Harbor with all the shops and grocery made it such a convenient location. Thank you Nigel for a dream vacation rental that we'll never forget.

Great location: unobstructed view of bay and close enough to town. Being close to San Juan Bakery is a big plus too. We saw seals, porpoise, otters and lots of different birds. Host was very responsive and kitchen was well-appointed.

Easy check in and out, very responsive property manager, and everything we needed in the house. Green House was comfortable and clean, with gorgeous views from all over. Early mornings on the deck were a perfect way to wake up. The beach was not a walking beach, as the neighbors do not want anyone on their beach, but we found tons of seaglass, and kayaked around Dinner Island with the otters. 4th of July Beach is a very short drive away if you want to walk at low tide, or explore tide pools. A great homebase to explore San Juan Island.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and clean, and it had all the amenities we needed, including in the bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. We loved watching the sunrise and sitting outside by the sea, with a wonderful view of the waves and surrounding islands. Our host was highly responsive and available, if needed.

We enjoyed our short vaca to Friday Harbor at the Beach Guest House with an unobstructed view of the water. A nonstop panoply of wildlife from Bald Eagles, Snow Geese, Canadian Geese, ducks, and sea otters all enjoying the quiet. We went to rest and rest we did. The owner has the check-in/check-out process down to a minimal amount of effort. And was responsive to our on-sight queries. Blankets and a fire pit were used and enjoyed. Bakery is about 1.3 miles away; grocery/drug store 1.5miles We look forward to returning.

I can’t recommend this property highly enough. Our experience was top notch from the day I made the booking until the morning we drove out for the last time. Nigel was very receptive to any questions I had via the VRBO site. He sent pertinent information about the home and Friday Harbor prior to our date of arrival. And then we arrived… the house is fabulous. It’s just what it looks like in the pictures. It’s pleasing to the eye and a very, very comfortable spot to call home. It was extremely clean! We used the deck and yard leading to the water for both morning coffee and evening cocktails. I’m going to repeat myself… if your looking for a home on the water which is in close proximity to Friday Harbor ( 5 minute drive) don’t look any further. Book this house!

The view was amazing and house was excellent for 3 couples. Kitchen was well stocked and Nigel gave us great recommendations. We will be back to enjoy more of San Juan Island.

House is nice and convenient to town. Very comfortable house. Only downside close to airport. Luckily only small planes. Did not disrupt sleep.

They went out on the kayaks and paddle boards each day and out by the island, saw seals, and jellyfish en route. The house was nicely appointed and worked well for us. It's clearly aging in a few areas (cabinetry, deck doors, bathrooms)---it feels like it's about 20-25 years old (which you can't quite make out in the pics)---but is pretty well kept up. The grounds and deck are wonderful! And it's so convenient to get to town! All in all, we'd return. A note for future visitors: If you're bringing a car over, make a reservation well in advance online (they do 1/3 months before, 1/3 two weeks before, and 1/3 two days before), and if you're coming standby, get in line 2-3 hours early and go and explore once you have your spot! Also note that there is only bus service from Anacortes to SEA. No Ubers or taxis made for a challenging trip for some of our young adults. Also make dinner reservations a couple weeks before you come; restaurants are very busy and close with the last ferry out (about 8:00). Lastly, we had a blast all on Susie's Mopeds, taking the whole day to explore the island. Glorious!

We very much enjoyed our stay, property has an amazing view and the kids loved playing in the yard and the beach and making s'mores in the fire pit.

We came to the island for a large family wedding and the house and surroundings were ideal. The house had everything you needed and the location was close to town . The corn hole game was a bonus! Nigel was great at communicating.

We had a great weekend at this beach house! The view was fantastic, everything was clean and communication with Nige was prompt and easy!
