The Lookout at West Beach is a beautiful property, finished and decorated to a very high standard. It's location is perfect for exploring Santa Barbara and the wider area and it had everything we needed for a super vacation. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and it was very easy to deal with the property agent. Should we ever return to the area, we'd definitely stay there again.

Lookout at West Beach was a fabulous stay. The apartment was just perfectly located near restaurants and shops, close enough to bike everywhere with the provided bikes. Everything one could possibly need was available should one want to cook or BBQ with the fully stocked kitchen. Comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels including beach towels. 2 minute walk to beach, 5 minutes to State Street. Well recommended - probably the best short term rental we have stayed in!

Location unbeatable. Walk to everything, oceanfront one block away. Terrific upper level unit, incredibly clean and well kept, sophisticated and yet relaxed. HIGHLY recommend!

Just as advertised!
The property was perfect and just as described on VRBO. We were coming from a hotel stay and really looking forward to experiencing a neighborhood in-town feeling and this place delivered. Very close to beach and shopping and the bikes and beach gear was a nice touch. Even cooked a few meals there as the views and vibe were just a s nice as any restaurant would be. We were in Cali for a 10-day vacation from SD to SF and this was our favorite place of the week. Can't wait to come back and enjoy more of Santa Barbara.

Loved the Lookout
We so enjoyed relaxing in this condo for a long weekend in Santa Barbara. Very convenient to the funk zone and the beach. Will look into staying again for next trip to SB! Make sure you check your email for the paperwork that needs to be completed. If checking in late, it’s a little challenge to find the driveway to park. It’s really great to have a garage, made it easy to store bikes.

Fabulous location. Easy walk to the beach and the restaurants and shops in the Funk Zone. We also used the bikes they had to enjoy strolling on State Street.

Just Beachy!
From beginning to end our stay at The Lookout was perfect. It exceeded our expectations. One little glitch at check in was handled so efficiently I barely remember it. 😉 Whenever we head to Santa Barbara this will be my first choice to stay.
Staff is excellent at communicating, helpful with local vibes, and not intrusive once you check in.
The noises others spoke of (Hotel Milo, garbage trucks, etc.) were not an issue at all for us. So much to do/see within walking distance.
The property itself is charming, clean, and very well cared for. The neighborhood is also charming, clean and well cared for.
The apartment has been thoughtfully decorated and is stocked perfectly.
We look forward to our next stay!

So accommodating
We showed up, and our property manager was there, Carol was so happy to walk us through and give us recommendations.
They even had a pack and play for our baby girl.
Only issue- directions on the knob for the shower (hehe)

Perfect location
My group and I stayed here for a long weekend, and we were able to walk everywhere that we needed to go. It is a 30 second walk to the beach, and at the most you are walking 20 minutes to get anywhere else.

Excellent Location!
Lovely space, perfect location. Felt very safe and secure. Loud on Thursday morning with garbage pick up and alley way. 3 bikes to use, unfortunately one had a flat tire we were unable to repair. Loved that we had a private garage. Overall wonderful stay!

Really beautiful property with lots of charm. Super easy walk to the beach, wharf and Funk Zone. Would highly recommend for families with teens and will definitely stay again.

Heaven by the Beach
This is an excellent base for a couple who wants close access to the marina area, downtown Santa Barbara and the Funk Zone and numerous nearby beaches. The interior is stylishly decorated with an excellently appointed kitchen. There is a small but functional outdoor area with a not very functional Webergrill. We stayed two months during the winter of 2021 and liked it very much.
