Staff were welcoming, supportive and understanding. The rooms were comfortable and larger than expected with natural light, and comfy bedding. Spacious enough with room for everyone to relax.

The difficulty in finding a parking spot blights brighton, so not specific to this hotel. Be weary of stairs steepness.

Good location and in lovely Regency building, near the seafront. The room was comfortable and a good size. I would certainly stay here again.

No heating in room (the radiators were switched off), so it was rather cold, as the weather has been very bad this week. There was no one from the hotel in the building so I had to walk up the road to Strawberry Fields Hotel to collect my keys. The man was nice and helpful, as I had a bit of difficulty opening the front door.

The room was clean and comfortable.

Curtains don’t really work, which turns easy to wake up with external sunlight. There are no lifts and the stairs are super small, being impossible to get upstairs with a big suitcase.

1. We got a room in the basement though we reserved a standard room based on the description on booking.com 2. Heating did not work at all. We got an electrical heater but it made sparkles that we were afraid of using it. 3. The building itself was under process of reconstruction. There was scaffolding at the facade of the building. There was and there is photo about the hotel without scaffolding. Workers were walking on the scaffolding and could watch the guests in the rooms. This situation was ridiculous. The description about the hotel was a cheating on booking.com. 4. Workers were painting the windows of our room. After then smell of paint was unbearable. When I complained the receptionist eventually gave a standard room in another hotel for the last day.
