Appreciated that the unit was warm upon arrival. The lounge was comfortable and all the electrical components were easy to use (heater, tv, lights)

Skylight made the loft bedroom light very early in the morning.

There was a nice outdoor area, good for families although the trampoline had no safety pads at all. I thought these could be easily purchased and added to the trampoline as it was too dangerous to use for young children.

We felt very disappointed and actually 'ripped off'. We thought we were staying in one of the mezzazine level units but found out we weren't, which was our mistake from not reading the information correctly. We wouldn't have minded so much but to find out we had to pay the same price for what was simply a motel unit was extremely disappointing. The Access Unit should in no way be priced the same as the other units, there was only one couch which wasn't enough to even sit our family, it was 10sq m less than the other units. The 'extra large double bed' quoted were just two singles pushed together so it was horrible lying in the middle of the bed. The shower was an open-floor which I realise was fitted for disabled patrons however when the shower run it soaked the whole floor under the vanity so you got wet socks and had to use multiple towels to wipe out. We stayed in Hamner less than 2 months ago, paid $25 per night more and had a full apartment with a full kitchen and a washing machine. To pay this much for a motel unit was completely over-priced, you'd be better off staying in walking distance of the town and you'd be paying cheaper for a better unit. I even mentioned to the owner that we were extremely disappointed in the price etc but we didn't even get a response. Will certainly not be staying here again.
