Eagle Rock did not disappoint! Absolutely beautiful location. Pauline is very responsive if you have any questions. The home itself is very comfortable and spacious and has everything you need. We were a group of seven adults and we had all the space we needed. Sitting in the crystal clear hot tub in the afternoon looking out at the ocean was indescribable. We spent so much time on the upper deck relaxing, reading and watching the ocean for wildlife. There were a couple seals that hung out in front a few of the days and we had a pod of whales go by one afternoon. We filled the hummingbird feeder and had humming birds all day into the evenings. And the sunsets are spectacular!! Loved our time at Eagle Rock! Can’t wait to visit again!!

The place was nice but there are a few things you should know. 1. The listing said that more people can stay there than beds available. My kids slept on the floor. 2. You can't access the water. 3. We were charged WITHOUT CONSENT for damage that was not from our party. After reading the pages and pages of rules, we followed every one to make sure we were 100% respectful of the owners. We were afterwards accused of many things that were not from our party and charged for it. The place looks nice in photos but don't take a step in the door if you don't want to be charged extra for actually using the place. We had a nice quiet family weekend, but we were left with a very bad taste in our mouth which is disappointing to say the least. DON'T STAY HERE.

What a wonderful house! Plenty of room for all of us, on a beautiful oceanfront property. We created lots of wonderful memories! Would return and absolutely recommend.

It was wonderful watching all the boats and ferries cross in front and we even lucked out to see whales Great location for getting to activities and hikes on the island. Easy walking to a little cove and lovely marina Well stocked kitchen and nice layout for families to stay together We absolutely loved our time on Pender island, truly magical place and can’t wait to return another time!

The house was perfect for our family vacation. Great layout for older kids on the lower floor and adults on the main. Very quiet with a beautiful view. We’ll be back!!

Amazing location. Could stare at view endlessly. As mentioned kitchen stocked well. As in dont bring anything. Best kitchen, bar set up we've seen anywhere we've stayed. Bedrooms separated nicely. Front entry hall very nice for drop zone. Wifi strong (especially with 8+ connections). We came during a mini heat wave, blinds down it did get warm. Loved the extra kitchen suite downstairs. View spot was incredible. A really nice home with open spaces, providing some fun games and lots of laughter. Pender island made us all relax and be on island time after 2.5 years of no travel. Can't wait to book again if we are able. Pauline was fabulous to communicate with. Thank you x8

From deer staring into your bedroom window early in the morning to magnificent sunsets in the evening, Eagle Rock is full of delightful surprises big and small. The house is actually two self-contained and fully equipped units, perfect for our three generational family visit. Our youngest daughter and husband and kids had to run of the basement suite while the other adults could (theoretically) sleep in upstairs in spacious bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. The kitchen is ridiculously well equipped (two meat thermometers?) featuring everything from a snazzy wine cooler to a full drawer of spices. (We did add a bottle of dried basil. You’re welcome.) This is a professionally-run rental, and you can be confident everything will be in place, well maintained and of a high standard. If you want to grill on the propane barbecue, there’s not only one full tank in the grill but a back up just in case. Pots and pans of all sizes and descriptions abound. There are two coffee makers, upstairs and down. The lovely hot tub is clean and ready to enjoy. There is even a cable car lift (don’t lean on the gate!) to bring your luggage up and down from/to the parking area. Perhaps best of all, the setting is magnificent. The house is perched on a high cliff looking west over the channel to Saltspring Island. And it turns out the name Eaglerock is not just an affectation. A pair of bald eagles nest nearby and swooped daily across the coastline below us. Pauline was out of the country during our visit, but she left the house in the capable hands of Laurie, the housekeeper, who was helpful and welcoming and lived nearby. If you are looking for a comfortable, well appointed, spacious island rental in a gorgeous setting, you’ll be hard put to beat Eagle Rock. One caveat: the descent from the house to the cliffside sitting area is steep, but from there it drops straight into the ocean below. Kids need to be accompanied at all times.

We had a fabulous weekend away at Pauline's beautiful home. Right on the water, we watched the boats go by, had fun in the hot tub, and just enjoyed the nature and stunning views. Pauline was incredibly welcoming, and responsive to any questions I had. I'd stay here again in a second. :)

We stayed at the property on Pender Island from December 23 to 27th, there were 7 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 8. It could not have been more perfect. Beautiful home, breathtaking view. The kitchen was well stocked, we did bring most everything we needed but if you forget something I can almost guarantee the kitchen would have it. Pauline was terrific in responding to us when looking for kindling for the fireplace, it was already cut and bundled. My grandsons as well as the adults really enjoyed the foosball table. Nothing better than sitting in the hot tub with the snow falling. The area was in a quiet neighborhood, great for long walks. We could not have asked for more.

We had a wonderful stay here over New Years. There was lots of space for our group to spread out, and great living areas to hang out in. The two kitchens were a bonus, and they were really well provisioned. Great views of the water, even from the hot tub. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful relaxing Thanksgiving weekend. I’m very impressed at how well stocked the kitchen is, many properties don’t have much more than forks, knives, and a few pots. Not this place! They have everything you need to cook wonderful meals, and a nice large kitchen with stunning views of the ocean. Our friends and family who stayed with us all loved the place!

Despite a couple of hiccups on arrival, Pauline was quick to ensure we were well taken care of. The property is spacious, lovely and has a very well-stocked kitchen. The view is spectacular and the hot tub is great for the chilly island evenings.

We had a wonderful time in Pauline’s lovely home. The view could not be better and we were fortunate enough to enjoy seeing a pod of orcas. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. We were with a group of friends we have known for over 50 years but we all live in different towns so we make a point of choosing a nice place for our reunions and we all thought Eagle Rock was super.

We were with a group of friends we have known for over 50 years but we all live in different towns so we make a point of choosing a nice place for our reunions and we all thought Eagle Rock was super.

The home must have one of the best views on Pender Island, with large windows on two floors facing the ferry passage and Salt Spring Island. We enjoyed very different sunsets every night for a week, along with the frequent ferry sightings day and night. All of the bedrooms are spacious, and we appreciated having the fridge capacity in the two kitchens for our large group. The home essentially has a self-contained suite on each level, so everyone can find some private spot at any time. The foosball table got a lot of use. Anyone with physical issues should be aware that there are many stairs from the parking lot to the house on the bluff, so if you arrive to find the advertised trolley out of service, as we did, there could be some challenges transporting luggage. Also, the indoor stairs between floors had no hand railing, presenting safety worries for the older visitors. Wifi was inconsistent but fine when near the router. Pauline was receptive to hearing about concerns, none of which spoiled our great week at the place.

Our week was filled with hikes and easy drives, plenty to see and do, all accessed easily from Pauline’s wonderful home which made us actually want to work at the sink (such a view!!) All ages had a wonderful holiday

This home was everything as advertised and more! We were delighted with the home as well as the furnishings; the views were so beautiful they looked like pictures. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We would also like to send a shoutout to the person(s) looking after the property; it was immaculate.
