Close to the family fun, but with quiet neighbors. The cottage was well appointed as a home base for 9 days of family fun. The host had check in/check out down to a science, and was very responsive. Would definitely book again.

Our family of five had a great weekend in Old Orchard Beach. The cottage location was near the beach, mini golf, and plenty of restaurants. Definitely recommend.

My family and I loved staying at this cute cottage. It had what we needed and we were very comfortable. The AC and washer and dryer were definitely a plus. The location of this house was IDEAL. Just a quick walk to the stores, pier, beach, and carnival. Communication with the owner was great as well. We definitely want to return to this house!

We ended up having a rainy and cold 4th of July, but this was still a great cabin to use as our home base: close to downtown OOB as well as an easy drive to the highway and other Maine points such as Portland, we ended up having a wonderful weekend. Gigi was a great host who was super responsive and helpful in preparing for our trip. The cabin was clean, accommodating and had what we needed to make our weekend away in OOB very enjoyable.

My family and I absolutely loved our beach getaway at Jeanette’s cottage! It was cozy, very nicely decorated and a great home away from home. The beds were really comfortable, which is important. Easy walk to the beach. Nice quiet neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely wonderful time! This property is conveniently located to downtown, grocery stores, and shopping. We stayed in Oct and were able to walk most places. We also went to Portland To experience the breweries (20min Drive) And Freeport Outlets (30min Drive). Trail of terror (walk through haunted house- 8 min drive)was fun and scary! The house was perfect to cook small meals and play board games. Super cozy and clean. Would absolutely stay again! People/owners very friendly. Great area!

This cottage was perfect. It was my wife and I and then our two year old. We could have fit a couple more kids easily. Great location. Walking distance to everything.

This was such a cute house and the description was on point. There were 6 of us, 2 families, it was snug but it worked perfectly. We really enjoyed having the kitchen to make breakfast and dinner, the grill, the patio for cards after a day at the beach, and the tv for the day of the storm. It was nice to also have a washer/dryer on site. The location of this home is perfect to go to the beach and the attractions, while also giving you a bit of down time if you need/want it. Jeanette was fantastic to work with. During our stay there was a storm coming in, she had reached out to let me know of the weather and the next day checked in as well. The check in/out process was so easy, Jeanette was available during my whole stay and very responsive during the whole booking/rental process. I would recommend this rental to others and stay here again the next time I head to OOB. Thank you Jeanette for opening up your home to others to enjoy the area.

The property was perfect for our family. A short walk to the beach and all the activities that OOB has to offer and yet, a quiet place to get away from the busy areas. The cottage is exactly as advertised and nothing took us by surprise. I would recommend this cottage for parties of 4-6 people looking to get away to OOB.

My wife, two kids (7 &4) and I made our first trip to OOB and stayed at this small cottage over Labor Day weekend and we're happy that we choose this property. HOUSE - Although a little on small size, especially in the living area, the bedrooms are adequate for sleeping up to 6. The bathroom is a little tight, but the open kitchen definitely has enough space for cooking. The owner has stocked the house with almost anything you could think to need - from all kitchen supplies, beach gear, extra blankets and pillows, to board games. There was even a first aid kit in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable (the living room couch/futon not so much), and the house overall is kept tidy. Grill and picnic table outside. My one suggestion to the owner is a 2nd TV in one of the bedrooms to allow kids to have their own space, but overall no complaints. The photos you see in the listing is what you get. LOCATION - Even with two small kids, the walk from the cottage to the pier was maybe just north of 5 minutes. The first day I took my car in the opposite direction to the grocery store, but even that is probably about 1/3 miles up the road. If you're planning to stay entirely in OOB, you can park your car and leave it in the driveway for the duration of your stay. That being said, the house is situated in a development a block or two from a main road. You don't get the hoopla of beachfront OOB but neighbors are in very close proximity, so depending on those neighbors will determine how loud/quite your nights are. OWNER - A+. Jeanette is highly responsive, and is willing to go the extra step to make sure that your stay is a good one. Although we didn't have any issues that needed assistance once we arrived, she did arrange to let us park our car in the driveway prior to check in - which was a big help. OVERALL - Great place to stay for families with small kids. Close enough to everything you need, but just enough off the strip that you have the potential for some peace and quiet.

Such a cute little house, able to hold six of my friends, we loved it! Walked to the beach and to the pier, it was perfect for a getaway weekend!
