The house was the perfect size, and it had so much to do it kept the kiddos busy. We LOVED the air hockey and pool table. The hot tub was PERFECT at night! When we first walked in it looked like we were the first family to ever stay there that’s how clean it was! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful property with lots to do!

We had a great time! The house was clean, beautiful and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and everyone had the space they needed. The kids loved the pool and air hockey tables in the basement, and the solid wood door leading to the basement was perfect...adults could block out the noise of a rowdy air hockey game upstairs! Parking in the neighborhood is generally pretty tight, but we were able to park 4 cars at this house! The only issue we had was the hot tub cover, it needs a new cover and a lift...it's VERY VERY heavy and awkward to open, and we are young and strong adults. We had a small issue getting into the house...seems the lock box was broken, but after calling Meredith Lodging, they sent someone right away who fixed the problem and installed a new lock box. We had another issue that night with a battery on an electronic door lock being dead and emitting a very high pitched beep. Again, they sent someone right away to fix the problem, and from there on we were problem free. I was very impressed with how they handled the situations and how quickly and friendly they were about it. The customer service Meredith Lodging offers is why I continue to rent from them when I need a house on the beach. Things are going to happen, so having the confidence that when they do the property managers will respond quickly is very reassuring. Overall, this house was a great fit for our annual family beach trip and I would absolutely rent it again.

We all had a lovely time staying at Knee Deep in Paradise. It was very clean and comfortable, in a good location, and was large enough for our friend group. However, we had some issues with the description of the rental. There was no air hockey, the hot tub only worked half of our stay, and the WiFi (due to the storm) was really poor. Other than those things, we enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again.

House was well furnished and laid out for multiple families. Parking was a little tight.

The location is unbeatable. Very quiet yet close to stores and restaurants. The neighborhood has a private park, swimming pool, and beach access. The house has a ton of room and is well-stocked for every occasion. We used the beach chairs and towels daily and the kids grabbed the sand toys as we hung out at the beach for hours, followed by the outside shower and hot tub. We will be back!

We absolutely loved this house! 3 families with children and the layout was perfect! We never felt crowded and were so impressed with all the “extras” the house had.. even had a waffle maker! Appliances were new and the kitchen was laid out well for lots of cooks at one time. We can’t wait to come back to this house again!!

Property was big enough for all us however the oven never worked, the kitchen sink fell out of the counter and one of our guests was sitting on a bar stool that completely fell apart and she fell backwards into the dining room table. Needless to say our stay was not very enjoyable. Maintenance was called out 3 different times and with no oven it really put a problem with all the food we brought to cook. Never have had an experience like this and I hope I never do again.

What an amazing house! Extremely clean, neat and tidy. All the mod cons you could need including Xbox, air hockey and pool table for those rainy days. Our microwave was having issues, one phone call and it was replaced next day, great service. The beach is a short stroll, zig zagging through the quaint neighbourhood. Public access stairs take you straight to the beach. Even closer is a small grassed park with swing set for the kids. We ended up having 12 adults and 3 children and once we figured out who would get the 4 bedrooms we all managed to live there for 4 nights without driving each other crazy. Highly recommended and if we ever have a family reunion in Oregon again we will be back!

It was great! Parking was a little tricky. It also needs more towels, wash cloths and toilet paper.

Found a rug in washer several days later. Minor maintenance needed. Upstairs toilet constantly running and toilet seat broken.

Early Feb 2018 I booked Knee Deep in Paradise for my mothers 80th birthday. This was a girls weekend where we had plans to celebrate this women in our lives. I selected this home for its amenities most importantly I chose this home because it had a bedroom on the main floor that would suit my 80 yr mom and my 61yr sister who has limited mobility from a stroke and had a recent defibrillator. We arrived and discovered another family was in the house we had reserved. I called the staff and they tried to tell me that I had booked a different home, then it was another home and then I was told that they had been having computer problems and oops, we got double booked! There was limited availability because it was the start of spring break. The put us in another home that did not have a bedroom on the main for my mother and sister. Mom 80 yr mom's only option is to sleep on the couch. 30 mins after we get everything unpacked the maintenance man shows up and informs us the house has no heat. He tried to fix the heat and tells me that Olivia/Bella Beach had lost a number of staff recently so he's working to find us another home. The house is getting colder. I had to wrap my mother in blankets. He finds us home and tells us the hot tub in the next house needs to serviced and not to use until that time. I pack up my mother and all our belongings at 9:30 PM in the midst of hail/snow/rain storm and head to Bella Beach. We were exhausted when we got to Bella Beach. Once again no bedroom on the main floor. Mom has to sleep on the couch and my sister will just have to climb up and down the stairs. The next day I address my frustration with the staff. They only compensation they offer is the difference in cost between the two homes. The paid me back $300. There attitude was they put us in home and did not care that my 80 yr mother was sleeping on a couch for her birthday and my sister would struggle with the stairs. I also inquired about the servicing of the hot tub. I was told that hot tub was good to go. Well, that was not the case. One of our group got sick from the hot tub. Within 48hrs my niece was very sick and week later she was diagnosed with MRSA and almost hospitalized. She missed a week of work and she continues to suffer the brutal symptoms MRSA. This issue was not the fault of the home owners but the poor insensitive management of Olivia/Bella Beach Properties. I will never book through this property management again and I am spreading the word!

Our huge family got together and the weather was beautiful! We did everything! Skim boarding, shopping, spent time in worship, etc. We had tons of new encounters. We had never seen starfish or anything. We saw a family of otters at high tide! Our favorite moments were... everything! No complaints. It was the first time 5 of my siblings had ever seen the ocean. :) You have a beautiful home and it was such a blessing to us this week. Thank you again for opening up you beautiful home to us! This home is beautiful. You can tell the owners care about the guests and about the home. It was gorgeous, fully stocked, and a treat to stay in. The rooms are large, and the beds are amazingly comfortable. You can throw open the doors and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean (which is a 5 minute walk from the front door). It's close enough to the beach that you could visit at anytime, but the community allows for so many things. It's conveniently located.... only 5 minutes from Mo's (my new favorite restaurant), 5 minutes from the private beach, and everything else you need is within a 5-10 minute drive. If you're looking for a place that is wonderful for children, you don't have to look any further. They even provided the utensils for my little ones! (They're 5,3,1) My children cried when we had to leave! I couldn't have had a more beautiful and relaxing time, and I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends and family. Thank you so much Knee Deep in Paradise for allowing so many memories to be made on your property!

Loved spending quality family time at the Knee Deep in Paradise Beach House. We had a total of 12 people and one dog at the house and still had plenty of room. The roomy and super clean kitchen had top of the line appliances. There were more than enough place settings for over 16 people. We went deep sea fishing and caught 10 silver/Coho & 1 Chinook/King salmon. We rode quads on the sand dunes, learned how to blow glass floats, went for a hike to Drift Creek Falls, played at the beach tide pools, made sand castles, visited the Newport Aquarium and Yaquina Lighthouse, played board games, puzzles, watched a 3D movie, watched outdoor movies on the deck and in the park, relaxed in the large hot tub, played air hockey, pool, and Xbox Kinect at the house. The trundle beds make it easy to have kids close and the Graco Pack N Plays were another nice family friendly feature. My kids did not want to leave! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back again.

This is an absolutely beautiful home. It has everything you need to have a lovely get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. This house is very well cared for and you can tell that the owners want you to enjoy their home. We had a work day away from the office in this home, the WIFI that was available in the home allowed us to keep tabs on what was important yet, have a great team get away. We were able to bond with other team members over a game of air hockey or pool. We laughed and all enjoyed the time away. We also all enjoyed hanging out on the beach, and the tide pools were the best I have seen in the area. We didnt get a chance to use the volleyball net that was in the community area, but it looked like a lot of fun. There is a lot to do in the house and the immediate area that I recommend you consider this home for your family getaway or your work get away. We had over 15 in the house comfortably, and since there was so much room in the home, it didnt seem like there were that many people. Some were in the game room while others were in the living room hanging out. I cant wait to visit this area again, and stay in Knee Deep in Paradise.

This is a luxury home and there was something to do for our entire families. Although it's listed as sleeping 14, it sleeps 17 if you have 2 or 3 kids that like bunk beds (mine did of course!). They really have the place stocked. We liked the beds. I slept like a baby. I liked that I could make my own espresso for my morning walk to the beach. If the weather is not cooperating there is a LOT for several families to do in this house. We really liked the huge entertainment room. Kids played with toys, we played pool and air hockey and the X-box Kinect dancing game turned out to be a blast for the girls. We may want to buy our own beach house nearby.

This home is perfect for any family. We stayed with two young children and my mother-in-law and had a blast. The home is very clean and the beds are so nice and comfortable. Mark the owner told us to go down to the beach for the low tide to see the different sea creatures that come up on the rocks. It was so neat and the kids had a blast. I would stay in this house again in a heartbeat. Hot tub was great after a long day of shopping and even had a book with local places to eat which was so helpful. Thanks again Mark and Tina for such a great home and all the special touches you have put into the home to make it so nice.

We very much enjoyed our Thanksgiving week at the Knee Deep Beach House. The many pictures on the web accurately described the house. The house was clean, the kitchen was very well stocked, there was a generous supply of dishes and towels, the beds were comfortable and the down comforters appreciated. Although the beach was a bit of a hike, the pool table, hot tub, games, and nearby park, all gave the 4 generations of our family plenty to do. The BBQ grill was missing when we arrived but the property manager brought one as soon as we asked. We would recommend this house to our friends and relatives.

We had a wonderful stay over the New Years holiday. The house was beautiful & we would definately stay there again.

The Knee Deep Beach House was totally comfortable the first moment we walked in the door. The house is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The very short walk to the beach was easy, and we loved exploring the tide pools at low tide. We had a fabulous time! Thanks!
