Great location in the city, lovely old neighbourhood (might look sketchy but is actually safe), very close to the main avenue, the Praia da Saúde beach, the road leading to Serra da Arrábida and all the amazing restaurants nearby. Parking is easy to find. The house is small but very clean and comfortable for 2. The kitchenette has the main essentials for a couple to cook simple meals and it has a Nespresso coffee machine. The room is very good, with extra pillows available, a nice open wardrobe and the bed is comfortable (no windows though so not suited for some people). We liked it and would book again.

The bathroom sink is very very small, so it was a bit odd for little things like toothbrushes/paste, face cream, etc... I'd suggest a small basket/shelf on the wall for those, it would really make it more comfortable and practical. Same for the shower. Also, there is poor sound isolation so if you happen to have people in the apartment above, you'll hear all the noise of people walking, talking, etc... It wasn't a big issue for us, but for light sleepers it might be.

The location is great and the kitchen/living room and bedroom are spacious.

- The communication with the host was unpleasant. We had to wait an hour outside before we could check in. The boiler also made an annoying noise which kept us awake at night. When we informed her, we were told that the boiler worked fine before we arrived. The following nights the boiler continued to beep and when we reported this again, she ignored us. - The bathroom was too small. You couldn't properly use the sink. - The kitchen wasn't equipped with proper tools to prepare meals.
