The reception was super nice and friendly, the staff always smiling. Large and clean rooms and a great view of the Mont Saint Michelle from the large window. More than expected.

Need to make a reservation for dinner, but this was made clear during check-in

The location is amazing. We had an uninterrupted view of mont st Michel from our room.

Breakfast was poor. We went down for breakfast about 8.30am and the room was such a mess. Tables loaded with used pots. Just not enough staff.

The location is great! Perfect location.

The rooms and hotel needs some tlc. Dinner wasn't very nice, ut may have had Michelin chef at one time. However, it wasn't Michelin Star now. The rooms are in need of repairs and some tlc, but even then the rooms needed a cleaning.

This is an excellent base from which to explore Mont Saint Michel. The hotel does all the things it should do well and the food was excellent. Definitely the best hotel to stay in at this location.

It would take very little effort to improve the restaurant- all reviews that mention the (poor) quality of the restaurant are unfortunately true…

The site was fantastic with a view panoramic for the Monaster. The staff was nice and helped us correctly. The room was comfortable.

There was no internet at all. Even my paid service was not reachable. The wifi - there was no wifi even if I received all necessary codes for that. The breakfast was sufficient but the omelett was not good at all and I asked beacon in vain several times.

It was convenient. The price was great. Nice staff.

Arrived Sunday and dining room was closed. Understandable though. My room was hot as no AC or fan, so I had to open the sliding glass door. Had there been a screen, I would have rated my stay higher. I can't verify the sliding glass door locked, but it should be. At night, I closed the sliding door, but some mosquitoes were already in the room. I would avoid staying there in the summer, unless one plans on being gone during the afternoon and early evening. It's just too hot.

Horrible breakfast

Can't beat the view (had a family room with the view). Very comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Had a dinner / breakfast included and highly recommend the option if you want to explore Mont Saint Michel and then just relax (there is not much going on in the area). We had a family room in the main building, it had two separate big bedrooms with huge closets (with one bedroom having access to a large terrace) and two bathrooms which was much better than expected from the pictures showing loft kind of situation. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant tables and windows could use some cleaning.

The view

The hotel was located closest to the bridge that leads to Mont St. Michel.

My room had a strong smell of paint coming from the doors of the bathroom and toilet. Even though I opened the window, the smell persisted throughout the night. I requested a room change from the reception, but unfortunately, all the hotel rooms were fully booked, and they expressed their apologies as the room had just been renovated. There were two heaters in the room and bathroom, but they didn't seem to be effective as both rooms remained cold. The separate bathroom and toilet setup was inconvenient for handwashing. Additionally, the two rolls of toilet paper were placed on the bin as there was no holder available. Although I had chosen a room with a Mont St. Michel view, the view I had was partially blocked by a group of trees, which was disappointing. Moreover, the breakfast counter was small and lacked variety.

What a view! We booked a room with a view and it definitely delivered. The hotel is the closest one to the Mont and you can either walk or take the shuttle bus across to the Mont. The room was huge, staff were all really helpful and friendly as well. We believe the room had just been decorated as it had a slight paint smell. Breakfast buffet was also nice with a selection of rolls, croissants and other savoury goods.

Spacious room with a good view of the nature outside. I bet there are other rooms with a very clear view of Le Mont Saint-Michel but otherwise, the restaurant gives you the opportunity to dine or have breakfast with the such view. The closest hotel to the monastery before the walking bridge!

It was perfect.

loved it! the room was spacious, which was a lovely break from Paris. we also had such a nice view and our go the cold.

the bed was a bit old and could use a new more comfortable mattress. breakfast was also just ok, edible, but not necessarily good. just fine, enough to get the day going. the view was great though.
