Great property. Large, well appointed, well constructed, thoughtful layout, comfortable, quiet - and plenty to do nearby. Families large or small will really enjoy this. And Folly Beach is great beach town, with easy 30 minute access to Charleston.

Beautiful home in a secluded location - yet not too far from the beach. Would recommend renting the golf cart at the house to get around Folly Beach. Would stay here again.

The house was a great space for our family. We enjoyed the multiple areas for relaxing. It was a short walk to the beach. It was easy to get to town by walking or using the golf cart.

Great family vacation after not being able To travel last summer. Perfect for me, my children and grandchildren. Close To everything.

Sand in your shoes: Was a very charming, spacious, well located, clean and comfortable home for our family to spend the week at Folly Beach. From there we were able to access Charleston very easily, a short ride. We also were able to drive to other sights. We would easily and highly recommend it to other families looking for a summer beach retreat!! Thank you for hosting us!

A group of friends and I got together to spend a week in Folly Beach at this amazing property - we couldn’t have been happier with everything. From the outdoor seating area with an outdoor TV, to the hammock, to the spacious indoor set up, this house has everything you could possibly need and is located no more than 2 minutes from the beach. Book without hesitation!

Our family really enjoy staying at this property. The only thing I will say is that if you want a golf cart for your stay, call we’ll in advance and reserve one. The listing makes it sound like a cart is on property that is available to rent, but that is not the case and you really need the cart w/the parking situation on the island

We are a family of five (3 boys 20 and 18yr old twins) and we had 3 family visitors for the weekend. Our favorite room was the porch and loved having my coffee there each morning. The boys loved their space upstairs and the ping-pong TV area downstairs. The house design truly perfect. The golf cart was great- I highly recommend renting the one in the picture. Absolutely loved this house! Fantastic location if you are looking for something more quiet and secluded. Wonderful layout that included everything we could ever need for our stay. Super kid friendly (we had our 4 year old and 8 month old) and we appreciated having plenty of beach toys/gear for the week. My only recommendation would be to have small step stools for the little ones to reach the sinks. Overall, we will definitely be back to this house.

We stayed here over Christmas break, and loved it. Downstairs has an open floorpan allowing for family to interact and spread out. Kitchen is very nice and allows for easy preparation of family meals. Large dinner table is perfect for family dinners or board games. Our kids enjoyed the upstairs room to get a break from adults. Location is an easy walk to the beach or downtown. Very easy drive to seafood market or Harris Teeter grocery store. Highly recommend "Sand in Your Shoes"!

Truly enjoyed our stay at the house. The house was very spacious and the living room/kitchen was such a great place to hangout with everyone. The kids toys were a bounus as our 3 year old enjoyed them. HVAC was in great working order as we recently had a bad experience with another house. All in all it was a great stay.

The house was amazing! Wonderful condition, modern, perfect location with easy access to beach and Center Street while offering privacy for some rest and downtime. The floor plan was perfect for us traveling with two teenagers, as they had their own bedrooms, full bath, and den area upstairs to themselves. The first floor has a wonderful open kitchen/living room/dining area offset by a screened in porch. Additionally, it was great to hang out after the beach playing ping pong in the carport below while watching television and grilling out! I would definitely recommend adding the golf cart rental to your stay - it was very easy and the company was a pleasure to work with. We have nothing but good things to say about our stay here and look forward to it again next summer!

Exactly what we were looking for to host our family reunion. Plenty of room, and wonderful amenities. Great location, close to the beach and dining. Very clean and well kept.

We felt both comfortable and safe throughout our visit. The home was welcoming, quiet, comfortable, spacious, and had all the necessary supplies to make your vacation fun.

Loved it

This was our first time at Folly Beach and we loved Sand in Your Shoes! It was exceptionally decorated and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. We especially loved the outdoor sitting area, the screened in porch and the overall lay out of the house. It was a short walk to the beach and to the downtown area but we love that the house was at the end of the street which made it private and peaceful. We can't wait to visit again next year.

Had an amazing stay here overall with a few issues that we feel have to be shared & addressed so we'll break our review down into LOVES, MISSES and SUGGESTIONS: LOVES: EXTREMELY modern and luxurious home (have literally thought of everything), VERY clean, layout is beautiful, cornhole boards, ping pong, boogie boards, beach chairs, hula hoops, grill, screened in porch, kid's playroom, master bedroom (his and her sinks on each side was great, shower is amazing!) huge walk-in closets, long hose downstairs (which kept sand out of the home all week), fully enclosed outdoor shower, lazy afternoons surfing over 500 channels on the 60" screen (selection includes 50+ premium cable channels like HBO, Showtime, Cinemax and Starz), the AC system for each floor is so cool, huge open kitchen is fully equipped (spices, seasoning, awesome beach cups, koozies, zip lock bags, etc), awesome fridge, location (secluded up against the marsh but only 3 blocks to beach), proximity to Center St., games, cards and more! MISSES: 1) Massive pest/insect infestation (no, not Palmetto Bugs b/c of course there will be some bugs and insects at a secluded beach home in the woods) - what we experienced was unacceptable for a high-end rental like this and was enough to make us want to be moved to another property. We are grateful to Alex though at the property mgmt company who REALLY worked hard to tackle the issues and went above and beyond to make sure they were addressed quickly. He was on top of it. 2) Dryer was broken which is a huge inconvenience when you have lots of wet beach suits and towels. They were able to get it working within 24 hours of being notified which was great - but NO detergent provided as promised in the welcome letter. 3) No propane for grill which we discovered on 4th of July after we got all of our food ready for grilling - no backup tank as promised in the welcome manual. 4) Trash cans were overflowing upon arrival full of flies and STINKY seafood - not a great 1st impression. 5) E. Huron ends at the 400 block - hard to find where Huron picks up again and the road is unpaved (full of HUGE potholes and standing water which does a number on the car). SUGGESTIONS: 1) Basic checklist for home - is trash emptied, do the appliances work, is propane available, is there no sign of the bad bugs? 2) Would help if welcome letter said spices and cooking oils, beach chairs and toys, etc. were provided. 3) Don't cheap out on TP & paper towels!

The house 'Sand in Your Shoes' house was great. We enjoyed the open floor plan.Never felt we were in tight house with the 9 of us.Easy walk to the beach and downtown.Folly Beach was a fun town.Would be a 5 star if we could find it. Came in at dark.Just give better directions to it

5 Stars and More!! This house is new and is very comfortable and we appreciated the extra touches that the owners put in to making it feel like home. We really enjoyed having "happy hour" outside to watch NCAA March Madness with the big screen television and cozy outdoor seating. Great "off the beat and track" location however still close enough (walking or biking) to the beach, Center Street, lighthouse, etc. The rental company (Discover Folly @ Carolina One) was very responsive, accommodating and genuinely went out of their way to make our stay a positive one. We have been coming to Folly Beach for over ten years and this rental company far exceeds any of the others that do Folly Beach rentals. We hope to come back "same time, next year!" Thank you for amazing memories.

We had such an amazing time. The house was a perfect location to downtown and the beach. and it was great for the kids too.

AMAZING House! We spent New Years Weekend with friends and the house was perfect. We had 3 couples with children and there was enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves! The location is tucked away for privacy, but very close to the beach and downtown Folly! I hope to stay in this house many more times!

Had an amazing New Years Eve with good friends and family. We had 3 families (two with young kids) and we had plenty of space. House was well appointed with everything we needed. Kids had lots of space inside and out. Close to the beach and town. Great weekend getaway. I plan on staying here again and again! Love Sand in your Shoes!
