The room clearly hadn’t been cleaned, flooring around the whole hotel is a trip hazard The corridor upstairs on the second floor smelt like someone was smoking and it was so hot upstairs it was uncomfortably warm and I couldn’t sleep all night I was given a tiny fan that did nothing when I asked for another one I was told that’s all they had Couldn’t get bottled water or ice Receptionist didn’t seem interested It looks like it’s used by council for migrants or homeless it I’m honest The pictures are nothing like what it looks like now

On arrival they couldnt find our booking for 20mins and once found they gave no explanation of when breakfast would be served or anything. We were here for 2 nights and the bars were closed both nights the vending machine empty and off, coffee machine was off too asked reception were we can get a cold drink and she got us a lemonade in the smallest glass ever and charged £2.75 for one. No hot water had to used the kettle water once boiled to heat up the bath water. No plug for the bath to begin with but house keeping did sort this straigh away as house keeping staff are actually really nice (one good thing) walking out tonthe car park inwas asked if i know where to get weed and other drugs by other hotel stayers, and multiple people were smoking weed in the car park and by the door and no staff did anything about this. Went down for breakfast on thursday morning 4/7/24 and was told that breakfast is served between 7am and 8am and the chef even walked past and said the kitchen is closed now and we could not even have a coffee now. Then on friday morning 5/7/24 we woke for 7am to get breakfast that we had paid for and heard staff tell someone that breakfast is till 9am which annoyed us alot. Our room was meant to be the superior suit it was tiny, tv smaller than our pillows and all the other issues already mentioned. Could have the window open at night wither as with all the druggies and drunk people was worried someone might come throught it as our window opened all the way and if we wnated to could have sat on the flat roof of the hotel as there was already broken glass and cups on it show ming that people may have been on there recently. During the night of the 4th after we had been out for a nice meal somewhere no where near the hotel when we got back and walked in to reception and a drunk old man walked to the desk bleeding from his head alot and then followed us toward our room and pissed all over the floor and throw up too.

It was a nice comfortable property.

The bar was poorly stocked.

Very quirky interior!! Comfy beds!! A beautiful bathroom!!

The reception staff were a little bit clueless and check in was a lot longer than it should have been.

I didn't like the stay from start to finish!!!!

Room was uncomfortably hot and the dining room was freezing, all areas were dark and outdated, ordered a twin room but only had a double when we arrived, the breakfast was of very poor quality given it was £15 per head (What a joke!!!) the kettle lid was broken, the TV had sound but no picture, had a £29.99 pending on my card which I knew nothing about and the staff were so NOT interested the receptionist was very abrupt... I hated the stay and couldn't wait to get out of there.... never again....
