Location is great. Quick response to message around check in details.

Needs a lot of updating. Window pains replaced cheaply. Radiator rusty etc.

Location was good and it was ok for a place to stay close to the pier.

Doors slamming with people going to the communal toilet. The bed was not comfy to sleep in I woke multiple time during the first night due to the banging of doors and bed comfort. It would be beneficial to have parking permits for guests.

The shower did not work and staff was in helpful and did not resolve the problem .

The property has a rodent problem (mice). They told me pest control sorted it out but how does pest control sort a rodent problem in 1 day. Laughable.

There was a mouse in the room where my granddaughter was staying with us. Mattress had wee or whatever stains that was on them. When I spoke to reception, he said it’s a common thing to happen in Brighton because there was a storm

Staff and location are lovely, room clean and beds comfortable, lovely view towards the Brighton Pier and the sea

Windows are old and their isolation very poor, wind blowing all over, on the summer time should be all good but if is slightly colder outside is a problem

I like the fact that you can check yourself in. Very convenient.

It was fairly dirty in the bathroom and the sink made the whole room smell very bad.

Dirty, grubby crack den like style. No reception no humans to talk to. Everything on email if they bothering replying and no phone number to contact them. Dirty filthy stained mattress, no door on shower it was a random curtain so impossible to shower if not with a person you can be naked in front of. Place stunk of BO. Also haven’t returned our deposit now and I’m having to take legal action as it’s been a month since we stayed and they have ahold on £100 on my account.

Room and sheets were not cleaned before arrival. Ground floor rooms are not as advertised.

Low price. It’s not easy to find something reasonably priced in Brighton and Hove area so the rate was really competetive and I appreciate that.

It was a bit run down and the room was tiny but again for this price can’t complain really.

the location was great

the heating was not on, and was freezing. the shower - whenever you tried to put the cold tap on with the hot it would be freezing, so was made to just have it with the hot tap on. which was beyond burning.

the rooms were very nice

there was a leakage on the ceiling and most of my clothes were wet.

unfortunately the property is looking worst for wear including ripped carpets, holes in the walls and our curtains kept flying due to there being massive gaps in the windows which also made us freezing through the night. the duvet if you can call it that was as thin as paper it added no warmth at all.

It’s true what they say you get what you pay for, HMP has better and cleaner sells but saying that you wouldn’t get prison cell that cheap

Staff great bunch but I would imagine greatly under payed

Room was very dated, not very clean, the toilet seat was broken off completely, only enough toilet roll for 1 evening. We had to go and buy some. The blind on the window was damaged badly and had to shower in virtual darkness.
