Heel vriendelijk personeel, heel gemoedelijke sfeer, prima ligging, vlakbij centrum en toch heel rustig. Zeer attentvol: we bestelden een glas champagne en kregen dit aangeboden door het hotel omdat we daar al een paar keer gelogeerd hadden

Unfortunately nothing really

Not so Grand hotel… We paid more than 400 euros for 2 nights, and the experience was awful. Here are some reasons not to book your stay here: - of course a hotel comes with a bit of noises but this was next level. Our room was located next to the breakfast room – we’re woken up at 6 in the morning by staff preparing the breakfast. Not even to mention the noise when the dining room is packed. - after 1 minute of showering we were finding ourselves foot deep in our own shower water – it didn’t run away. The solution they offered after sharing our experience was “take off the cap before using the shower” (which did solve the problem) and it still feels strange to us. - Parking is chaos. If you need to use your car, you are blocked by other cars and you depend on the staff to get a hold on the other guests to move their car. In our case, we were blocked by 6 cars. Gos forbid if you would have an emergency where you need to leave immediately. - The airco on the room is outdated. - Location is okay-ish. Depending on your mobility, it is a 15-minute walk to The Cathedral. The nearest restaurants about 10minutes. We shared our complaints with staff and the manager. the manager and they only offered a €30 refund…. This hotel is definitely not worth 4 stars and not worth your stay. Based on checking off the location facilities, they can call themselves a 4-star hotel. The experience is not worth 4 stars at all. In addition, if you want to use the swimming pool, you pay €20 per hour. On top of this, upon check out they had send an email asking to write a review with a 9 or 10 score…

Very central location, extremely helpful and pleasant staff, cosy rooms, breakfast more than adequate for us, plenty to eat.

Our shower leaked terribly in to the room and also didn't drain away well, we had to shower using it as a hand held shower otherwise water poured out of the sides, we are sure this could be easily fixed.

Location is good Bed was OK

Very old decoration and furniture in hotel. Rooms very small and with "old" smell. Breakfast was prepared for each table (room) separately. Not good quality and variaty of the food provided. Sauna is avaible, but at 20€ the hour...

Great hotel, lovely location and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended. Will stay again
