Room was good, on arrival we were upgraded 😎 to a queen size bed Staff were good from arrival to when we departed Food and drink in the hotel was good Great shower and Dove products

Lack of plug sockets in the room Breakfast good, but a small area to get food and very busy Dogs in the breakfast area, not one for me whilst eating

A perfect stop off stay on the way to Cornwall. Great breakfast and lots of stunning places to visit nearby.

I stayed at this hotel in Honiton with a couple of friends who had visited it in the past and recommended it to me. The reception and bar staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially when I encountered a problem with the TV in my room, which was fixed quickly and efficiently. We all liked the fact that the hotel offers guests the option of an evening supper menu, which was very good value and enjoyable after days out exploring the area. The guest rooms are very attractive, spacious and clean including a very good shower room. The large carpark was also a bonus. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel at Honiton.

An improvement in the dining area would be more comfortable chairs with cushioned seating so guests can linger longer and enjoy the relaxed vibe of this very pleasant hotel.

Clean. Convenient location.

Uncomfortable bed and pillows. No TV remote and had to go down 3 times before getting correct one. Had to pay for parking. Very basic and poor quality breakfast.

Breakfast was great, plenty to choose from. Room was clean & big enough for 4 for one night

Minor things, we didn't have any toilet roll in our room on arrival, TV remote didn't work, pillow wasn't comfortable

Dining room breakfast, tables were dirty had to ask for them to be cleaned, left very wet so then had to ask for them to be dried, buffet area for breakfast very small to cater for the number of people there, short staffed, no plates, drinks from machines all didn’t taste good, Felt very dirty, not saying it was but not a great feeling. Beds very soft and uncomfortable and pillows were exceptionally hard and lumpy sadly.

The room was a bit sparse considering I paid £120 + Just the bed & a single chair in the corner plus of course the normal TV area. The shower room was set up for a disabled guest & yet the shower was a wet room with no tray so water over most of the floor. The toilet space was set up with handles to get up easily which indicates a customer with perhaps balance issues. Possibly a review of how the room is set up as I nearly slipped. The air conditioning not on when I entered my room so cold to start with.

Toilet roll holder broken. No fridge. Orange juice ran out at breakfast.

Staff on the desk were lovely, welcoming and gave advice on local things to do before we travelled home.

More of a range available at breakfast. Rooms very dusty and drawing on the wall, metal casing missing from lamp just small things that make it look shabby. Floor didnt seem very clean either needs a good hoovering.

Staff were friendly, Bar was good not as expensive as I was expecting. Room was good and fit for purpose.

Lots of different types of breakfast available but limited hot 'English Breakfast items' Juices were watered down and tasteless. Corridor was noisy during the night. Though not much the hotel can do about noisy guests so wouldn't mark that against the hotel itself.

Excellent staff. Everyone is extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Pillows. Either hard, lumpy or ‘too full’ giving a creak in the neck.

Room was clean, quiet after switching off the air conditioning fan, breakfast was adequate and tasty.

Bed was hard; one of the single beds was positioned against a wall, under the air conditioning outlet. Breakfast was a bit of a scrum and fruit was not replenished for later guests.

Dog friendly. Relianly clean and good room sizes.

The restaurant wasn't open on the only night we needed it. On a Saturday.

My parents stayed for this visit and rang me on arrival to say what a wonderful equipped hotel , lots of variety and good size restaurant and nice bedroom

Staff friendly, good facilities for a basic hotel.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Didn't like the air con constantly whirring. Also felt that it was a bit overpriced for just a 3 night stay in october.

We like this particularly hotel as it’s perfect for our needs. Staff were very friendly. Room spotlessly clean. Good choice at breakfast.
