We LOVED our stay in Carmel. Everything about the property was perfect for our girls getaway. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and located in such a wonderful location. We were close to EVERY restaurant that we wanted to try, we were able to walk to the beach for sunset, and I enjoyed an every-morning meander around the town. I wish I could have stayed a full week and hope to go back sometime soon. Great location and nicely set up property. All the amenities are very nice. Coffee and half and half in fridge was a great touch. Bedding and towels were very lux just like you would do for yourself. Manager was delightful most the time. Out of scope was an odor in the unit. Issue was a mildew type smell when we first walked in. I put a washer cleaner pod in washer and it helped some but didn’t get the smell out. Ran taps etc and still … opened windows etc. It was an issue for me to have that smell In there. Daughter and husband were complaining about it too. Manager didn’t offer anyone to check or address while we were there. . I was surprised at no offer and recommended changing the gasket on washer after we left. And inspect after we left. An offer to come in would have been accepted. This issue should have been caught before we came and not first say the cleaners are just excellent as if I was wrong in assessment of smell. (Or 3 people wrong in my case) It did mar a bit the trip and being in the unit, So add to the clean score. Upper unit has a table for 2 for your use. Lower has a table for 4 that I noted. You have parking in front for 2 cars per unit in the property. Which is an advantage. Walkable to most. Manager allowed us to use the parking after check out time for a couple hours so that was nice. Beautiful place to visit. Out the door and you can walk hills through town to the ocean.

The home was perfectly furnished and everything was in great order. Cleanliness was top notch, and overall we loved this property! Since we make an annual trip to Carmel, this will be somewhere we’d love to come back to again and again. Highly recommended.

This property is in a superb location close to the heart of Carmel. My wife and I walked to restaurants, shops and the beach. This place is very clean and very comfortable.

Close to everything, excellent communication with Steve, lovely updated 2 bedroom with everything you need for a great stay, and thoughtful touches (half and half for coffee, Fuji water, Coffees), and an excellent check in binder with details and local information....well done! We were in the upstairs unit, there's not a lot of sound protection from those in the lower unit, so we were all careful to be quiet. Highly recommended, will definitely be back!

We visit Carmel often and booked this lovely property for my husband, daughter, mother-in-law, small dog and myself. It was absolutely perfect! Steve was excellent answering my concerns about stairway entry. We will definitely stay again. The location was perfect! The unit is beautiful and clean, just as described.

The property is as represented in the listing. Communication was easy with the owners, and the property is in great condition. A perfect locale to access Carmel-by-the-Sea and its shops, galleries, and restaurants. A short walk to the Pacific and Carmel beach. Ample parking if you are renting a car. We will be back!

I visited with my family. We really enjoyed our time in Carmel! The unit was very clean and well-decorated. Lots of nice touches and attention to detail with the kitchen and supplies. We really appreciated the coffee in the fridge and extra doggie bags. The TV in the living room worked great for movies and the beach chairs were fun. Steve also was very responsive over text. If you pressed us to ask for something extra--a larger pot would be nice for cooking seafood. My family likes to buy e.g. a crab in Monterey and cook it for dinner. Thanks Steve for the great trip. I highly recommend recommend this property.

This VRBO has an ideal location, it's within walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants and delightful coffee shops. 2nd stay here and I hope not the last !

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful flat in the heart of Carmel. Appointed beautifully with top of the line furnishings. The kitchen has anything and everything you need to feel right at home.

We've stayed here several times, and the experience never disappoints. Parking, location, amenities, and decor: all top notch. If your preference is to park your car and walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach (about 10 minutes) without ever having to drive, then this is the place for you.

Four of us, all in our late 50’s, stayed here for three nights in July. The property is beautiful and perfect for a group of four people. We’ll furnished and equipped for our stay with a great location in the heart of Carmel. Neighborhood was quiet at night and felt very safe. We’ll definitely stay again

This was our first extended stay in Carmel-by-the Sea and this condo checked all of our boxes for what we were looking for. Highlights include location, safe, w/easy walkablity around town, the layout, uncluttered, clean, comfortable furniture, stocked kitchen, w/d, and parking was a big plus. All we had to bring was our personal items, food and some flowers! We enjoyed the comfort of no A/C as there was always a cool breeze using the screened - in windows. We even used the fireplace one night. Although the beach walk was a bit much for us at our age and abilities, we enjoyed driving closer and walking the beach most everyday. Another big plus was our property managers, who were always attentive prior to our stay and during. They were alway helpful, and polite. We really enjoyed our stay!

This rental checked all the boxes. It is a beautifully renovated apartment. All the included amenities were appreciated;; great smelling soaps and lotion, plenty of towels and paper products the location is so convenient; within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the beach. Parking was so convent. We had an excellent experience and highly recommend this property.

I don't usually do reviews, but I wanted to write that all the 5-star reviews are accurate! The space was clean, modern, and so close to everything including the beach and shops. It was also very quiet considering we were in the middle of town!

Wonderful location, very quiet but still in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Easily walkable to dining and shopping. Beautiful space, super comfy and very welcoming. Nice touches throughout.

Of all the rentals we have utilized this one was the most thought out for guest use....everything we needed plus more.
