Living room is as pictured and a great area to visit and watch the ocean. We could even hear the ocean which we totally enjoyed. There are up to four sets of stairs to climb so be ready for it. Loft bedroom had only two outlets that worked out of at least 12. Very nice home overall. Bed comfort not like home. Manager very responsive. Our door code did not work but was able to get code to use door key. Location is great being so close to the Casino, shopping and restaurants. There are maybe 6 deers in this small neighborhood that are fed by the locals. It was fun to watch them. Very tame.

First time away with a new partner. House was great, clean and great views. A little dated could use a refresh, but no complaints.

A spacious well-appointed house with great gathering areas and amazing views of the ocean. 5 people and 3 dogs had plenty of space to stretch out. The local deer population is adorable as the neighborhood pets! We also enjoyed the short walk to the trailhead and the hike The Knoll and God's Thumb. The Less-Than-Ideal I wouldn't recommend this house for those with mobility issues or a young children since you have to park about 2/3 of the way up and walk up the last part of the very steep drive to enter the main floor, or you have to enter at the basement level and walk up a lot of stairs. It is also quite a walk to the beach and a drive to any form of entertainment or restaurants in Lincoln City. That said, we planned ahead and made most of our meals in the awesome kitchen, so there is that! The 2nd issue is cleanliness: overall, the house is clean, but it's clear there have been some doggie accidents by the very stained carpet. I am a super-smeller and travel with a cleaning kit and we realized quickly that our very well house-trained dogs were picking up scents so we were vigilant to make sure they didn't have accidents. Finally, the rental company communication was terrible. The contact info is blank and they neglect to mention that information comes from "GuestExperience" that ends up in a spam folder. We only got into the unit since the maid left the door unlocked and then we called to get entry info. Very stressful start to our vacation!

We had a quick trip over to the beach and the house was perfect! The property was as expected and the check in process was seamless.

The house is very comfortable and we felt our toddlers and pets were welcome. The stairs could be hard for some and the steepness of the property, but it provides the great views. The beds were very comfy as were the furnishings and appropriate to what we needed. We walked to the beach multiple times but there is parking close if driving is preferred. Our family enjoyed the house for our mini getaway and it was the perfect base location.

We had a lovely time at Neptune Lookout! The house was in great condition and the check-in/out process was very easy. The house is a few blocks from the beach, but it has fantastic ocean views from the living room and balcony. There are a lot of stairs in case you have folks in your party that have issues with stairs. We were really happy and hope to rent here via Meredith's Lodging again. Thank you!

We spent Father’s Day weekend in this beautiful home. The main floor was terrific with wonderful views. The only concern would be for people who have limited mobility. The driveway is very steep and there are are two flights of stairs to get to the main floor.

Perfect for a family get away, beautiful views

My family and I were looking for a nice, quiet place away from the crowd and this was exactly what we were looking for. The place was as described and same as the photos on the listing. It’s clean, comfortable, had a beautiful view and a nice neighborhood. There is a family of deer that freely roams around the neighborhood, just beautiful. This was a last minute decision to visit Lincoln City otherwise we would have stayed longer. Thank you for hosting us!

The location of this property was perfect for us. Walking distance to ocean and walking trails were easily managed especially with our 2 dogs. This house is beautiful but would not work for someone with mobility issues due to the 4 flights of stairs. Great exercise for those who enjoy a workout, and a lovely decorated home with gorgeous views.

Beautiful views, great for a family vacation!

It was a lovely property in a lovely neighborhood. A few too many stairs for our 16 mos old grandson but we made it work. The kitchen was well stocked for those who cook. There was some confusion about the trash. WE did NOT leave trash outside the cans but we think the guest at the neighboring house did. Our dog did have a reaction to something in the rugs. Otherwise a very enjoyable 4 days.

It’s just a short walk to a great beach. Kitchen is well-equipped and we especially enjoyed the large comfy sectional in the great room.

We really enjoyed this house. The views were spectacular. The furniture was very comfortable. The loft bedroom upstairs was great along with the jetted tub. And the walk to the beach was very short. The only issues we had was with the check-in process. We could not get in house. The key code did not work because we owed 2 cents. We originally paid in full but they recalculated the taxes and we ending up owing 2 cents so we were locked out. We had to drive back into town to get it straighten out because cell service is very weak at the house.

The house was beautiful, except the jacuzzi bath didn't work, the king bed upstairs was broken so it folded in the middle. And a few ants in kitchen. Other than that it was very comfortable. Be ready for lots of stairs. Also maybe a curtain on top floor so people out side or in living room won't see you getting out of shower and getting dressed.

The house was perfect for our needs. Spacious and comfortable. The deck and the views were incredible since the house sits up on a hill but it was a only a short walk down to the beach. The house has a ton of stairs but we were prepared for that. Well equipped kitchen and nice furnishings. The downstairs shower does not drain at all and based on prior reviews it seems like this is an ongoing issue. We let the property manager know, but the shower is useless until the drain is addressed.

Went to have a short getaway. Arrived and door code did not work. Was able to call and get a new code. House says they have Direct TV, but they don't. Only have ROKU. No way to watch regular TV. The guys were looking forward to watching the playoff football games on Sat. No way to watch. Someone was supposed to call us about the issue, but never did. Needless to say, the guys were not happy. The hot water in the basement is only lukewarm. Also, Friday night the shower clogged and would not drain. Someone came out Saturday and fixed it. Well appointed with plenty of room, but needs a deep clean, spider webs and dust bunnies. Beautiful view and great location.

We liked it so much before that we returned. This was a getaway after the busy holiday season. The house is comfortable. Things work. You can hear the roar of the ocean while laying in bed, and you can see the ocean, which you overlook from a hill. Beach is very easy to access, and Safeway is just down the road. Only downsides for us were miscommunication over the entry code. And a clogged shower drain. Management Company was very responsive in fixing both problems immediately.

Great location; roomy, yet cozy; and great views. Equally important, the rental company was responsive to our needs. We had a wonderful time!

Furnishings were shabby, especially bedrooms. House was not very clean; spider webs, dust, etc. The kitchen was fully supplied, too many stairs (our fault for not realizing this). It was at least two hours after arrival to get in. The door code would not work.

Loved this place !! Amazing views we will be back for another Family vacation. Close to shops beach access was alittle challenging with 2 special need young ladies but overall we managed .lots of stairs you kind of get use to it ..

My family had relaxing stay at Neptune’s Lookout. I would recommend this location to anyone with good knees! The stairs were steep and difficult for everyone in my family.

Meredith lodging was amazing to work with. The house was very clean and cozy. The amount of stairs in this particular house was hard for my elderly in laws and it was also hard to keep track of our kids. Will definitely book with Meredith Lodging again but not this particular house!

I read about the stairs but golly two flights to get to the kitchen . House was clean and kitchen well equipped. Quite the rainy weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the deck. Ended up driving to beach access point . Would not rent again due to stair and beach access

Great house, our entourage include 6 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs. There was room enough for all of us.

Impromptu trip to Lincoln City for my birthday. Our stay was 5 star all the way. Beautiful home with amazing view of the ocean from the great room and master.
