This is my husband and children’s 3rd stay at Villa Romar and we always have such a wonderful time at Rob and Maria’s beautiful home! We spent a lot of time in the pool and relaxed.

Great, lovely house and fantastic outdoor space with a beautiful garden.

Gorgeous and spacious home, pictures don't do it justice! We stayed with three families, totaling 6 adults and 3 babies (~1yr). It is a great space to relax, enjoy the sun and cook. Enjoyed walking to Zippers beach, and quick car trips to downtown, the more kid friendly (swimmable) beaches as well as Flora Farms. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools and appliances, and the washer/dryer was key for the messy kids. Very responsive hosts leading up to and during the trip. That being said, wouldn't recommend the home for toddlers - lots of beautiful art, stone floors, sharp corners and breakables. Better suited for a mature crowd.

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home. The outdoor area feels like heaven. So peaceful and beautiful! Interior was very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the gourmet kitchen. I would recommend renting a car as we had trouble getting an Uber and we were not sure how to get a taxi to the house. Also the pool was very cold I would recommend paying extra to have it heated for you. Though we were informed it would be soon getting a solar heater. All in all very happy with this home and would love to rent again.

The villa was in the perfect spot. Easy drive to/from the airport. Easy drive or walk to the beach. Easy drive to downtown San Jose del Cabo, amazing grocery stores, One and Only resort, and fabulous Farm to Tables outside the city. If you’re reading this review, book this villa. It’s absolutely stunning.

We first stayed at Villa Romar 4 years ago and loved it then, so we were surprised to find it had actually improved since then. There are many great, thoughtful additions, including comfortable sitting areas all over the grounds, which are lovely in themselves. It is the most comfortable and roomy house we've been in, and the location is just perfect. Being able to walk to beach every morning is really great, and the neighborhood is very peaceful & feels safe.. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, and responded quickly to all my questions. Thank you ; we hope to come back soon!!

Can't say enough about how wonderful this home is. It feels like your own private resort, incredibly comfortable and quiet with luxury all around. The home is very well stocked, with all items you might need in the kitchen to make any meal, higher end appliances and cookware. The master bed was very comfortable and big. Maria and Rob have furnished the home beautifully and all of the furniture is updated and well kept. When we were there is was in the low 80's but we still paid for the pool to be heated, which was completely worth it as we could swim after the sun went down. This is a very private home, neighbors are a good distance away and very few rooms have a direct line to them. Maria and Rob were both attentive and responsive, we felt very taken care of. I would highly recommend this home and would stay there again. Thank you Rob and Maria!

Maria's home worked perfectly for our family of four. Two older teenage children and their parents enjoyed having their own rooms and plenty of space to spread out. The pool was used and totally loved it. Maria is super responsive. Thanks for a great vacation and having the perfect place to stay,

Pictures do not do this beautiful home justice! From the moment we pulled up, to the time we left to go home, we enjoyed every minute! Claudia was super nice, Elba is an amazing cook and Maria was very easy to work with. We love Cabo and villa romar, we are counting the days until we can come back!

The property was absolutely beautiful. So much so, that it was hard to leave so that we could explore the area! January is a bit cool in the evenings, so we invested in propane for pool heat. It worked out well, as our 7 year old daughter barely left the pool. We would love to stay here again, highly recommend. Like others who've left reviews, we hired Elba to cook us brunch and dinner one day, with pool snacks/drinks in between. Awesome food and experience overall!

I cannot recommend Villa Romar more highly. My husband and I brought our two twenty-something kids and their significant others for a week. The house is beautiful and stocked with every amenity imaginable. The pool and large, beautifully landscaped yard far exceeded our expectations, as did the house. As others have commented, the pictures do not do it justice. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, where you can walk for miles. Thank you for being true to your word in every way you described your home and the area.

My family had a wonderful visit, we love Villa Romar. It was perfect - clean, beautiful, comfortable, relaxing, really well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space for everyone I recommend this villa very highly without hesitation. Many thanks for sharing this amazing place!

My husband and I booked Villa Romar to stay during Christmas with our 10 month old daughter, and my husbands 3 brothers and his parents. The house is beautiful and completely equipped with everything you need. There is wifi, Netflix, a phone, laptop and so much more. My husband and I stayed in the Casita with our daughter and Maria had a crib set up for us with worked out great for our daughter to take naps and keep her normal sleep schedule while the rest of the family could be loud in the main house. There are ocean views and the house is so close to grocery shopping, and restaurants. We also hired Elba to come cook for us the first night we were there and on Christmas. She was an amazing cook and so sweet. She had drinks and appetizers waiting for us when we arrived and after dinner was served she even cleaned everything. I highly recommend calling her to cook for you if you want to relax. We highly recommend staying at Villa Romar, you will be so happy you did. Maria is quick at responding and super helpful with any questions you have or anything you need, which is also a benefit.

We stayed at Villa RoMar this past July and couldn’t have been happier. The house accommodated our family of nine very comfortably. We have been to Cabo many times in the last few years but this was our first time staying in San Jose Del Cabo. We love a good time, but wanted something more private and peaceful in honor of several milestones and celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries, & graduations. Maria was so helpful from the first contact we had with her and upon our arrival she had Claudia greet and welcome us. The pool and waterfall were very relaxing and the flora and fauna were aesthetically pleasing. It was nice and quiet and we felt very safe. The pool casita was definitely an added amenity!! Zippers is a short drive or you can walk there. There is a food store called Mega only five minutes away and downtown San Jose is just a little farther. We highly recommend Villa RoMar and will definitely be coming back.

We had a great time in Cabo and the house was perfect for our family of five. Extremely clean, well furnished, and like new. The pool and outside areas were beautifully landscaped. It is well located high on a hill in Los Cabos. Very close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, and Cabo San Lucas. Maria and Robert were gracious and helpful hosts. We talked with Maria and Robert 2 times before we arrived and they hooked us up with fishing, a private cook, and great recommendations for activities and restaurants. Went out fishing twice and caught lots of mahi, rooster fish, and Sierra mackerel. We also road ATVs, went snorkeling, and just had fun on the beach. The day we arrived we were met at the door by Elba, our cook, with margaritas and appetizers. We then spent the next 4 1/2 hours with our 18 year old twins and 24 year old daughter laughing on the porch by the pool while being served a four course meal. When is the last time you had that great of family time with teenagers? Priceless! Maria called twice while we were there to make sure everything was perfect and was very available if we needed anything. Wednesday before lunch we discovered we had no water at the house. We called Robert who said "Welcome to Mexico", but they had us covered. They had an auxiliary water source that was suppose to take over in situations like this but the pump did not kick on. Maria immediately called a plumber who by the time we returned from our afternoon activity had everything working again! We did not experience any inconvenience because of their immediate actions. We had a wonderful time in Cabo certainly in part because of our gracious hosts and their beautiful home.
