We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Carlsbad. The house had everything a beach goer could want or need and with the beach only a short walk away it doesn’t get much better. The kids loved the back bedroom and backyard. We really loved the large master bedroom, with an extremely comfortable bed. I felt like I was at home.

We were very pleased overall and if future plans include Carlsbad, we would rent it again. There were two issues: Wi-Fi was not acceptable and was very difficult to log into. The second bedroom needs a lamp on the night table and the living room could also use a lamp on the end table. Our host was attentive and considerate, thank you. Barbara

The property was prefect for our stay to attend our daughter’s wedding. It was comfortable, clean, and the games were fun for the grandkids. Location was perfect. It would be great to come back and stay during the summer.

The proximity to the beach is great and one detail to keep in mind is that the street actually is a cul-de-sac so for it's location it's very quiet. The house was clean and had everything we needed and the yard was perfect for kids and our dog.

This is a great home in a great location. We loved having the back yard for our dogs. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and close enough to walk to the beach. Plenty of good places to eat near by and the carlsbad village is very close as well. We were extremely happy with this place. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

Great location, great house, very well furnished and stocked and maintained. Our 2 nd time, fun time, fenced yard.

The house is well stocked and appointed. The kitchen has plenty of cooking essentials. The beds are comfortable. The front porch is lovely for sitting outside with coffee or evening beverages. There are LOTS of toys, chairs, beach shelter, umbrella, beach towels, boogie boards, etc. for the beach and a wagon and 2 carts to carry them to the beach. The location is great: 2 short blocks to the beach and a 10-15 minute walk to Carlsbad Village. The hostess was very responsive and answered our questions promptly. We recommend this property and would like to return someday.

Our family of four plus a dog spent 10 nights here in June and JuLy. Everything was comfortable and fit our needs well. It was great to bounce down to the beach or walk into Carlsbad Village anytime we wanted.

We absolutely loved this cute bungalow stocked with everything we needed for a fun day at the beach, which was only a block away! The location was perfect! We really enjoyed sitting out on the both the front porch and in the backyard to enjoy our morning coffee and relax. There is a nearby bike path that we also used for a short ride into town. It's a great place for a family vacation and we will definitely be back.

We traveled with our 4 kids ages 7, 5, 3, and almost 1. Overall this property is amazing! Great location, quiet street close to the beach, big front and back yard. I cannot even begin to list all the extras we were surprised to find when we arrived: pack n play, actual crib that could be assembled, high chairs, changing pad, kiddo step stools, toys, movies, kitchen spices/appliances/accessories, medicine cabinet essentials like aloe, bubble bath for kids, chest rub for kids, awesome shampoo/conditioner, so many extra sheets/pillows/towels, a toddler mattress...the list goes on and on! If you're traveling with kids, this house literally has everything you'd need. What a treat! The ONLY thing that was a bit of a disappointment was that the listing does not make it clear that the bunk bed room is actually detached from the house. It's not far (just across the back patio), but my kids are young, and were too scared to sleep in a different "house". They were very excited about the bunk beds, so this was a bit of a disappointment. It also required us to rearrange all of our sleeping arrangements putting a couple of the kids in the master with us which we weren't anticipating. Not the end of the world as the master is huge, but a bit of a bummer. If your kids are a bit older than mine (oldest is 7) the bunk room would probably be amazing to keep everyone in their own space. All in all, it's an awesome place and we loved our stay!

Only a block from the beach! Huge yard, great for children or pets. Comfortable bed/bedding, easy check-in process and super clean. Great place for families with all the beach gear plus bikes, wagons, etc. Will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful trip and our second time staying here. Location is perfect. The beach is a short 5 minute walk away. They have all the toys and towels and bikes. You only need to bring your sunscreen! The beds and sheets were extremely clean and comfortable. We slept so well here! Unfortunately the fridge in the kitchen went out but they have a fully functioning back-up in the garage so we carried on as planned with our meals! That’s some great planning on their end:) Also keep in mind that the AC doesn’t keep up with the size of the room on extremely hot days. We were given three fans which helped tremendously and used the beautiful porch or back yard to lounge and cool off. Speaking of the back yard! What an oasis!! It was a dream for us and our three dogs! Despite the two hiccups mentioned before, this stay merits 5 stars for sure. Marci and her team were very responsive and accommodating, so that is what matters. We made beautiful memories yet again.
