Great place to stay, in a perfect location, train station nearby, and also we got a guest card to use the buses for free, which we made use of, and it was great. The room was nice and clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was really good, had lots of choices. The staff were really nice and friendly and always ready to help us out. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Die Lage ist super, man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Zugspitze. Die Unterkunft ist ein familiengeführtes kleines Hotel. Wir wurden super nett empfangen und haben gleich viele gute Empfehlungen für unsere Ausflüge bekommen. Die Zimmer und das gesamte Hotel sind super sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll hergerichtet, alles ist frisch und hochwertig und lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Dieses Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

We stayed in the family run Hotel Garni Zugspitz for a week and I can sincerely say that is one of the few occasions where the hotel was better than expected (or advertised on booking.com). The hosts have great personalities, very warm and welcoming attitude towards their guests, the rooms are crystal clean (better even then some 5 star hotels I've stayed in before), and the location is great. We had to leave the hotel one night earlier than booked, and even though we knew the non-refund conditions of the booking, the hosts offered voluntarily not to charge for the other services we used during our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for everyone looking to explore the Zugspitze and even Tirolean area. If you enjoy hiking or climbing make sure to ask the hosts for tips. They won't disappoint.

Location is very good, Alps was visible from the room window, fantastic view. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly.

very nice hosts, excellent care

we loved our stay here. my friend and i came up to ski for a few days and are so glad we stayed at Hotel Garni. it snowed while we were there and we ate breakfast looking out into the backyard filled with snow and it was so peaceful, so beautiful! the family who owns the hotel were so lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the sauna after skiing all day was perfect. they have a room to store your skis and boots, it is such a cute room, filled with so many knickknacks - it feels so homey. the beds were really comfortable, really everything was so lovely
