Perfect, great views

The apartment is very big and well equipped, although a bit dated. For a location, it couldn't be better. Train stop 7 min away, buses out front, bike/waking path and coffee shop a block away. SPAR grocery 3 blocks. You can walk along the river to old town Salzburg or up the stairs across the street and along the old battlements. You can see the old town and castle from the living room. Very nice at night

A wonderful home base from which to enjoy Salzburg. Just a short walk to either side of town, a few steps to the riverfront walk. Good restaurants very close by. Apartment is spacious and well-appointed. Would return for a longer stay in the future.

Stayed here for 3 nights between Christmas and New Years. It is wonderful - very spacious, well appointed. Being in walking distance to Old Town Salzburg was great. It’s a quiet building, we didn’t hear much of anything. Near a few bakeries, restaurants, and a world famous beer hall right across the street. Host was very communicative, and Mrs Hoffer was wonderful during check-in. Thank you, would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was much bigger than expected and had fabulous views. We were supposed to be greeted by someone who would let us in and show us around the apartment. We left numerous texts and tried to call but no one ever responded. We left texts for the owners and never heard from them. We finally contacted VRBO and they made contact with the owners who arranged for someone else to meet us. So we checked in a couple hours later than expected which was frustrating. Also be aware that all shops including supermarkets are closed on Sundays so plan accordingly ( we were not aware of this).

We just checked out today and we were truly sorry to leave. This was a wonderful place to stay as it was convenient to everything. We walked everywhere. The unit was elegant and very spacious. We look forward to returning…when it is warmer!!

We really liked this apartment. It was clean and updated with good sized rooms and plenty of space. It's close enough to the core to walk but a bit on the outskirts of same for more quiet and a little bit more of a locals feel. In a world of tiny European bathrooms and especially sinks, this was spacious! And the word is true for the rest of the place. While building has a lift, we couldn't get it to work so we walked the stairs all the time. I'd absolutely recommend or return to it. Check-in process involves meeting with property management and that was easy and smooth.

My childhood friend and I spent three nights in this apartment and found it to be very comfortable and convenient. It was nice to be able to wash clothes and have use of the kitchen. Lovely views of the old town. One side note-if considering renting this property and desiring the use of both beds, you will need to communicate that to the owner.

We stayed in this apartment in September. It is located in the Old Town in Salzburg and is a short walk from the center of tourist interest. The apartment is beautifully appointed and equipped. Everything is well-labeled and instructions for things like the dishwasher and washer/dryer were understandable. The decor is tasteful and serene. The kitchen is completely stocked with lovely dishes and flatware, matching pots and pans and several useful appliances. Everything is orderly and immaculate. The location allowed us to walk to shopping as well as to all the main to attractions. The neighborhood has a historic charm, with well-maintained properties, a wonderful church and nearby city walls. The owners were extraordinarily accommodating and helpful. They provided clear instructions, useful phone numbers and were very personable. This was an excellent stay for us in a beautiful city.

This apartment has everything. It is fabulously equipped and all instructions are provided. The room sizes are enormous and there are great views from many of the windows. The best thing is the location - just a short walk to the city centre and main sites. We were met on arrival and shown everything which was fabulous. Highly recommended!

This was a great place to stay with our family of four. Easy walk from the train station and to the old city for our kids (10&7). We appreciated the personalized list of restaurant/bakery/bar recommendations. The apartment was clean and elegant. My only complaint was the listing says there is A/C, but there is not. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Plus, it was right across the street from Augustiner Bräu!

If you are visiting Salzburg this is a nice place to stay. The apartment is in a great location that you can easily walk to all that Salzburg has to offer. They also provided coffee,tea and even though we did not cook, the kitchen was equipped. The apartment was large and comfortable. It also had amazing views. The reason I gave this review a 4 was because in the description it stated that it had air conditioning which it did not. While it has many windows to open, you could not leave them open too late because many bugs came in. The temperature reached 98 degrees, and it was very uncomfortable,luckily they had 2 fans. I also needed a hair dryer which I could not find, which was also listed on amenities. Overall, a wonderful apartment, and would stay again, maybe not in the summer though.

We loved our stay in Salzburg! This apartment was beautiful! The views of the river and castle were stunning! And so close to the Augustiner brewery. The place is huge with lots of space to spread out. So open and airy. Loved the huge windows. Short walk to town along the river. Bus stop just outside the door. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very clean And comfortable. Nice communication with owner. Very Nice views from the appartment. Easy parking at the Augustina Braü. Grab a beer for a free day parking. Slept well with windows opened because of warm weather days. Easy access to points of interest by walking beside thé river. Would stay there again!

Very large apartment, allowed us to spread out! We walked everywhere and were super glad to do our laundry (which for Americans use to quick wash, it takes hours and hours to complete!). The separate shower and toilet areas made the space easy to share. The manager gal did a great job at check in and was very nice. She accommodated our arrival time and did a good job. Thanks!

Beautiful stay in this large 3rd floor apartment, with amazing views from double glazed/framed windows in a small 4-5 storey old but well maintained secure complex. Location is absolutely amazing and central. If you’re after an authentic Austrian stay look no further.

Wonderful apartment in an ideal location. Elegantly decorated with views of the Fortress and Cathedral. Has a well appointed kitchen with washer/dryer combo. Highly recommended!

Lovely space close to everything you wanted to see in Salzburg ! I would stay there again it's booked out well in advance

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent - close enough to the old town to walk there in 10-15 minutes, but far enough out of town to be quiet and restful. Also great proximity to walking trails.

The exceptional attention to detail makes this an outstanding rental. It was very clean, comfortably furnished with plenty of space for four adults, and centrally located with great eateries all around. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and we appreciated Wilfried meeting us upon arrival. It's a lovely stroll to the old city along the river, and there's lots of helpful info on hand. I don't understand the review that complained about the view. From the living room there's a stunning view of the old city, and we loved opening the windows to the spring breeze and chiming clocks, and church bells.

Location location location!!!! Lots of space and wonderful amenities! Would definitely recommend. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

I highly recommend staying here for your visit to Salzburg. Large and spacious. Extremely convenient to everything but not in the busy tourist area. Allows you to retreat to peace and quiet after exploring all day. River is near by and easy to get on walking path. The view from the condo is AMAZING! Grocery stores are within walking distance. We cooked one night and enjoyed the kitchen amenities. Host is very helpful in giving information and travel hints. I will stay here again.!

This is a beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spacious apartment within walking distance to the old town. Bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen and bath were great. Overall warm and cozy and the owner greeted us in person and provided all info to make our stay a successful one.

Our family of four stayed in Wilfried and Aurelia's beautiful flat over a long weekend. The flat is spacious, soothing, and has amazing light, with windows providing prime views of Old Salzburg. You have everything you need in terms of furnishings. And the location is fantastic! We were within a 10 minute walk of the old city and tour departure points via the river walk or the streets, near the train station, and quite close to river walk access and a pedestrian bridge to cross into the new city. There are also three excellent restaurants within a couple of hundred meters; try Cafe am Kai for breakfast and Barenwirt for dinner (but make reservations for dinner wherever you plan to go :)! We can't speak highly enough of the hosts or the flat, and won't consider staying anywhere else next time we're in town!
