we were met on arrival by the one of the owners before we were shown to our room we had home made sponge cake and home made mulled wine very nice dont really like wine but it was lovely our room was very warm and cosy with a nice bathroom big shower room lovely hot water beds were very nice and comfy quality duvet plenty of pillows breakfast was exceptionally good plenty choices and quality food well cooked everyone employed at this establishment met our expectations james the owner informed us they were closing in january for refurbishment no noise on a night despite close proximity to main road parking a bit tight but manageable in car park 25 minuite walk into town or a really nice italian restaurant 100 yds having stayed in many hotels and guest houses this is up there with the best well done

Excellent choice & cooked to perfection

The location was ideal. The room was amazing. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Plenty of free car parking on arrival. Warmly greeted and help offered with baggage. Room was spacious, very clean and well decorated with comfortable bed. Made to feel very welcome and this was why this was our second visit. Felt that if we needed anything, the Stone Villa team would do their very best to fulfil our requirements. Great location for the City centre reached by a 15 minute walk. Lovely local shops and restaurant nearby. Excellent breakfast menu with lots of flexibility in what was on offer. A very enjoyable break. The hotel fully deserves their high Trust pilot rating. Already looking forward to our next visit!

The location was perfect,if you didn’t want to go into the town centre there was enough pubs and places to get food from in the next street. The rooms had everything you needed,beds were very big and comfortable,adequate car parking so you can park you’re car up and don’t have to worry about till the end of your visit. The breakfast were fabulous,plenty of choice,the staff were very friendly asked how our day at the races went. Lovely outside seating area,very reasonable price definitely stay again

parking can be a bit difficult if the hotel is busy. a couple errors with the breakfast, but they were corrected very quickly and the food very nice on the whole!

Breakfast was excellent!! A lot of choices nothing was to much trouble. Staff were friendly and local restaurants and pubs were just like they said excellent. Room was very clean!!!
