Wonderful!

Property needs updates but view is amazing. Unfortunately one traveler’s passport was missing. We checked out and filled a police report. We were invited to come back and look for the passport. We were told that since the place had not yet been clean out of courtesy we could stay until our rebooked flight the next day. Upon waking up we were told that we should pay for an extra night. We did not bring any bags back on and stayed in town till well after 3AM. We met with the manager at 6:30 am. Since most of our party left we would have made more reasonable accommodations for one night had the owner said he wanted to charge us for the extra night. What appeared to be a nice gesture now feels like a blackmailing. Not a good experience.

Pretty much love everything about the villa! The best location, easy access to Philipsburg for restaurants, shopping, and beaches. French side is a short drive away also. Property manager as well as owners were easily accessible. Wonderful vacation! Thank you.

My family (of 5) recently stayed at fleur de mer. The pictures give a completely accurate idea of what the location looks like, no surprises. What a great location, the views of the ocean are amazing, views from every bedroom. We never used the air conditioning, the breeze off the ocean keep us cool during the night. The main patio is a dream; we spent most of our time there staring out at the Atlantic. The villa has pretty much everything you need, as well as some great extra’s like pool towels and chairs for the beach. There is a ton of space, which is nice when when you come with a big group. Phillipsburg is only a 6 min drive away and the nearest grocery store, Mr K’s is literally a 2 min drive (try his ham and cheese croissants, so good). Marie the property manager was GREAT, always available when needed if anything came up. The owner is also very accessible and gave us an introductory phone call a week before we came, really great touch! Some things to note: The island is still recovering from the hurricane, but most of the beaches, at least on the Dutch side are back in action. French side seems to still be struggling a bit, in Grand Case some structures that look pretty rough. With that in mind we still had an amazing time., we spent quite a few days at the pool, you really do not want to leave that view. Mosquitoes were pretty aggressive while we were there, and due to the open concept of the villa we got bit pretty bad. The villa kindly provides repellant, but if you allergic like my sister is, you definitely want to make sure you have your medication with you. Bring a sweater! The breeze is cooling during the day, and can get a little chilly at night, but that may be due to the time of year.

Great location to town and thing to do. The house was very open to the ocean breeze, with the views from the deck and great pool. We visited various other islands with the easy ferry system. I would go back, great place to relax or head into town for shopping and adventure.

Everything was spacious and clean; there were plenty of towels and linens; even a cooler and beach chairs for our use. The porch had the beautiful view you see in the photos. Marie was a great onsite host and was very welcoming and accommodating. Plenty of privacy here yet we felt connected to the owner if we needed to contact him for any thing at a moment's notice.

It was a wonderful time at Fleur de Mer Villa. We were welcomed when we arrived with an escorted drive to the villa where a gift basket, wine and beer awaited us. The villa is spacious, well maintained, and extremely comfortable. The view of the ocean and St. Bart’s from the covered deck is simply breathtaking. The pool is a wonderful amenity. Started each day with a swim. I would recommend Fleur de Mer to anyone. Thanks for everything Jon and Sianna.

This villa has everything to dream about. The property is amazing with an unbelievable view. The owner and management team is always on the ready but yet allows for complete privacy.

Our stay at this villa overlooking the bay continues to be the best medicine for any stress that life tosses our way. Wow. This place really puts a smile on the face and brings us back again and again. The rooms are large and welcoming. It is a great secluded launch pad for adventures around the island. The pool is a great place to relax and gaze forever at the bay and blue skies. When clouds and warm rains roll in, we really enjoy the sweet smells and breezes that stream through the windows. There is no negative experience to be found here. We recommend this place to anyone who needs to sidestep normal life stresses for a while!

What a wonderful place to stay! This is our second time in this villa and we love it even more the second time. The view is amazing and the breezes from the sea keep us coming back. The layout of the villa is spacious and comfortable, and we spent a lot of time in the pool looking out at the sea, relaxing. The terrace facing the water is a lovely place for enjoying meals and refreshment, or for just reading a book after a day exploring the island. Beds and furniture are comfortable and the villa is well equipped. The location is convenient to downtown, yet isolated enough to get away from the hubbub of the city. A gem!

Fantastic view with plenty of room. The evening breeze is amazing. Nice pool with complete privacy. Gated access to property in an exclusive neighborhood but yet only minutes to anywhere.

The villa was clean, comfortable and spacious. Located in a lovely neighborhood, it has breathtaking views of the beach and ocean. Ideal for couples, but also large enough for family get-aways. Owners added a nice touch by providing a cell phone for local calls and a welcome basket. Will definitely recommend!

From the start of our vacation Jon and his wife Sianna made us feel at home by having their property manager meeting us at the air port and escorting us to our villa,and he took us around the villa showing us the in side and out side. The pool was private we love that the bed was very comfortable the view was very very beautiful the villa was every thing that was describe on the web site. Restaurant and Bars and supermarkets all close by walking trails as well. We loved it very much and planed to return again .Thank You Jon and Sianna . Anna and Anthony

We have stayed on St. Martin many times but we have to say this villa was a great "find". It is in a quiet area, easily accessible to restaurants, shopping, beaches, hiking and groceries. The villa was clean, comfortable, roomy and the view just awesome. The large pool was sparkling clean and we enjoyed it everyday after a day of sight-seeing, shopping or hiking. The Butterfly Farm and the Bird Park/Parotte Ville were delightful, we loved them (best to go early in the day to Butterfly Farm and Bird Park). The Greenhouse Restaurant in Phillipsburg takes less then 10 minutes to get to and was one of our favorites. The owners and manager were kind and helpful; overall we were very happy with this lovely villa and would definitely recommend it.

What a beautiful home and Island! Highly recommend to all families wanting to have a trip of a life time . The owners and management staff are wonderful people and fine host. The home is very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay, and are looking forward to another stay at this house with the warm tropical breeze and sounds of the ocean, crashing on the beach below. In addition the mountains stretching down to the dark blue waters edge truly a picture straight out of the movies, and great for hiking! Picture yourself lying next to your own private sparkling blue pool the sun over head tanning your body too a beautiful shade of bronze in between refreshing plunges into a sparkling blue pool awaiting you and your guest only. this is only a fraction of what awaits you. There is much do to and see on the island both on the Dutch and French side. since this villa is in a great location, 5 minutes to downtown Philipsburg and 10 minutes to the French side. Our family strongly recommends this home to everyone. On our next visit to this Island, we will definitely stay at this nice retreat villa.

This villa has everything, from the best view on the island, with a gorgeous sunrise and when there is full moon, Guana Bay sparkles. With a private pool, superior comfort in the furnishings, excellent WiFi and cable you can let your hair down and just relax. Nothing is better than the sea breeze and sound of the ocean to go to bed with. The location also means that you are only 5 minutes from Great Bay in Phillipsberg so you can shop and eat to your hearts content We love this place and the owners with their local support, can't be greater for attending to your every need.

We are very happy we chose to stay at this hillside villa with a spectacular view of the ocean and neighboring island. The property manager met us at the car rental location and personally escorted us to the villa. It is large, clean, well furnished, and brightly lit with island sunshine. It is on a large parcel of land on the Dutch side of the island, with the shops, casinos, and nightlife nearby. The French side is loaded with restaurants and European culture. Beaches are everywhere and many have water sports rentals and day tours. We scarcely needed to use the private pool at the villa. Whether you want exciting activities or quiet seclusion, you can have it here. We had a wonderful time and hope to come again next year!

The vila has an amazing view of Guana Bay, the mountains and Saint Barthélemy. The villa is located in a secluded quiet neighborhood. The Villa is advertised as two bedrooms with two bathrooms, nowhere does it indicate that the second bathroom is in the owners private bathroom that is not for the renters use, so to use the second bathroom one has to awkwardly walk through the owners room that is full of the owners personal stuff. The villa is dilapidated especially the kitchen and bathroom.

The pictures accurately reflect this east facing hillside villa. Plenty of room for my wife and I and our adult son when we visited over the Christmas week in 2016. As you look out over Guana Bay, you will notice cars and the occasional bus parked at the end of the road (down the hill to the right). It's one end of a hiking trail that leads to Geneve Bay and some sheltered pools. It's beautiful and definitely worth the effort. It takes a couple of hours to get out and back, so take plenty of water. We took a (most welcomed) dip in the pool upon our return. Just a few minutes by car into Philipsburg and 15 minutes to Dawn Beach and plenty of restaurant choices. If you want to eat in, get a rotisserie chicken (or two) at the little shack next to the grocery in Dawn Beach - delicious! If I had to pick a nit, it would the the neighborhood dogs. They were quite vocal - day and night. Not much the owners can do about that. Would definitely try to book again if we return to the island.
