Our family had a wonderful experience in the home while enjoying Santa Barbara. The house, its porch, the pool, the view, and the dual public spaces provided an outstanding base of exploration. Its close proximity to the action made it doubly suitable. When we rent a house for vacation, we look for 3 things: An interesting house, a view, and comfort. We had all three here. And for desert, the hosts are top notch with excellent communication.

The house is beautiful, with amazing art, big functional kitchen, living, dining areas, and 5 very comfortable bedrooms. We were a large family of 9, and everyone had enough space and privacy. The patio with an awning is incredible, and we spent most of our time there. The host was very welcoming and available, and the check in was seamless. Views are spectacular. Many grocery stores and places to meet all your daily needs within 2-3 minute drive. Not a super walkable location due to just roads and not consistent sidewalks, but we still managed to walk around and go on runs (get ready for some hills). A perfect stay.

A casually elegant property that is sublimely private, yet close to the Butterfly Beach, local shops, and 10 minutes or so to State Street’s and other restaurants in Santa Barbara. The home is well-appointed with a modern chef’s kitchen, refreshing pool (that is serviced twice a week), multiple areas to lounge outside, a large dining table with barbeque. The home is tastefully decorated with art, books, and personal memorabilia and has all the amenities that one would desire for a family or friend vacation. The owners are very responsive and welcoming. Our family had a wonderful vacation in part due to ambience and setting.

Great house with terrific views of the ocean. The owner Richard met us at arrival and went over all the particulars about the house, absolute gentleman. The house has more than enough room to host a big family although it was only 3 of us. I would highly recommend staying here if your visiting the Santa Barbara area.

Ideal location with easy access to Montecito, beaches, Funk Zone and downtown Santa Barbara..House, grounds and pool were exactly as described - gorgeous. My family came from far and wide to attend my PhD Dissertation in Santa Barbara. It was a special event, and the home made it a spectacular week. The comfortable bedrooms and living area, gourmet kitchen, pool and jacuzzi, view of the ocean, and intriguing gardens all made the space welcoming. The treasures inside the home and on the walls reminded me of our trips around the world, and gave us conversation pieces for the entire week's stay. Kirstin and Richard shared their favorite restaurant suggestions as well.

The home was extremely comfortable for a wide range of children 4months-8 years. The garden and pool provided endless fun for the kids and the deck had a beautiful view of the ocean. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were all spacious. Hope to visit again!

We had a lovely stay at Richard and Kirsten's property. Conveniently located, enough room for all of us and the kids loved the pool. The Santa Barbara weather was perfect and we spent many nights on the verandah watching the sunset. Will definitely want to come back!

All beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and a delightful place to cook meals for ten adults. The location was perfect. We walked down to the little shops down the street. Great house. Our adult family of ten had a great time. There was room for everyone to enjoy our time together and have some space when needed. The kitchen is well stocked. The outdoor patio and swimming pool were our favorite places to hang out. Highly recommend this house rental.

We stayed at this beautiful home many years ago and I was ecstatic to see it available for my exact timing. The home is very comfortable, well equipped with an amazing view of the ocean. The owners are very responsive and have some amazing art and memorabelia in the house - I am not sure I got to appreciate it all. The pool is an extra bonus and we used it every day. Work was on the agenda while vacationing so access to the office provided the privacy I needed for a number of meetings. It was a perfect venue for our 2 week vacation. We can’t wait to visit again.

Our family of 7 adults and two teens enjoyed our week-long stay in this incredible 5 bedroom home in Montecito. It is full of art, photography and memorabilia. There are ample and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces to relax in, and a good-sized swimming pool with jacuzzi spa. The large kitchen featured two ovens and 6 burner Viking gas stove, subzero fridge, and two dishwashers. We couldn't have picked a better spot to gather for my husband's birthday.

This is a beautiful large property that is all about the outdoor spaces. Fantastic gardens, view, and deck! The hosts are very responsive. I was a bit disappointed in the mattresses and the Teflon cookware but the latter was resolved with a quick run to Target. Overall a wonderful vacation.

Very beautiful home.! We were extremely comfortable and loved the entire experience. Cool breezes and amazing sunsets on the patio with the pool and jacuzzi steps away made this a most relaxing vacation. Ease of delivery from restaurants in the area along with a well equipped kitchen made this rental a delight.The fact that we could take our little dog down to Butterfly Beach was the icing on the cake!
