Sin duda el mejor alojamiento en el que hemos estado en Jordania. Si buscas un hotel de 5 estrellas no es tu sitio, pero si lo que quieres es vivir una buena experiencia local lo es totalmente. Shadi es un crack y se desvive por ayudar, al igual que el resto de empleados, y sus consejos para visitar sitios son imprescindibles, sobre todo en relación a Petra. El desayuno es con comida local, una pasada. Nosotros cenamos allí una noche y sin duda mereció la pena, todo muy rico. A unos 5min de Petra en coche, buena ubicación con buenas vistas. Nos llevaron a ver la puesta de sol. Ojalá pudiera volver!!

Sehr sympathisch familiengeführtes BnB, das sehr gastfreundlich ist und sich um ihre Gäste kümmern. Man merkt, dass es ihnen wichtig ist, dass die Gäste ein gutes Erlebnis bei Ihnen haben. Abendessen sehr zu empfehlen. Matratzen sind recht hart, was uns gefallen hat.

Der Müll könnte nach einem Tag geleert werden, eventuell auch das Bett gemacht.

Siamo stati 2 giorni in questa guest house, ma saremmo voluti restare molto più a lungo! Per dormire è un posto comodo, funzionale, pulito e a 5 minuti in auto dal sito archeologico di Petra… ma non sono solo queste le ragioni per cui lo raccomando assolutamente. È semplice te un posto speciale! Shadi e il suo staff accolgono persone di tutto il mondo con grande cordialità e un genuino senso di ospitalità, ma allo stesso tempo senza invadenza. Vi daranno consigli preziosissimi su come visiate Petra. Preparano una cena gustosissima da condividere sul terrazzo, dal quale si gode una vista che scalda il cuore… e vi portano in giro in posti fantastici, dove farete il pieno di ricordi ed emozioni.

Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, non mi è piaciuto tanto il pranzo al sacco ma ho notato che è una cosa standard che preparano tutti gli hotel della zona.

Shadi is the best of all Petra, the best possible experience for Petra, listen and ask everything you want because he knows Petra better than anyone, born in the mountains of Petra, with him you will be able to see the places that tourists can't reach. Living this experience is essential. Super attentive staff, Jesica is the best, they will make you delicious food with the best views. We loved everything, from the reception to the checkout, Chadi is an amazing host, you can sense that everything is made with Love, very cosy stay, we have tried dinner one night and it was better than some restaurants downtown. He was very helpful with Petra park, he was ready waiting for us at 6am with a lunch bag and instructions he took his time to explain everything. Something that we found out was very necessary in order to do the trails we did, the staff was very nice too, Jessica was very attentive and kind, Delighted to have stayed there I would stay again and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Everything! Shadi is an amazing host. We arrived to the guest house from visiting petra and he offered fresh drinks and sisha. He told us about Petra and had a great conversation with him in the terrace at night time. The following day he gave us great advices to move around Petra and gave us fresh drinks for our trip to Wadi Rum. The views from the terrace are something else! The room is big and with all the facilities, very clean and comfortable. I totally recommend this place 😊. Thank you Shadi!

The host Shadi was amazing and will help you with planning, transport and itinerary. He's very knowledgeable about Petra and the ideal routes to take for different lengths of stay. If you want to experience Wadi Musa and Petra with a local touch, Jordan Guest House is highly recommended. We had a great, adventurous time here.

It was a cozy house family. All the time is offered anything to drink.

It was really noisy the mosque during the pray time, the first one starts really really early in the morning like around 3 or 4 am. If you have a light sleep I don't recommend it. I got a room with see through courtains, so the first lights in the morning were absolutely bright.

The host and the family was amazing. they were taken care of each guest personally. Rooms were perfect and clean, big enough to accommodate many people. Plenty of water, coffee, and snacks. Shadi was amazing host, he provide personal attention to every guest. it was amazing to watch sunset in Petra shaid provided. Also he guide us how to visit Petra and what to see, and little bit of history of the places we were visiting. The view from his apartment is amazing at night and early morning. The homely food he prepared for us was great, and very authentic. will return and recommend the place for all

Shadi is an incredible host! The whole family makes the experience amazing. We stayed 2 nights and Shadi gave us lots of information to visit Petra, he drove us to a sunset place, amazing food is cooked by the family.

from start to finish this was outstanding!! superb location with great views, we were upgraded to an apartment which was perfect for the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children). Shadi, the host, is unbelievable. truly, the best host you can find. friendly, extremely welcoming. He does what ever it takes to make your stay wonderful. he provided us with invaluable information about Petra and the surrounding area so that we could get the most out of our time there and also see some less visited sites. the sunset tour is a must! and the food- wow, just incredible Jordanian dinners each night that were so tasty . so much selection at dinner and breakfast. we would absolutely recommend the Jordan guest house. the best place we stayed at in Jordon, by far. thank you!!

The location was superb. Only less than 7 min from Petra visitor center. Its overlooking Petra and looks so magical at night with all the city lights. There is a bonus fellowship with the other guests at night and the staff with Jordanian music and hospitality.

Amazing host and view from the location. ~5 minute drive from the main tourist area. The host was extremely proactive in making suggestions based on visitors desires/requirements. For example he gave different suggestions for our family of 5 with small children than he did a group of young adults. He pointed out multiple places that we would likely get scammed, how to avoid paying more than we needed and what appropriate price ranges should be when negotiating. He also made a great environment to interact between travels. Our family of 5, including 1 small child were well taken care of and loved every minute of being at the Jordan House.

Cost was higher than I would have liked, but it was along the same lines of other available places the time we went. If the cost is not prohibitive to you than I highly, highly suggest this location. The host went above and beyond to make sure we got our value during our stay.

We loved everything about the Jordan guesthouse. Shadi, the host is the warmest and kindest person. He goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. He really is a star. In fact, all the staff are super lovely. The room was fab, the views…the breakfast and dinner, perfect. This was our favourite place to stay in Jordan and were genuinely sad to leave.

This was our family’s first guest house so we were worried but with the amazingly kind staff, lovely view, and perfect community. This is recommended for everyone!

The location is up high from the town, so it's a beautiful view of Wadi Musa. Breakfast was good. The dinner is very good and worth purchasing -- very communal and enjoyable experience with most guests apparently staying in for the dinner. The gentleman in charge of the guesthouse, Shadi, was always present, always helpful, enjoyable to interact with.

Top sheets for the bed (under the duvet) would be a good investment, so there's a sheet between you and the duvet which stays on the bed.

the staff were AMAZING! the host Shadi made the stay so memorable, he gave us excellent advice on how to do Petra in the most effective way. we felt soooo at home whilst staying there, the highlight of our trip. The chef Haleena was amazing she is a very talented cook, they did dinner together with all guests and had entertainment every night, shisha and music and just such an unmatched vibe. you do pay extra for dinner but it’s so worth it as we got tired of eating same stuff everyday so havin food at hotel made such a big difference and felt like we were at home. we did sunset buggy tour which was so beautiful and I got to do some horse riding with prior arrangement with Shadi. genuinely ALL the staff are amazing and are soooooo helpful, it’s so close to Petra visitors centre and you will find Shadi is so helpful and willing to drop you off. Ahmed and Sami are two other members of staff who also made our stay memorable and again were so friendly, we are two females (mother and daughter) but not once did we feel unsafe or uncomfortable, it’s a beautiful place to stay and I promise it beats all the 5* hotels around. you will get to see so much more of the Jordan lifestyle and be more entertained by staying at this guest house. such a hilarious bunch of people and we had so many laughs with the host!

We stayed at Jordan Guest House, which is in the heights of Petra City, after a trip in the Wadi Rum. How to say? Everything has been perfect from our arrival to our departure. We came as a family of 9 French people ranging from 6 to 67 and everybody had a wonderful time. First, we have been welcomed by a Jeep/Buggy ride to a fantastic viewpoint over Petra Valley to watch the sunset (for free), accompanied by Marko, a smiley Slovenian gentleman helping out at the guesthouse. In the meantime, Shadi had an open fire prepared and all the guests from the house gathered around it to get to know each other. (Not like in most hotels where you never meet your neighbors). Then we had a very good homemade traditional dinner (14JD/adult, 9 JD/teen, free under 12 years old) on a warm covered terrace with a nice view of Petra City. After dinner, the teenagers were given the opportunity to play pool/billiard and table tennis indoor (for free) until very late while we were resting in a very nice apartment (we had 3 rooms around a living room with couches, TV, and coffee counter). After a good night of sleep (very decent beds), the homemade breakfast has been served at the agreed time and Shadi/Marko gave us the best advice you can get on Petra's visit. In a word: going to Shadi's guest house is not made for people who like to stay in their room to watch Netflix, it is made for those who enjoy going to their best friend's house to have a good time together. Important point in Jordan: pricing was totally transparent and absolute value for money considering the quality of the service. It's not my first time in Petra, I can tell. Additionally, Shadi is a globe traveler, he knows exactly what to do to make tourists feel like home and this is priceless. Being a Jordan resident, I will definitely come back and send people over!

The neighborhood is a quite a work in progress so some angles of the view are not always pretty and we had to undergo some jackhammer sounds in the distance while relaxing during breakfast time.

The owner of the guesthouse, Shadi, was an amazing host who provided us with tons of information about the surrounding areas. When we arrived we were kindly greeted by Mark, the Slovenian co-host, who told us interesting facts and stories about the region we were in. Later on a campfire was lit and we had an amazing night with ample refreshments. The next day, after we visited Petra, Shadi had a surprise for us and told us to meet him in the middle of the Wadi Araba desert were we had a traditional Bedouin dinner. We also did a thrilling buggy-ride through the desert just prior to arriving at the camping spot and had a lot of fun. Our days spent at Jordan Guesthouse were surely the highlight of our 10-day trip through Jordan and we can't wait to come back. The day we checked-out Shadi even managed to call the local mechanic in town to fix our slightly damaged rental car at a reasonable price. All-in-all we loved everything about our stay and wish Shadi and Mark all the best.
