It’s a large family managed hotel, with a familiar sense. It has a lovely spacious sitting room by reception and a working lift to get you to your room. The cleaning staff are very friendly and the hotel owner is a legend. It’s located right in the middle of Luso centro so all is in reach. The bedroom has good air conditioner which is brilliant for the hot days. This hotel has loads of potential and I know it’s being improved each year.

The pool area needs proper ventilation for the condensation. Bedroom housekeeping needs a little more attention, in particular hoovering the floors. The sitting room on the 4th floor needs to become functional. Its currently looking more like an abandoned dusty room. It’s a shame because it could be a lovely space. The reception staff needs to have a space for their discussions away from the clients space. They are often heard and seen arguing and shouting with each other.

Relaxing and wonderful place, all the team are very kind.

Shower takes time to get heated, and it doesn't have lot of pressure. Breakfast could improve a little bit.

I work online while traveling, and was staying at a friend's place in Penacova, but it was super cold so I came here because I saw it was a good price and had WiFi and air conditioner heating in all the rooms. I was very pleasently surprised. The staff are so friendly and super helpful, the hotel was dated but with super comfortable beds, with a spacious breakfast room, indoor dip pool which I didn't try but good to know fur next time. The room had great curtains fitted blackout, no street noise over night, and best of all the bath has spa bubbles!! The hotel decor is old, fashioned, but it's stacked full of interesting artwork and the location is just brilliant, 20 mins walk to the forest and 30 mins to Buçaco Palace. I will stay here again.

The bed was comfortable and the price wasn’t too big.

The room wasn’t very clean, breadsheet was with stains, towels with holes. There was a strange smell in all hotel.

The staffs are really nice and helpful! The hotel is situated in the center of the town, parking is easy and the breakfast is of good quality for this price as well.
