Comfortable and clean

Shower over bath. I have arthritis and struggled to climb into bath for shower

We arrived and check in was very easy.The room and bathroom were lovely and the bar and restaurant had a great atmosphere.It was really nice to sit outside and have a few drinks in the fine sunshine. Evening meal was good and for starter, main, desert and bottle of wine the cost was very reasonable. Continental Breakfast the following morning was excellent.

Prima hotel met een leuke tuin, gezellig terras en een prima restaurant. Gezellig personeel die een vrolijke noot aan het verblijf geven. Het eten was erg goed, kamers schoon en roken fris.

Wij hebben 3 kamers geboekt, 2 kamers waren helaas wat aan de klein kant. Jammer dat het restaurant op zondag dicht is terwijl er op de site staat dat ze open zijn, maar we begrijpen dat de kok ook een vrije dag nodig heeft. In de buurt waren voldoende opties om te eten.

Nice pub/restaurant with rooms. Food menu looked good but we didn’t arrive in time for evening meal. The room was comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was continental. Maybe a bowl of chopped fruit would have been better than individual fruits.

We put ‘Station Road, Dorchester’ into our Sat Nav, but the Frampton Arms isn’t in Dorchester - it’s in a village called Moreton. Better to use the Post Code.

Easy parking, very comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, desk and fast wifi. Good breakfast friendly staff. Late check in no problem

Staff were friendly and attentive. Room clean and comfortable. We had an enjoyable evening in the restaurant followed by a drink in the pub afterwards. Lovely stay.

When we first arrived at breakfast the spread was running very thin and not enough for both to have what we wanted. However, on asking, the waitress quickly restocked everything.

A well presented guest house that has character and charm. We received a warm welcome upon our arrival which continued when we went down for our evening meal. The two members of staff that served us were genuinely attentive and friendly and I was struck by how mature they were for their ages. I say that in a very complimentary manner as they were young girls but had a presence and air about them of more seasoned professionals. The food itself was really nice - I had the ribs and it was probably one of the better meals I’ve had for a long while. It was my girlfriend’s birthday that weekend and I spoke to the assistant manager, who was able to organise a little something for breakfast the next morning. Overall it’s a great place to stay - warm, friendly, welcoming.

Breakfast was fine, not cooked unfortunately, but for the money it was quite adequate.

TV had no sound on BBC channel but it wasn’t worth causing a fuss for a one night stay and it was also late in the evening.

Been here before, clean, good food,outside area for chill with food and drinks.

The air-conditioning is a bit loud, but I was able to fall asleep.

It is a lovely place, the staff were very welcoming. The lunch and evening meals were very nice, the room was very clean and tidy and it was stocked with tea and coffee . We had a blackout blind ,which did its job well, considering we had a street lamp right outside our room. The staff are lovely, some places we've been to could learn alot from them.

I wasn't enamoured with the breakfast. It was a continental breakfast, so no egg on toast, etc. The place is in the small village of Moreton, which means you do need a car to get anywhere, or the train which is literally across the road. You do feel the rumblings off the train and lorries as they go past, but as the week goes on, you get used to it.

We felt that the Frampton Arms offered excellent value for money with a very clean and comfortable room. The buffet continental breakfast was perfectly adequate for the price we paid and non-dairy milk was available when requested. Staff were very friendly and flexible (see below).

Future guests should be aware that the kitchens close at 8 pm. Luckily we discovered this in advance of travel and the staff were incredibly accommodating. We were not due to arrive until around 9 pm, so the kitchen team gave us a choice of cold meals that they prepared in advance for us. When we arrived, the cold meals (a generous pork pie plowman's and a chicken winter vegetable salad) were ready and waiting for us. Great service!

No option for any eggs at breakfast

The continental breakfast was good, but I would have scored higher if a cooked breakfast had been available. This aside the staff were friendly, my room had everything I needed.
