Cleaners start cleaning rooms at 8 am in the morning every day and sometimes they can be a bit noisy.

Our air con broke on day 1, was fixed but then broke again from day 2 to day 4 when we left. Also our bedroom window didn’t lock (we were ground floor room) meaning we had to take all valuables with us every time we left the room. Our room wasn’t cleaned properly for days, they’d come in and change the sheets but wouldn’t sweep or empty the bin. The room by the end of our trip stank due to the kitchen bin not being emptied for 4 days (it doesn’t have a lid). Of course when the rooms have cooking facilities you must expect that guests will prepare meals and generate food waste Also extremely noisy - could hear people coming and going at all hours as we’d been given a room next door to reception. My friend and I were hoping for some quiet next to the pool only to find they blast out music all day, at a level which makes it impossible to read, and you can barely hear your own music through headphones. It wasn’t even nice chilled music, it was just some kind of radio station. I get that ibiza is a party place, however I’d have thought that by booking a hotel outside San An closer to the less developed areas we’d avoid some of the constant noise. It didn’t really look like anyone enjoyed the pool music. We told reception about the issues related to the room (I didn’t complain about the music) and we were told on day 1 that we could move room the next night yet this never happened. Our air con was fixed once, but then they didn’t bother to come and help when it broke again hours later, and at no point did anyone attempt to fix the window. This left us feeling unsafe at night and as mentioned, we would take jewellery/passports each time we left the room due to the security issues. The receptionist even looked confused when we asked for a complaint form on the way out - which is ironic as she was the staff member who had told us these issues would be fixed days ago.
