The place is just as described and the hosts were wonderful and very responsive. They have everything in the unit! We went to Walmart before arriving at the unit, and we should have waited until we saw all they had, laundry soap and sun screen, seasonings, fresh coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped. The air conditioner in the master (room to the left when you walk in) does leak a little, but that is normal and it was so hot that it was running overtime. The place if very clean. I would certainly stay again and actually can't wait to go back! You truly can't beat the location. They also have everything you need for the beach from chairs to towels (so many we didn't need to wash in order to have new, although we did prior to leaving because we are good guests, lol). They have binoculars on the balcony and the sunrise is so beautiful in the morning. They allowed us a late checkout when our flight was moved to late afternoon and the location is very safe and secure. Thank you again for allowing us a wonderful time. This was for my best friend's 40th birthday and was a surprise, we never get away and this was just such a treat.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We loved keeping the windows open and enjoying the constant ocean breeze. The view is amazing! Enjoyed meals on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Rachel and Gary were very responsive. We are a family of four adults so it would have been nice to have a second set of keys so we could come and go separately. Also, I was really looking forward to reviewing the binder of owner’s favorite things to do/places to go/restaurants but it wasn’t there. Overall, it was a great vacation and Puerto Rico is beautiful!

We loved our second stay here as much as the first time. The access to Playa Azul, a beautiful uncrowded beach, was our main draw. The gated security, parking lot, and quick ride to San Juan and the West coast, were all big benefits. Will definitely stay here again.

This beachview apartment was perfect for our family vacation this summer! The views from the 18th floor are fantastic and we enjoyed having meals on the balcony overlooking the beach! Rachel and her team were super-responsive to our needs and the communication before and during the stay was excellent! We would rate our stay higher than five stars if we had the option!

We ate dinner in the condo almost every night cuz the view was so beautiful!!! The place had everything we needed to prepare meals, if you don’t want the sun waking you up very early in the morning, use the curtains that are provided. They even provided chairs and towels for the beach which was a huge plus. Made our stay even better. We walked to sone restaurants but if you want to explore the island renting a car is the way to go!

The ocean view and location is perfect. The property had everything you need for a beach day while nestled in a perfect cove with a private beach area. Rachel and Gary were easy to communicate with and responded promptly when we communicated. There were no issues at all, all the directions they left on the counter were on point. We highly recommend this condo and are already starting to plan our next trip and will definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a great beach holiday. The apartment had amazing views of the beach. We had breakfast and dinner with a view. The apartment had all the amenities to have dinner there and lots of beach toys/chairs/cooler. The beach is clean and very easy to access. The apartment is close to supermarket, restaurants and Kioskos. Would love to stay there again. The AC in the rooms work great, no AC in the main living area but we opened all the windows and enjoyed the beach breeze. Wonderful place!

As pictured. Well situated with beach view and near el Yunque and Fajardo. Had everything we needed and comfortable for kids. Felt very safe. Limited food options nearby but that’s true of anything in this area.

We enjoyed staying here for a few nights. The view is amazing, and we enjoyed the close proximity to El Yunque, Laguna Grande, Luquillo Beach, and Luquillo Kiosks. The place was clean and homey, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well in the bedroom, but after the first night we chose to sleep with the windows open instead and enjoyed the sound of soothing ocean waves from our perch on the 18th floor. We especially enjoyed the hammock chairs and eating breakfast on the patio. The hosts were communicative and welcoming!

Beautiful ocean front condo in a great location. There’s a supermarket across the street, Walgreens and fast food restaurants, then there’s the Kiosko nearby where we ate mostly Pierto Rican Caribbean cuisine- the best! Mofongo at the Rooftop. A block away from the condo was our favorite place for cappuccino and my son loved waffle churros. The apt was beautiful and so clean, had everything we needed. The balcony was nice at night with a glass of wine.. Lastly, great communication with the owners Rachel and Gary, responds to text, emails, calls . we would definitely consider staying here again! This 2 Bedroom Condo features a lovely Ocean view, updated kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. At first I thought the hanging chair in the living room was an odd use of space, but my husband literally rocked himself to sleep in it the first night we were there! There are many beach chairs to choose from in the box on the deck. *Be sure to bring an eye mask if you don't like waking up with the sun, or ask the owners about the drapes. We didn't know that they were in the closet during our stay, but my mistake for not asking while we were there. The owners Rachel and Burt respond quickly and are very nice people.

We spent 5 days in Luquillo before heading to Vieques. It was a perfect spot for day trips. The beach out front was great for the kids, they also enjoyed the pool. What I loved most was the views and ocean breezes! Well stocked apartment, easy parking, easy walk to amazing food. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

It brought back great memories as we used to rent in that complex as a child. The view was awesome, the complex staff was helpful and will rebook again when visiting next time.

On several days one of us got up early to take beautiful sunrise photos. You really don't need AC since there is a constant breeze flowing through the condo, although one of us liked turning it on in one bedroom for sleeping. Cupboards in the kitchen and shelves all around the condo were well organized. Materials were easy to find. The hammocks in the balcony were a plus. Eating meals at the table in the balcony allowed us to enjoy the scenic beach below and the rain clouds and rainbow in the ocean's horizon.

What an amazing property. It is in a gated community that is guarded 24 hours both at the parking lot as well as the building. This gave a sense of safety for sure, although the neighborhood was totally fine to take a walk in to have a meal in one of the many charming and delicious small restaurants in downtown Luquillo. The 18th floor gives an awesome opportunity to be 'above' it all and have a gorgeous view. The sound of the ocean is gorgeously soothing and refreshing. Each of the bedrooms are equipped with airconditioning, which was not an unnecessary luxury for two middle age-ish ladies. The beach/sea right outside is gorgeous and natural in looks (luch palm trees) and the sea itself does not have super big differences between tides (our trip was the last week of October, so don't know what this looks like at other times of the year) so was a safe one to swim in and catch waves. The kitchen is equipped with all cooking paraphernalia and is also nice and new if you want to cook. It is clean and welcoming. The apartment is decorated nicely in a beach theme and has comfortable places to sit (couch, bar stools as well as a higher table and stools and a beautiful outside dining table that seats 6). We were with just two but the apartment can comfortably accomodate 4 and even 6 people depending on circumstances and individual wishes/needs. Rachel has been wonderful to communicate with as a host, she is super responsive and approachable.

Everyone loves the view from the balcony and that is really something special… but what my 90-year-old Mom loved the most was the walk-in shower in her room, and the building being barrier-free with no stairs to climb all the way to the beach! My wife and I loved the wonderful breeze and the fantastic sound of the waves day and night! We stayed 14 days and didn't once turned on the air-condition!

I wanted to take a moment to express what a great condo this is and to thank Rachel for the opportunity to stay there for ten days this past August. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and I’m sure we will be back. Here’s a little back story….my wife’s grandparents were original owners on the 20th floor. When they passed away, the apartment was handed down to my mother and father in law. From the time my wife was a little girl (now almost 40), she had spent about three to four weeks a year in Playa Azul 1. Fast forward to today, my in laws can no longer maintain the apartment or make it down here without significant difficulty, so they are selling the apartment. My wife wanted to take myself and our two kids to show us what was such a big part of her childhood. My mother in law came down from the 20th floor and was astonished at what you had done to 1802. An absolute gem!! The kitchen is newly updated, the oversized balcony has all the beach related items you could ever need, and the condo is as comfortable as it is beautiful. Super close to the famous kioskos, El Yunque rainforest, Luquillo beach, and of course the beach right down the stairs and only a few short steps away. Amazing snorkeling opportunities right on site. Thank you again for such a great experience! This was my kids and my first time to Puerto Rico and it was amazing. The look on my wife’s face as I watched her re-live her childhood was priceless. We absolutely loved every second and we will most definitely be back.

The location was excellent. The ocean is perfect for kids, much better than east coast of Maryland, and Virginia. We made a donation to the house by leaving a basketball. The basketball courts are excellent, there is a regulation court and a small court for younger kids with lower baskets. My 6 year old and 12 year old played daily.

We loved our stay. The beach was so nice. My daughters boogie boarded a ton at the beach. The location was close to the rain forest, which was amazing. The condo itself was super clean and very well equipped. The view is amazing. We absolutely loved our stay here.

I cannot imagine a better view from the balcony, which is huge and comfortable. Beach has few people though lots of seaweed. Living space clean with new kitchen. 1 mile from Luquillo kiosks for dining and shopping and busy beach (if that’s what you prefer). Easy check in and easy communication with owners. We had a great stay.

Very much enjoyed this condo at Playa Azul. My teenager enjoyed the hammock swings on the balcony the most, though we all used them. The views are spectacular from the balcony. The location is close to El Yunque and Fajardo (bioluminescent bay). We drove our last night into Old San Juan to walk around and have dinner and it was about 45 minutes. The security is very tight at the complex and your key is needed to get in and out. It is a very comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the beach right near the complex as well as Luquillo beach. The Brass Cactus is near enough to walk to, there is a small coffee shop nearby as well with delicious lattes (Brendalee)
