The room was nice and accommodated our whole family comfortably. The host was very kind, but she didn’t speak any English. There is a restaurant not far called Restaurante la Catarata that we highly recommend. It sits right on the river with an amazing view of a big waterfall. They have great food too.

When we arrived, there was no one on the property and all gates were locked. There are two phone numbers listed on the sign, but no one answered either until our forth or fifth try. They did not arrive to check us in until 45 minutes past the check in time. There isn’t much to do in the little town so we were just sitting on the side of the road waiting.

Fast Wi-Fi

No heat, TV, hot water. Shelf over sink blocked access to sink. Dogs barking at night, noisy neighbors, rooster crowing at 4:30 AM. Freezing in Costa Rica.

The facilities are well equipped, there is an space to be quiet and relaxing

It seems to me that the cold gets into the room through the windows, it makes the room very cold at night. Rooms are well equipped with warm bed linens, but maybe it can be improved

Very good location in a quiet place. Good food and very friendly host. We would definitely return:))

People treated us very kindly and they were always very attentive. The location is really good and all the meals fantastic!

Nice little cabin

In town, too close together, noisy neighbors

Great breakfast, very spacious cabin, comfy bed, extremely friendly and accommodating staff

Not great noise insulation in the cabins, wifi cuts out every day or two but we just asked the staff to reset the router each time and it worked fine after that
