De ligging was voor ons heel goed om Waterloo te bezoeken. Ook het gebouw heeft een heel mooie architectuur vooral in het restaurant. De bar was ook een leuke plek om iets te drinken, het personeel was ook heel vriendelijk en het ontbijt was zeker in orde.

Er waren renovaties bezig in het hotel, en we zaten in een ouder gedeelte dat nog niet was vernieuwd. Soms kon je aan verschillende dingen zien dat een opfrissing in de kamer nodig is. Alles was wel proper en in orde.

Outsanding breakfast. The staff were really helpful. Rooms clean and linen was fresh.

Goed hotel voor op een doorreis.

Airconditioning in de kamer deed het niet net zoals een tweetal lampen. Misschien kleine details maar wel opvallend bij een Van der Valk, wij hebben deze altijd als enorm gedetailleerd ervaren.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. They also have a great bar service and plenty of free parking. They only have 2 electric car chargers but complimentary so try and get there early to get one. There is a lovely Bistro opposite and walking distance.

There was no air conditioning in my superior room. I suggest you book and check your room has AC - especially in the hot summer.

Je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux niveau de la chambre, il faut une touche de modernité... Le restaurant : les tables ne sont pas débarrassées, on a du mal à trouver de la place le matin, des mouches autour du fromage...

Decent hotel, good location with plenty of parking. Staff were helpful, and there was a friendly outside bar each evening.

Our room was at the back of the hotel and very dark. Comfortable and clean though.

Hoofdgebouw heel mooi en vooral het restaurant is prachtig. Ligging is fijn, op korte afstand van Brussel en voldoende laadplekken voor mijn auto.

Bij inschecken is niet veteld dat het hele hotel geen werkende airco heeft. Dat moest ik zelf uitvinden eenmaal op mijn kamer. Receptie kwam een ventilator brengen, dat hielp enigszins, maar de hele nacht was het 25 graden op de kamer. Slecht geslapen dus wat geen fijn begin was voor een dag met afspraken in Brussel. Op mijn vraag of vanwege de defecte airco dat nog gecompenseerd ging worden, kreeg ik het ontbijt gratis. Ontbijtbuffet was om 8:00 uur op verschillende plekken al helemaal leeg! Hoe makkelijk zou het zijn geweest om pro actief bij de receptie het defect te melden en bijvoorbeeld een gratis drankje aan de bar aan te bieden. Had ik ook prima gevonden. Kamers vond ik nogal gedateerd en tapijt in gang mag hoognodig vervangen worden. Ambiance in de bijgebouwen is erg matig. Het restaurant steekt dan in positieve zin enorm af t.o.v. de rest van het hotel. Prachtig, heel vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk gegeten!

Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit.

Die Klimaanlage war ausgefallen - bei offenem Fenster lärmte die Kühlanlage des benachbarten Rechenzentrums. Abhilfe schaffte erst ein Zimmerwechsel.

The room was very wide. Bigger than I'm used to, which was nice for us. Staff wasnice and check-in was smooth, but I did pay everything before arriving, so just the key was handed over.

The ventilation in the bathroom was running permanently and made a whistling sound. Horrible at night. I solved it with some toilet paper and told them the next morning.

Everything was fabulous. We arrived due to delayed flight past midnight, all in need of a hot drink the night person on the reception let us use the breakfast areas to make a tea , a wonderful gesture and the hot drink was badly needed.

No water on the table with the evening meal portions were a little on the small side. The waiting staff were all excellent

Nice property conveniently located from city center, less than 30 minutes from Brussels and 10 minutes from the Waterloo battle site.

It seems like it’s had a lot of use from conventions and could use new hallway carpet and paint

Friendly and non intrusive staff, parking available and good size , good location - close to the highway. Excellent food in the restaurant, despite the slightly higher prices i really enjoyed it. That probably made my day after looking at the stained carpet.

The facility is dated. Rooms need renovation, carpets replacing and pillows cannot be stained . Coffee maker needs cleaning/ descaling. This is below Van Der Valk standards I have experienced in the past. I stayed in the main building.

The stay was very very quiet. Greatly appreciated it! No noise from the next or above rooms. The courtyard was very quiet as well.

The breakfast was really lovely, lots of variety and good quality food. I thought the room was a little on the small side, but bathroom was spacious. The grounds of the hotel were really nice, with outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine. Sleep mist for pillow was a lovely touch!

I don't recall being told breakfast start and finish times or checkout times and I couldn't locate the information in he room, that would have been helpful.

We doesn't have breakfast at the hotel. I love the wardrobe. I maneged to put everything in the wardrobe and the room was in order. The bathroom is big, and the shower box is big. The room have a good size. The hotel is clean, there are parking and the staff is kind.

At the restaurant, the service is confuse, and I don't like. Food is not particularly good, and there are other places in the city to try something interesting.

The restaurant, staff, food and decor were all first class. Fortunatly we were seated well away from the room access walkway, desctibed below (What didnt you like).

Room access. Required to walk down 4 steps into the restaurant, then walk through the restaurant, NOT between the tables, but along an open walkway adjacent to, and in full view of people eating in the restaurant. Diners eating in the restaurant have arivals and or departing guests walking past them with their suitcases, which is not the best. Bar. No bar staff in the bar/lounge area. Had to go to reception and ask them to order our drinks. If additional drinks were required, then back to the reception desk????
