한적한 곳에 있지만 번화가까지 차로 10분이내에 갈수있고 근처에 맛있는 음식점이 2곳이나 있었어요 객실도 아늑하고 직원들도 친절합니다. 게스트 하우스에서 운영하는 유료 스노클링 투어도 재밌었습니다 그들만 아는 비밀의 멋진장소였어요. 수건이나 세탁등도 무료라 (건조기만 유료) 물놀이가 잦은 미야코지마 여행에 너무 편리했습니다.

본체의 1인실이 있는공간은 복도를 따라 키친+리빙룸(공용공간) 이 있는데 밤11시가 넘어도 큰소리로 떠드는 사람들이 있었고 그 소리가 복도를 따라 방까지 이어집니다 ㅠㅠ 호스트는 이점을 게스트에게 주의할 필요가 있어보입니다.

The room and property were very well-kept and extremely clean, and the amenities were excellent. There were both bath towels and beach towels, coffee and tea, and kitchen space with a refrigerator. There was plenty of parking space, and the property itself was really nice, with outdoor areas to sit and relax and lots of plants and green - it was a very quiet, relaxing, and pleasant atmosphere. The room looked very new, the decor was quite cute, and there was a nice vanity with mirror, which was very appreciated. The staff members we spoke to were also quite friendly and kind. Although I myself used Japanese with them, it did seem they could speak some English which travelers from abroad will appreciate.

The staff never seems to answer the phone, even within reasonable hours, e.g., 1pm-9pm. E.g., we tried calling a few times for directions when we first arrived but no one answered; and a few days later we had car trouble and were hoping the staff could help, but no one answered the phone. We wound up needing to find and ask a police officer for help, and finally were able to get a taxi back to the hotel. This was very stressful and we wondered what the point was of including a phone number if no one answers it. As for the room, there is not adequate storage space in the room to keep clothes and such (why is there not at least one shelf?) and not enough hangers or space to hang towels or to dry wet bathing suits. We had to hang things from the doorknob outside, which is obviously not ideal. The bed is really uncomfortable, it's like sleeping on a hard floor. Finally, the door had been hung crookedly which made the lock difficult to open - I struggled with it many times, and at one point, we were nearly locked in the room! We finally were able to figure out a trick to push/lift the door at the same time as we jiggled the key in the lock which finally got it open. Not sure if it was the original construction or the humidity, but that is an issue that should be fixed as it will cause many travelers irritation - what if someone got locked in, and the staff didn't answer the phone?

I think you need a car for staying anywhere in Miyako, we had a car so there isn’t anything at all that we didn’t like 😁

Amazing guesthouse just next to Sunayama beach, the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They made us feel at home for five days, and even showed us around the local festival that was taking place on Miyako. Iru the dog is also very cute and friendly:) Would 100% recommend to anyone wishing to get some peace and quiet away from the touristy areas of Miyakojima. *Also for animal lovers, we saw a bunch of animals like coconut crabs and peacocks next to the beach so that was a huge plus for me:)

It's pricier than what we usually go for since we're on a small budget but it was well worth it for the location. Bit far away from restaurants but if you like walking it's no problem

Owners are helpful. It’s clean . Cottages are comfy. AC is perfect (it’s VERY hot in august). You can rent beach stuff at very good prices.

It’s far from the city center and there are no restaurants or markets around. It’s developing. If you stay here make sure you rent a car or a motorcycles.
