We were very comfortable and loved the variety of movies and books available to watch and read. It was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go, the house never felt too far out of the way. You have a view of LA and the Hollywood sign right from the driveway. Highly recommend staying here.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. Frances was a fantastic host. She was prompt on replying to all our inquiries. Her property was breathtaking. Beautiful landscaping everywhere. Extremely quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. The interior was exquisite. Old Hollywood vibes but very modern and bright. So much natural light. Well appointed furnishings. She thought of everything. We will definitely be back. Thank you again Frances!!

The house and location were excellent. Our family had a great time visiting friends and attending and wedding — and this was a great home base. We especially loved the garden and sitting outside on the patio.

We loved the location of the house - close to local attractions. Host was very quick to respond. House was very clean and had all appliances needed - coffee machine, blender. The view of Hollywood was amazing.

My husband and I stayed here with our three kids. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Frances was such a great host, and easy to get a hold of when I had a question. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

A beautiful, quiet, calming place to stay. It is a perfect location with just about everything you could ever imagine needing, spotless house, cushy beds, fluffy towels, efficient kitchen, flooded with daylight throughout. The online description and pictures are absolutely accurate. A thousand movies on DVD if you want. A gorgeous garden where birds, bees and blue bellies (small lizards) welcome you, though Allen the hummingbird does want you to know that the flowers belong to him. The owner communicates almost instantly. Unless you absolutely cannot tolerate a couple miles of twisty roads to reach it, this is the perfect place to both be in LA and escape from it. Live like a star in the Hollywood hills!

The house was a super cute bungalow in the Hollywood Hills. It had everything we needed for our short stay. We enjoyed watching movies from the huge collection and checking out the memorabilia. Frances was professional and easy to communicate with. The new flooring is beautiful. I wish we would have had been able to stay longer and will reserve again if we return to LA.

Beautifully situated in the hills with a cool vibe. We loved the decor and bedding. Little kitchen with everything to make our breakfasts.

Frances is a wonderful host with a beautiful, quiet home tucked in the magical Hollywood Hills! Communication was top notch throughout the process, the house was well appointed with everything we needed to enjoy a week of vacation. Parking was a breeze, and the view of the Hollywood sign was incredible. My husband and I had a wonderful time picking something to watch from the extensive DVD collection and visiting the gorgeous garden out back. We cannot wait to book this gem of a property again. I highly recommend this house that is nestled beautifully in the Hollywood Hills. The house is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings but is less than 10 minutes away from Hollywood life. The house is immaculately clean with all the home comforts anyone could require, a comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and if you have time, lots of DVDs and interesting books to read all about Hollywood. Great little private two bedroom one bath space. Easy $10-$15 Uber to just about anywhere in the Hollywood area. Highly recommend.

My family of 4 stayed here at this perfect location and had a great time! Tucked away on a dead end street away from the hustle and bustle of the city with privacy. Also, a short walk to Runyon Canyon where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Hollywood hills. An experience to remember for a lifetime!

Place was great!! The outside was beautiful with plety of flowers and views!! The inside was decorated well with all kinds of movie memorabilia. Beds were comfy too. Frances was a great host. Would definately reccomend and rent again

My husband I recently took my elderly dad to do some site seeing in LA. So the house was perfect for us three. Ms. Frances was amazing! Great communication from the minute I booked. I received all the necessary information within days of booking. The house had everything we needed. The location was great. We were close to almost all main attractions. The place was clean and super private.. I did wish the TV’s were smart TV’s for some streaming, but it did provide local cable and a great selection of DVD’s. Definitely recommend and definitely will keep in my mind when I return.

Owner insisted I introduce myself and my children. No thermostat as advertised, misleading bc no central air. One wall mounted AC in small bedroom, one in LR none in the master, making it uninhabitable in summer. No top sheets on the beds, just hot duvets, terribly uncomfortable in the summer. The people in the master got very little sleep at all. We had to rotate between too hot with no AC or eventually getting too cold if we left it running at night. I did not see any grill as advertised. Privacy was a HUGE issue and I received politely framed but annoying nit picky emails about leaving the AC on for my dog when we stepped out, and parking, which was extremely tight and we could barely open our doors, straight into poisonous oleander bushes my kids struggled to avoid. Bathroom window has no screen and the lock appears to be broken. There is no fan or other way to get rid of moisture. Kitchen had about 4 plates, 5 bowls, 6 forks and spoons, so hand washing or running the dishwasher a lot. The photos of the full dish cupboard are inaccurate. One of the bedrooms has no light on the switch, just a small broken table lamp. all cords from TV were constantly disconnected and not functioning, every time we wanted to watch TV we had to do 20 minutes of replugging in cords and switching between Roku and another service. fridge doesn't fit in the kitchen, a person has to squeeze in. Out of space, more to say....

I stayed here for three nights with my two teenage sons. Perfectly situated for visiting Los Angeles, and the apartment (more a self contained villa really) was beautiful, well equipped and in a amazing and safe neighbourhood. It even had a small private garden area (saw a hummingbird amongst the flowers) and a sun trap courtyard. 100% would recommend staying here and I would stay there again should I ever return. Host contact was superb. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

A lovely bungalow nestled in the Hollywood hills. Perfect for a respite from the hustle of LA.

We travelled with our kids (14, 14 & 17) and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Lots of room for all of us, never felt cramped. The listing is 100% accurate, beautiful outdoor & indoor spaces…not to mention a view of the Hollywood sign right from the driveway. The location in the Hollywood Hills was perfect. Secluded, yet less than 10 mins to Hollywood Boulevard and Universal Studios. Frances was very helpful and sweet. We would love to stay again.

Frances’ place was the perfect home base for our family vacation. Location was convenient to tourist attractions as well as practical needs like Target and grocery stores and we had everything we needed for meals, coffee, etc. The beds were super comfortable and my teens enjoyed all the movies and memorabilia while my husband and I appreciated the gorgeous views and secluded feel. Absolutely would stay here again!

Cute place for our family of 4. We loved the location, so close (if you have a car) to Universal, the Chinese theatre, walk of fame. Pretty garden to enjoy a beer and look at the hills after a day of sightseeing. Great views of downtown at night and the Hollywood sign in day. Look forward to staying here again!
