First receptionist when checking in was not cordial - told me the room check in was at 3 and told me to come back at 3 pm. After a meal, another receptionist was very accommodating and check me for room at 12 pm.

Very friendly staff Exceptionally clean rooms and a wonderful housekeeping and room service! The hotel should be very proud of its attentive, friendly and very helpful staff. As a female solo traveller I was treated with the utmost respect and my wish for a quiet room was fulfilled.

The only thing that bothered me during my stay was that the grand lobby was closed due to decoration activities. This wasn’t told me beforehand. The lobby with high tea options & the only bar at the hotel is in a way the heart of this property.

Everything! The most incredible stay we've ever had. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. There were so many lovely touches that made our stay so comfortable and a true pleasure! The atmosphere was very elegant and welcoming. We hope to return one day.

Exellent breakfast. Mene they should move it to the top Floor to Get an amazing virus, or maybe have a bar or restaurant at the top Floor.

Comfortable beds and room. Attentive and responsive staff. Connected to many shops and restaurants. Grand lobby and live music cafe and other conveniences all around the hotel. New renovations is well-designed.

Sauna and pool facilities are meh. Room views are ok generally but depends on room. Not really a travelers haven in terms of walkability aside from connected malls, have to take taxi out.

One of the nicest hotel experiences I've had. Definitely the best in Korea in terms of comfort. Staff were incredible. Particular shoutout to the conceirge who helped me book my KTX to Busan. The breakfast is really great and really enjoyed the view from there over to Starfield COEX. Overall just a great experience and really felt worth the splurge.

Minor criticism that the Sunday lineup for getting into breakie was a bit crazy. It was handled well and the staff were total pros, but also feel with that kind of jam-up they should perhaps consider offering in-room breakfast service as an alternative since they know they have an issue (on check-in we were told we might need to get down to breakie early if we did not want a crowd.). Then again, the place is just good and yum and popular, soooo...

Room too small, smaller than the look on the photos. Value for money is not high The housekeeping is not good for one day, at nine someth they requested for housekeeping but I was out for breakfast only and would return room. When I returned from breakfast I found card saying I have missed their housekeeping time and would need to make a call if I want the cleaning for the day, and I was ten something only in the morning. Then i made a call for cleaning when I needed to go out. When i returned to hotel at night, the housekeeing left a dirty cleaning towel in bathroom on top of my own stuff, and it was super smelling. However, the housekeeping team apologized and made up to me by giving me some gifts. It was fine.

I stayed at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel for almost 8 nights, and I must say that our stay was a 10/10. Everything was exceptional from the checking in process, to the spacious rooms, to the breakfast, to the daily housekeeping services, and the concierge. A special shout-out to the best concierge staff you can ask for!! Special thanks to Steven, Brian, Eric, Andrew, and James for their excellent assistance and cooperation throughout our stay. They helped us in recommending the main attraction sites and the best food spots you can eat at it Seoul. The location of the hotel was also perfect. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Seoul.

The location was nice - the South side of the COEX mall, and conveniently very close to a major subway line. The hotel design was nice and modern. The rooms were nicely designed too - I appreciated the high-end finishes. The bathroom was great: very nice separate bidet toilet. The shower could have had better water pressure, but it was still very nice. The breakfast buffet was great. Delicious and great variety. I appreciated the egg station with a chef making eggs to order.

We had a bit of an issue upon arrival. The room we reserved was listed as "your child (under 12 years old) stays for free". When we got to the room, the "bed" for the child was a chaise lounge, and about 45" long. There only way our 11 year old would have been able to sleep on this was sitting upright. We had just been at a hotel which also stipulated that our child would stay for free, and they had provided a twin sofa bed, which was perfect, for no extra charge. Here, at the Grand Intercontinental, they didn't even provide bedding, and when I called to ask for a pillow, sheets and a blanket, they told me that it would cost extra!!! I was not pleased at all, and felt that I had been misled. I spoke with the night manager and he was incredibly rude. Finally, the very nice man that checked us in, got on the phone and said he would send us a duvet blanket, free of charge. Thankfully, someone who actually cares about customer service helped me! I am shocked that a "high-end" hotel would nickel and dime their customers this way. It left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth about this hotel and would probably not stay here again. Also, their indoor pool was very bad. It is in sore need of an update. I had a 90's institutional feel to it. I swam 2 laps and left immediately.

Everything was perfect! One of the best hotels we stayed in and we travel a lot.
