This property was exactly what we needed. It was comfortable and had everything we needed and wanted. It's a short walk to the beach and the main street. There are lots of restaurants and other fun shops to check out. We had a fun, relaxing time. Highly recommend.

Everything was amazing. Only addition that would make it exceptional is a fire pit. Our family of 4 with two teenage boys absolutely loved it.

This property was perfect for visiting our son who attends Westmont College. Close to college and beach! Homey feel perfect for family time.

Absolutely love this cottage, second time we have stayed here, feels like a piece of home to us, love the size, patio, kitchen comes in handy. We come in and park and never get back in our truck, walk everywhere, got our steps in for sure! We are already looking at our schedule to get another visit in before end of next month.

What a wonderful little cottage. Perfect location and comfortable set up. House was super cute and the front yard fit our needs perfectly. The house has all the pots pans etc, but you’ll need to arrive with coffee, sugar, cooking oil and all your bathroom toiletries. No soaps other than hand soap provided.

We stayed here while visiting colleges between LA and Santa Barbara. Even though the weather was not perfect we still enjoyed the short walk to the beach and cozy cottage to play games and relax together. When there was a break in the rain we used the bikes to explore town and the outdoors. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and lots of restaurant choices when we didn’t want to cook. Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us!

This cottage is absolutely adorable. Great location, easy to walk to the beach, downtown etc. Kat was responsive and helpful with all our needs. Will definitely stay again!

We had the best time at this property and really just fell in love with Carpinteria! The house was perfect for our family of four. We appreciated all the updates, the decor and the coziness of this place. It was handy having a washer/dryer available to us. We had everything we needed at this property. It’s a special place for sure and I hope to visit again someday!

We enjoyed bringing in the 2023 at this cute beach bungalow. We enjoyed a short walk to the beach and had so much fun riding bicycles to the bluffs. The house was clean with a peaceful and relaxing vibe. Unfortunately, our scheduled whale watching tour to the Channel Islands was cancelled due to inclement weather. A good reason to come back! We had a great time. The house was cute and well taken care of. We felt comfortable and like it was a true getaway. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Cozy environment. We are a family of 3 and it was perfect!

Not great for kids under 3- lots of Little Rock’s in the yard could be choked on. Also no spatula, brita wasn't working, plastic plates and cups for kids and picnics would have been nice. Would have also been nice to been notified about hedge trimming at time of little ones nap. Also was paranoid the whole time about staining their white towels and sheets since they mentioned we would be which is tough with little kids.

We totally loved our stay in this house. Such a cute place. Really great spot in terms of by the beach, shops, restaurants, all are so close. The host was quick to respond to queries. Wish we could stayed longer.

My sisters and I went away for a girls getaway weekend. This home is clean, beautiful and walking distance to town. I was instructed prior to our departure that we needed to dispose of all trash, strip the beds, gather all used towels and run and unload the dishwasher. The demands of the homeowner are rigid. We of course would not leave the home in disarray. We cleaned up after ourselves and put things away as they were utilized. There is a cleaning fee which is included in the total cost of the rental. The home is small. The cleaning service has a 5 hour window to prepare for the next set of renters. Getting away for a weekend is to relax and unwind. I am on vacation. I should not have to worry about performing chores before leaving a rental property. That's is what the cleaning service is paid to do. I will not be returning.

A beautifully renovated, well maintained, spacious cottage, located a block and a half from the beach. All the amenities are provided. The kitchen is large and has modern appliances. Everything needed for the beach is provided - bikes, chairs, umbrellas, even toys for children. Parking is available for one car with plenty of off -street parking also available. The host is very responsive. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay! This was our second visit and everything was perfect and easy. Only thing to note is that there is no A/C and it can get quite warm(we were there during a heat wave), but other then that everything was great. Kat gave us all the important information and the stay was easy and comfortable. Location was perfect - wagon and sand toys that came with the house were great for our young kids. We will definitely be back!

Charming decor, perfectly located and well-appointed!

This is the sweetest little spot by the beach! It is very clean, cozy and just a great location. It was so nice to use their wagon and take my little ones and their toys, towels, snacks etc to the beach without having to look for parking or carry things. We even used the wagon to go to the grocery store. My kids loved it! There is a really nice playground, some cute restaurants, shops and an ice cream spot all in walking distance from here. The kitchen had almost everything we needed in terms of pots and pans, coffee maker, blender baking sheets etc. We like to cook so that was import to us. Once we got our groceries, we felt right at home. There is a little laundry area outside which was nice to be able to do that with children as I’m sure other moms know what that’s like! The outdoor shower was great too! You can sit outside and have breakfast and dinner because the weather is usually perfect in SB. I love carp! It’s close enough to SB to go there and the beach is so nice here too! My only complaint is that when I asked if my aunt could join us on this trip, I never heard back from the owner so I was a little worried about that. She owns the house next door to this one, which I believe is a little bigger. I saw someone next door cleaning up when we arrived and it turned out to be the owner, so I did get the chance to meet her. She did come into the yard and change out our umbrella which startled me for a second because I was alone with my youngest while she was napping and I wasn’t expecting to see anyone outside, but no big deal. This is an excellent choice and we had an amazing time! I would definitely recommend coming here and would love to come back! My oldest son wanted me to suggest to please get a stool for the bathroom because his little brother and sister couldn’t reach the sink ;) otherwise we are big fans! Oh and we for some reason could not figure out Netflix on your tv. It couldn’t connect with my phone for some reason but she does have a fun dvd collection. These are all small things, nothing that would stop us from coming back. It really was just what we needed! A little beach vacation! Thank you again for having us!!! Your place was perfect!

Effortless and easy.

Our getaway was perfectly timed for a long overdue visit with our friends from Colorado. We arrived on Monday afternoon, found this rental to be one of the best, if not the best rental we have ever stayed in. As soon as we pulled up we felt at home. So sweet from the street and the inside was perfect. We parked our car out front and did not use it again until we left on Thursday. Bedroom was quite and comfortable. Bathroom was big and clean. Living area was perfect size for us. We sat outside on the patio every day. We walked to the beach and surrounding areas, tried the bikes one day but we felt too rusty (old) to peddle away. Overall this rental was excellent and we are already making plans to rent again, new found love and love Carpinteria.

My daughter and I felt extremely safe within the neighborhood and it was Nice to be able to walk to the Beach and into Town for the Cottage. We would definitely Stay Again!
