Spacious, clean rooms with comfortable bed, good WiFi and warm shower. Location is in the city and good kitchen with all necessary amenities.

Lovely, authenticate hotel Very local In the center

It seemed a bit expensive to me compared with other places in Guatemala

The hostel was centrally located and close to shops and cafes. The owner was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. She was so nice that I feel terrible about leaving a negative review because I want her to do well. I really hope she takes some of this feedback on board.

As others have noted, this hostel was filthy. My room had been cleaned just before my arrival so there were no problems there, but the rest of the building including the communal areas and the kitchen were disgusting and had clearly not been cleaned for days if not longer. Rooms are dark and the only windows look out into the communal areas meaning that they are very noisy and you can hear everybody’s conversations. The shower was weak and tepid. In summary this place was fine for one night stay as it was cheap and I was not there very long. But I would not recommend staying here if you’re staying any longer than one night or you’re planning to spend much time at all in the hostel.

Location is great. It’s not near the lake but you are next to the street that takes you to the lake and to the shops. It a decent walk to the lake.

Good location. Has the basic services. Cheap. Good WiFi signal. I was able to check in earlier.

Pictures of the front doesn’t correspond to where you stay. Dusty. We had some cockroaches at night. I specifically asked if they had parking. They do, but I was not told that was an extra charge for it.

Clean, big room & bathroom. Towels provided

A long way from the dock (get a tuk-tuk for Q5) with not much to see or do nearby. You have to walk down a weird alley from the street which wasn’t very nice in the dark. The owner was friendly but spoke no English (partly my fault as I should be able to speak some Spanish) so I couldn’t ask her for any info. Very cold shower. My biggest issue was it was SO noisy. Loud music from nearby, endless cockerels crowing throughout the whole night (that isn’t the hotel’s fault but take ear plugs!) & builders starting at 6:30am. Think there’s better available & this wasn’t cheap in comparison to others!
