This is an adorable little cottage with all that you need for a peaceful week at the lake. We took full advantage of the kayaks, the paddle boat, and the canoe. We just wish we had stayed longer. We only stayed five days, and it went very quick, but would love to stay longer next time. The view from the loft bedroom is amazing in the morning. The only downfall to the vacation was that we had to drive so far to the restaurants that we wanted to visit but the peaceful atmosphere made up for that. Nothing better than coffee on that deck in the morning .

This cottage was the perfect location for the four of us to stay. It was very peaceful and the perfect place to explore Lake Norman with our boat. Alicia and Jeff were very helpful and accommodating. We strongly recommend it and hope to come back again!

We had an extended stay at this home with our two pups. Perfect for us in every way. Very nice quiet spot. Lovely owners. We will come again!

everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Tranquil cove with beautiful views. Spent hours sitting on the gazebo and our dogs loved swimming off the dock. Super cute decor and comfortable accommodations. Highly recommended and we will be back for sure

We loved how the cottage was decorated. Only complaint is, I would have liked a TV in the bedroom. I have a bad habit off falling asleep to a TV and like to get in bed early and watch.

We really enjoyed our stay in this nice cottage. All essentials are provided and everything is neat and clean. I was fishing a 3 day bass tournament and my wife, daughter, and granddaughter spent the weekend. On Saturday a friend joined us with his son for the day and the two kids really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing from the dock. The owners were nice to let me use their boat ramp and also leave my truck and boat trailer there after check out until I finished my tournament. Highly recommend...

Great cottage right on Lake Norman with dock, gazebo, porch & no as to. Will definitely rent again

The cottage was cozy, cute, and clean. Just enough room for me and my husband. The property owners were great to work with. We appreciated that we could bring our dogs and use their dock for our boat. The private boat launch is right next to the dock. The cove was quiet and the fishing on Lake Norman was quite productive for us. We will definitely return to this property.

Just missing a motorized boat

This place was all we had hoped and more. Some note that the place is tiny, but truly it is laid out beautifully,. and we spent most of our time outdoors! The beds are very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. Alicia was responsive and helpful. We felt like we had sufficient space and we are a family of 4 (our kids are 13 and 11) and a 60 pound dog. Although the cottage is on the same property as the owners, we felt like we were at our own paradise (and we never saw the owners- even on a holiday weekend!) The place is clean and filled with just the right things to make you feel at home. The fish were biting, the water refreshing, and the sunsets unforgettable. We will be back..... THANK YOU- this place is a gem!

Thank you for letting us rent your vacation home. We had a wonderful time at your lovely property. The house was very clean, with all the amenities we needed while still being spacious enough so that we didn’t feel cramped. The location on the lake was fantastic which made it easy to swim, fish and kayak and just enjoy the area’s scenery and wildlife.

We made fantastic memories at this lovely cottage! It had everything I loved about my childhood trips to the lake- fishing, boating, beautiful scenery and must importantly a peaceful place for rest and relaxation ❤️

Our stay at this little lakeside getaway was quiet and peaceful. The house is nestled in front of a larger home on the shore in the back of a long bay at the north end of the lake. We barely saw the neighbors behind us and felt very private there. The cottage is two beds, but only one bedroom. this was fine for just the two of us and the dog. The loft bedroom is great for views but there is no getting away from the light through the window or privacy. It might be ok for kids but would not be very private for another adult couple (IMO). I was able to use the boat ramp for my 18' outboard Crestliner boat. Part of the ramp was missing - it worked though, just back down slowly. If you have a jetski or trailer that size it would be wide enough. VERY nice to be able to use a private boat ramp and not have to drive around to the marina. The cottage is appointed nicely. the wood floors are cool and easy to keep clean. having a washer/dryer is a big plus too! That way you don't have to pack as much. Overall - great spot, out of the way for peaceful times, and very well kept.

We didn’t rent it but would’ve been very disappointed at the condition if we had. The cottage looks just like the pictures and is very tastefully decorated. It does need some work or a good paint job but overall it was nice. The beds were comfortable and had the basics in the kitchen for any cooking needs. It does have both a keurig and regular coffee pot. We would consider renting this cottage again.

This was a great alternative to a hotel stay. There was plenty to do for the adults and our son. Quiet location.

Oh my gosh this place was great for us & our dog! Very peaceful...and beautiful! Tucked away in a cove. Had the whole area to ourselves🥰 I would highly recommend this place and hope to return again!

The property is right on the lake. It is a small space with a private bedroom and a loft with a bed. The kitchen is complete but very compact. It has the basics for cooking. No extras. The bathroom has a tub/shower and holds the full sized stacked washer dryer. Everything is clean and neat, but small. The surrounding yard is large enough for pets to walk around.
