My husband and I were in town for a special birthday party and we stayed at this wonderful new house. The house was immaculate, and Colette was very accommodating for early arrival. We really appreciated the Quality linens, towels, and special touches throughout the house. Super proximity to the town of Delmar and the ocean. Everything was walkable.. We will gladly stay here again! 😊

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Del Mar. it really couldn’t have been a better set up! You can even walk to the beach or town for dinner. The location is in a really great part of Del Mar! We were very comfortable with a full kitchen and having 3 bathrooms was an added bonus. The patio was perfect too. We will definitely book again!

There is a reason this property has all five star reviews. The property itself is fantastic. The furnishings are beautiful and everything is in excellent condition. The thought that went into the design and finishes of this house are apparent. Beyond the property at self, the location is perfect if you’d like to walk into Delmar for meals and shopping. It is far enough removed from the busier part of town. It is an easy walk down to 15th St. to access the beach. It is also walkable to the Torrey, Pines Beach, and even the Torrey Pines reserve if you are up for a longer hike. Colette is a great host and was very responsive to our questions and requests. We will be back!

We have been spending our thanksgivings starting years ago for our daughter playing soccer at Surf Cup. Our family has also been visiting the area since the 50's. Hence, we have spent a lot of time there with family, friends, or previous rentals. This was one for the books....

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is on a quiet street, beautifully appointed, and a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, and even an ice cream shop! Save an even to make dinner in the gorgeous kitchen! Grateful for the fun!

This place was as beautiful as it looks in the photos, and in fact, was gorgeous. The kitchen was perfect for the dinner we made and all the breakfast and snack prep we did. It was well equipped for meal prep and serve. Great location, walk to all and a block from the beach. I wanted to move in...

This was hands down one of the most beautiful rental properties we’ve ever stayed at. The decor, finishes, amenities, location- everything was exceptional. Perfect location to walking to beach and playground with little ones and getting to restaurants. Can’t recommend this property enough!

Can’t say enough good things about Penny Lane. Beautiful property with everything needed for a stress-free stay. Location and amenities as described, clean home with easy walk to beach and restaurants. Being able to walk to the beach and bakery was a morning favorite. Would definitely stay here again.

Penny Lane Beach Cottage was just perfect. Right next to the ocean with spectacular views and within walking distance to exquisite restaurants and shopping. Del Mar is absolutely charming and Penny Lane is smack dab in the middle of the charm!

This remains our favorite VRBO property. Really a 5 star hotel a block from the water, exquisitely appointed with absolutely nothing lacking. Colette has become a friend and is attentive to every detail. You can’t wrong if you are looking for a San Diego beach vacation in an amazing home. We are already booked for next summer.

Updated property with modern amenities and plenty of room. Location is excellent! Wifi was a bit of a challenge for some reason, but nothing to cry about. If you're dependent on wifi when you're in such a beautiful place, then you're doing it wrong. :)

I finally took a long awaited trip with four of my good girlfriends. This house was so perfectly appointed and spacious. Wonderful location with a short walk to the beach… and Jakes, Poseidon, and L’Auberge. We were able to walk to all of our activities! I can’t wait to return to this comfortable, inviting home; and enjoy Del Mar and all it has to offer! Plus, having a property manager that was so welcoming and accommodating was a huge relief. She helped us right away if there was anything we needed!

Perfect location for a casual stay near the beach. Delmar is quiet and perfect place to catch up with family or friends. Extremely clean and well kept with nice touches everywhere. Wish we could have stayed longer, and for sure will stay there again.
