Apart from the location, honestly nothing. Actually no, I liked the fact that I was given a fan for my room.

Where do I start? I was met at the reception desk by a guy who felt to me like he didn't want to be there. He showed me to my room (Room 8), where I was booked to stay for three nights. As I walked up the stairs, I noticed that the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, and needed to be replaced. As he showed me into my room, I noticed that the inside of the door didn't have a handle to pull it open, so I had to grab the latch to wrench open the door, which wasn't exactly comfortable. I also noticed the inside of the door was full of dents and scrapes. Upon entering the bathroom, It was obvious that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, as there was urine on the toilet seat, and two pubic hairs. As well as that, I noticed that there were strands of someone else's hair in the shower tray. Around the shower tray, there was a very bad case of black mould, and also on the floor surrounding the tray. I also saw blood stains on the grouting. There was mould on the walls, as well as in various places on the ceiling. The towels provided definitely needed to be replaced as they were threadbare, and not exactly clean. The top of the desk in the room was covered in crumbs and dust, and the desk itself was also in a very bad state, as was the TV. The chair provided was also falling apart, and the coating was coming away. The plug socket was dangerous as it was coming away from the wall and wobbled as you plugged things in, so was a hazard. The TV remote was filthy, and hadn't been cleaned. The curtains looked like someone had taken a knife to them. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and left me in pain, the mattress very worn out and stained, and the bedding was dirty. The radiator was rusted, and was full of thick amounts of dust and fluff. Pigeons had made their nests outside the window, so were very loud. WiFi was unusable. The kettle was full of crud. I left after the second night, as I couldn't bear to stay for a third.

The light in adjacent room was on all night! The occupants who didn’t breakfast were noisey into the early hours, this exacerbated by heat at night. Do you open windows to ventilate or close out noise.

bedroom needed painting but apart for that every thing was very good including breakfast parking was very good had no problems very close to the sea front and a short walk to amusements

just the bedroom needed to look smarter that is the only thing that let it down staff was very help full and explained every clearly

Room was tidy and spacious breakfast was superb minis yoghurt and fresh fruit but overall a pleasant stay

Hotel is being used to house people by the local council. Greeted outside by one person who is obviously having a 'difficult' time. We were booked for a 2 day holiday and really should have been made aware of the nature of the hotels business. We have stayed here before, but it has Im very sad to say, gone down hill rapidly. We left almost immediately, having pre payed for the 2 night stay.

Everything....the place is old outdated...unclean...electrical items checked 2015-2017....bed springs prominent...pillows uncomfortable & smelt. Bathroom was not cleaned before arrival. Dining chairs old & uncomfortable.

We have stayed here 3 times. Rooms were horrendous this time, no curtains, no bath mats, towels were very short, shower was none existent an overall poor experience for us. We wont be staying there again.

Woodchip wallpaper 😳 in this day and age. Bedside light was broken both shade and bulb. Bed and furniture well past their sell by date. Carpets were old and been bleached by the sun. Curtain in the bathroom was broken and just been left for who knows how long.

Location and breakfast - although service was chaotic

Grubby and shabby room. Holes in the wall where door handle and hinge had been. Dust on chair you could write your name in. Headboard at a jaunty angle due to being attached at one end only. Curtain rail falling down so big gap at top of curtain. No mattress or pil;low protectors. Bedframe wobbly. Mattress so thin as soon as you sat on it you could feel the bed base. Grubby marks all over the wallpaper. Room not made up for the second nightSmall room but huge bathroom. Dust and cobwebs on the window. Not double glazed so chilly as no working heater in bathroom. No bathmat. Towels poor

Nice welcome. Clean room. Crisp white sheets. Comfortable bed. Quiet night. Hot shower. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking on the street. Close to Sealife centre.

Dated furniture but I only paid £34 for a single room.
