The decor in the hotel is beautiful. Rooms are of a very high standard. The location is very central. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Bar and restaurants in the hotel were the best.

There were renovations taking place in the hotel at the time.

With having our flight cancelled after a 4 night stay we decided to treat ourselves with a night at the Sofitel. It did not disappoint. The staff were amazing and the bartender at La Solon Rouge was on top of his game - the cocktails were amazing. The bed was comfortable and the room was a great size.

the room size is quite good for two people to stay in. The bathroom's warm floor is very comfortable as it was snowed when we arrived. The bed is so cozy, neither too soft nor too firm.

the room decoration is a little bit old. It will be perfect if the light is a little bit brighter. The shower water flow is a little small.

Outstanding hospitality from the staff, fantastic location. Luxurious rooms. You can find free street parking very close by. Overall unforgettable experience.

Very minor point, one side of the king bed had a small slouch in it.

Location. The property is very conveniently located to the Centre of Queenstown’s entertainment and dining district and very accessible to various activities.

Price. I did not think that the property & service warranted the price paid. Cleanliness. The room did not seem to get properly refreshed after our first night’s stay. Bins not emptied; bed not made.

big rooms, nice decor, great location, good buffets

well presented, rooms are great sizes and well maintained and clean. location is fantastic.

with the current road works it was difficult to carry our bags up the flights of stairs next to the hotel. we had to do this a few times as when we first arrived to check in at 2pm we were told that the room wasn’t ready and we’re asked to come back in an hour, which was okay but would have preferred them to offer to store our bags instead of having to carry them up back the 3/4 flights of stairs.

the location is good and central.

parking valet is very slow and expensive there was no one to help us with luggage when we checked out and we had to push the trolley full of luggage ourselves. it was very hard to do it as there was not much space in the hallway. lack of staff and very poor customer service for 5 star hotel.
