Beautiful condo right by the beach with pool! Great family stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo is beautiful, completely updated, spacious and clean. Leslie was wonderful to work with- very helpful and always got back to us quickly. The location is great! It’s close to the beach, shopping and restaurants, with a grocery store right across the street. Our son is an infant so we were looking for something beachfront but with more privacy than a condo in a large building. This was perfect for us and the pool access was as an added bonus- the best of both worlds! We would absolutely recommend this condo and would certainly stay here again!

Overall we had a very nice stay. Beautifully renovated condo, keyless entry at check-in and communicating with the owner were excellent! Only downfalls we could comment on are no convenient place to spray off after coming off the beach and the cleanliness of the unit was not what we expected. We had to sweep and wash the floors on arrival- feet were black after walking around after a few minutes, soap scum in the showers, bathtub plug did not work so bathing the littles was a little tricky as they could only get showers, couch stained with dirt, back deck railing very loose.

I had a great time at Leslie's condo. Please do not hestitate to book! The location and amenities were perfect. The beach and pool were steps away. There's a supermarket across the street and all types of restaraunts in the same plaza. The condo itself was even better in person than the pictures. It also felt like the condo was soundproof. I didnt hear any outside noise at all. Leslie was only a phone call away and answered all my questions and concerns I had. Thank you Leslie for such a memorable stay!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Leslie's property. It was nice being beach front without being in a high rise condo. The property was clean and modern and has everything you could ask for, including a pack and play for our 8 month old. There were plenty of businesses within walking distance as well, including restaurants, a grocery store, and ice cream. We would definitely stay again.

The views from the condo were great. Above all else was the hospitality of the owner, Leslie. I’ve never stayed anywhere else where communicating with the manager/owner was this easy and friendly. We’ll definitely look for this place again on our next trip down. Thanks again!

Family enjoyed the views of the beach from the outdoor balcony. The condo was very comfortable and inviting. The rooms are spacious where we were able to lounge around. Really enjoyed our time there and will visit again. Owner is very responsive and always available to answer all related questions. We had a great time without the crowds.

This was the perfect place to escape for a quick weekend getaway with my family. The location was ideal, the place was very clean and beautiful, and Leslie made booking so easy! We’ll be back!

This condo is exactly as the pictures show. Spacious main area so plenty of room for everyone (we had 6 adults) Very clean, well equipped kitchen, nice little touches throughout. Had a gorgeous view of the sunrise from the front balcony. Comfy deck outback for lounging and eating. Only warning I would give is this condo is on the second floor and there is not an elevator. If you have issues with navigating steps this would probably not be a good option for you. That being said I cant imagine another reason this would not be your ideal beach vacation l

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love everything about it! The location to the beach, restaurants, shopes etc. and the many amenities with the place makes it the perfect atmosphere for our family. Leslie is great to work with and her communication with everything you need to know about staying there is simply perfection!

We stayed for a long weekend (Sun-Tue) and really loved this property. The inside is clean, comfortable, and well decorated, and the owner has provided most of the amenities you could want. The beach and pool are just steps away. The location is good -- far enough north to be away from most of the noise and trashy people of OC, but still within easy reach of a handful of good carryout restaurants. We hit up Fractured Prune, OC Kabob, Tequila Mockingbird, and Higgins Crab House, all either a short walk or ride. We spent most of our time on the south deck, which has a nice ocean view, some comfy lounge chairs, and a nice picnic table (there's a patio umbrella in one of the bedroom closets.) There's a bit of noise from Coastal Highway, especially around rush hour, and of course there's always the 50 year old adolescents riding up and down the strip on their little motorcycles, but overall it wasn't enough to drive us inside. Communication from the owner was clear and timely; about a week out I received an email with detailed instructions and driving directions, then a day before I received the door code via text. Parking was a little tricky to figure out when I arrived, so I texted and Leslie called me back immediately. (Hint: it's *under* the condo.) Overall I have nothing but good things to say about our stay or the property. Thanks!!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was very clean And the property manager with very nice and helpful. She found the missing wristwatch And it's going to mail it back to us .

This property was awesome! We were so close to everything; the beach, the pool, shops, and restaurants. The property was the perfect size for my group of six. Everything was clean and nicely renevated.

We LOVED the spacious open floor plan of this property. Completed updated and beautifully decorated with a kitchen that is well stocked for cooking in, which we did a lot during "The Summer of COVID". The deck was a great place for early morning coffee or evening dinner with the family. We loved being right on the beach. Owners, Jay & Leslie Walker were the perfect hosts. After a hurricane storm, we lost connection with our TVs. Jay & Leslie were just a text away to fix the problem. Our first VRBO experience, and Jay & Leslie made it a great one! Our week at Not your Grandmothers Beach House was relaxing and fun! The sunrise from the front deck was amazing. We watched the dolphins in the morning / evening from the back deck. Comfortable & modern from the kitchen to the living / bed/ bathrooms. The only thing I will mention that may be a negative is that you have to climb quite a few stairs to get into the condo. If you are older or out of shape this may be a problem. You can walk across the street to the grocery store / Dunkin Donuts and TJ Maxx. The green Turtle has great fish and chicken tenders and the service is superb. I would highly recommend staying here. Leslie was quick to answer and resolve any issues.

We've stayed up and down coastal highway and this is the best condo ever! The condo is absolutely stunning with tons of light and beach vibes. Completely stocked in the kitchen with everything you need to prep breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Plenty of space for our family of 4 which included happy teens! The bedrooms are big and comfortable. The bathrooms are fantastic with plently of counter space. But my most favorite part was the full size washer and dryer which made washing towels quick and easy. Our family enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the deck too. Obviously I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. We will be back!

When we arrived in OC our original home was not as described and we were in a scramble to find a place, Leslie was so sweet and accommodating and helped us rent her home without any bumps in the road. The outside of the building is alarming when you first pull up, but Leslie lets you know not to judge a book by its cover and she is right! From the moment you enter the home it is beautifully updated throughout and fully stocked. The only complaint would be that there are no window treatments in the living area and there is a spot light on the basketball courts behind the back deck that shines directly into the living room. Other than that, our stay was great! Thank you again for your hospitality and generosity in allowing us to rent last minute!

Lovely renovated condo near the beach with good beach views. Tastefully decorated and made for a real home away from home feel. Despite the shabbiness of the exterior, the interior was really luxurious and everything in the unit has been tastefully updated right down to the studs with everything new. The keyless entry was a real treat for my family of 4 including 2 teenagers. Everyone had their own space. We look forward to staying again in the future.
