Good budget hotel. The room was big, the shower was hot. Breakfast was included and there was a choice. The hotel is next to the bus stations so good location if you have an early/late bus. Lots of places to eat around.

No window in the room. The area is a bit sketchy but I left early to catch a bus and there were plenty of people around and I didn't feel unsafe.

Wi-fi worked well in my room; room was clean; breakfast was decent; close to plenty of shops, restaurants, and the pedestrian street; within walking distance of the Tica bus station which is very handy

Bathroom smelled a little moldy; the neighbourhood was slightly unsavoury; the room was a bit rough around the edges

The hotel is good located to get to the bus terminal 710 and to the center. You can go for a walk and get a feeling of San Jose.

Good value. Close to centre of town (15 mins walk): theatre, museums, etc. 5 mins walk from airport bus terminal. 10 mins walk from Atlantic bus terminal to Caribbean coast. Comfy, clean room. Decent breakfast (Typica/pancakes/fruit).

The area is quite seedy and we were hesitant to venture out in the evening, after dark. TBH most of SJ is like that and we did go to the restaurant round the corner, La Casona Typica, which was fine.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Staff is kind, but unfortunately speaks very bad English. Also, one morning we were leaving for tour and hotel was not able to provide us with breakfast box (which was included in our booking). I believe 3-star hotel should be able to give at least a pack of juice and a sandwich in such circumstances.

The room did not have a window and I felt confined. I ordered fish in the restaurant and it was soggy like it had been frozen and not fresh. The location and price was good if you just want a place to crash for the night.

The hotel is good, the bedroom and the bathroom were clean. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and everything that you need, tv and wi fi included. There's also a restaurant. It's close to the main buses terminals (the bus terminal Tuasa to/from the airport as well). We booked this hotel 2 times for our arrival and departure in San José, but because of a very long delayed of the flights we weren't able to arrive in city that date. The hotel cancelled our booking without any charge, we really appreciate the gesture.
