House was pleasant and process was easy. 3 critiques. One, linens are not included and you need to bring your own. That was made clear before visit but required extra packing. Two, the TV required more technical skill than we had to keep going consistently. Three, bedroom is up fairly steep steps and requires some dexterity to move around. This is difficult for guests of “a certain age” to navigate safely. We slept on the sofa couch to be safe. I think property is better suited for guests who are younger. Main floor was roomy and very well appointed. Whoever decorated has a nice eye. It was lovely. Owner was very responsive. Great property for the right guests.

We were only able to stay at this property for one night due to plumbing issues. The owner was extremely responsive -- checked out the issue right away and offered us an alternate property to use for the duration of our stay. Wasn't at this original property long enough to truly offer an opinion - but can attest that the owner is great to work with and his other property worked out very well for us.

My son and I rented this house while at OOB visiting family. Super clean and quaint. Perfect for just the two of us. Close to everything, but far enough not to hear the train. The ac was a plus! Also, there is a great coffee shop right around the corner that we could walk to every morning.

Small for a family of 4, but loved that we could bring the pup and we had all the kitchen tools needed to make things easy! Definitely recommend driving down to the beach if you have kids, but walk was fine for us adults. Love old orchard beach!

But the owner gave me parking tips that totally helped out. And my kids loved the easy access to the water parks, the amusement park and other activities. We actually ran out of time! The owner's communication was prompt, thorough, and courteous (sometimes even humorous!)

Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. We walked the dogs daily and had great conversations with neighbors! Not too far from the beach, bring a wagon if you can.

We loved hanging out in the apartment. It has tasteful decor & very well equipped. We think Christopher did a great job with this place. And we completely recommend booking with him! He even recommended us some places to try lobster and they were great!

Very nice little place on a quiet street.

Cute place - perfect for 2 people and our dog. We didn't walk to the beach, we drove down to the pier but next time would definitely walk as parking can be a pain and expensive down there! Good location.

The property was clean when we arrived and had all the household items needed for basic cooking and cleaning throughout our weeks stay.

Pictures don't do justice to this beautifully put together cottage. The cottage is spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything you need for a long stay. Short walk from a beautiful beach. This was our first vacation in Maine and we wanted to explore different regions and the location was perfect for our excursions. Probably best suited for 2 people/couple, but there were 3 of us in our party and it was very comfortable nonetheless. Overall a wonderful choice. Thank you, Chris!

The property manager was very responsive, and the property was perfect for our family of two adults, two kids, and two dogs. The fold out sofa was surprisingly comfy, and the kitchen had all the essentials anyone could need to cook. Easy walk to beach. We were higher maintenance than most due to COVID concerns and the property manager was very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

The cottage was super cute and just what we were looking for to get away for a few days. Close to the beach, grocery stores, and restaurants. Its a perfect location to everything yet set back and quiet. It has everything you need to cook in and relax.

We had a great time. The house is perfect for a couple and within walking distance to the beach and Old Orchard Street Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a well-maintained house with a fully stocked kitchen. The barbecue grill and outdoor dining area is a plus also.

The Meier's are nice hosts. The cottage was perfect for me and my husband and the kitchen was well equipped. It's nice to be near the ocean but not too close to tourists. We could easily walk to the ocean. We enjoyed our stay!!

My wife and I spent 7 days here as a stopover in our move to Portland. First off, the host is very responsive and helpful. The space was perfect for two people with all amenities you could possibly need. The upstairs is nice and cool for sleeping with an AC if needed, the kitchen worked great for our needs and the living and dining areas provided plenty of room. The backyard is quaint with a BBQ and outdoor dining table. We used it most nights. If going out is your thing, Old Orchard Beach waterfront is an easy walk down Union and provided dining and bars as needed. Directly behind the cottage is a small business plaza with a small dining establishment that has great breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Hannaford Grocery Store is only 2 miles away and other dining options are an easy drive. Finally, if you want to go into Portland, it is only approximately 20-25 minutes away. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. Thanks!

We really enjoyed staying for the week. Quiet neighborhood but a good walk to the beach. Plenty to do in the area and not far from Freeport, Portland and areas if the sun isn't shining. Small but perfect for a small group. Pull out couch not as nice as a bed. Unfortunately, typical of that type. Otherwise, a great place.

We absolutely loved this charming cottage. It had everything we needed for or beach vacation. Quick walk to the beach. Neighborhood was quite and beautiful. We enjoyed going down town, the food, the amusement park... it was sunny and beautiful. We will definitely come back. Chris, thank you for making sure we enjoyed our stay. You have a beautiful place.
