Staff - Two young bar lads where amazing. They where the one shining light in such a bad situation and should be commended for their professionalism and friendliness. I felt bad for them dealing with situations they shouldn't have to (leaks in roof, broken lights etc) without any sign of management help. They did a fantastic job and couldn't have helped enough, sympathising with our situation, providing extra blankets (it was cold) and lamps (room light didn't work).

When we arrived there was a leak in roof above bed. Bed was saturated in rain water so we luckily got a new room. Bedsheets had blood stains and towels smelled bad. Lights throughout hotel didn't work (hall ones broke etc), as well as in bedroom. We had to request a lamp to see ourselves in mirror. Decor and facilities in rooms all seemed broken and old. Wall art was covered in webs. Windows damp and dripping condensation. This is definitely not a hotel, and feels like a bar with a few rooms upstairs (bar was actually not bad). Fire exit handle was broken, ornaments in hall was broken, it didn't feel like the safest place to stay. Definitely one of the more expensive ones I've stayed in in Salthill, and definitely the worst place we have stayed in salthill. We didn't expect a lot but the situation was not worth the money we paid.

The size of my room,also the breakfast was very good,the location was about a 30 minute walk from Galway City centre,but you could get a bus that bought you into the city.

Shower wasn't working right hot water in the sink in the bathroom but not the shower wasn't ideal when you wanted to refresh after a long journey

Just nice people. Nice B&B. Its not outrageously fancy or anything but that's not what they're going for. We'll worth it
